Chapter 177: Coincidence
Qiu Xingyu cried until the tip of her nose was red and her eyes were swollen. She pleaded with Qiu Tong to get Song Yan back.
When Qiu Xingyuan saw Jin Yang standing helplessly in the living room, he had no choice but to cough lightly to alert Qiu Tong and Little Yu to their presence. When they saw Jin Yang return, their expressions instantly turned to surprise and joy. Little Yu ran out of Qiu Tong’s embrace and rushed straight into Jin Yang’s arms. “Uncle Song Yan!”
“You’re not allowed to leave tonight! You promised Little Yu to stay. You can’t lie anymore!”
“Otherwise, I won’t forgive you in the future.”
Helpless, Jin Yang hugged her and whispered to Qiu Tong what the two children had done. “Even if I want to leave, I can’t.”
Qiu Tong t his gaze. Although the two of them did not say anything, their emotions surged. The corners of her lips curled up slightly.
Jin Yang stayed in the living room to play with the children. Qiu Tong was in the kitchen prepping so ingredients from the fridge. She wanted to prepare a sumptuous dinner for them.
Qiu Tong heated up a pan and was about to fry so eggs when she realized that she could not find the egg molds!
“Who knows where the egg molds are?”
Qiu Tong rummaged around in a panic when she saw that smoke was already rising from the pan.
Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao blinked and shook their heads at the sa ti.
Jin Yang carried Little Yu to the kitchen door and pointed at the second drawer. “They should be in there.”
Qiu Tong was taken aback by his confident answer. Doubtful, she bent over and rummaged through the drawer. She saw that the egg molds were indeed at the place Jin Yang had ntioned. She quickly cracked the eggs into the pan with the molds and skillfully cooked them. “Are you a wizard?”
“You can conjure up everything that goes missing?”
Qiu Tong teased in a relaxed tone. Jin Yang wiped so cream off the corner of Little Yu’s mouth with his fingertips and replied in a very natural tone, “You always used to stash the egg molds in the second drawer and then forget about it. You will end up buying more when you can’t find them…”
A strange silence fell over the villa.
Alert, Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao pricked up their ears to listen to their conversation. Little Yu quickly blinked and turned to look at Qiu Tong.
Qiu Tong adjusted the stove fire to a smaller fla and turned to look at Jin Yang. Her eyes were filled with mockery as she asked, “You seem to know my habits very well? It’s as if we’ve lived together for a long ti.”
“Even Ke Le probably won’t even rember where I keep the egg molds… how did you know?”
Jin Yang also didn’t know where he got his mories from. He had spoken those words very naturally. But when faced with Qiu Tong’s question, he gave a perfunctory excuse and said, “I was just guessing, because you searched all the other places in the kitchen, leaving only the second drawer untouched.”
Qiu Tong didn’t believe him, but she just focused on cooking and let go of this difficult-to-explain topic.
Jin Yang carried Little Yu back to the living room. Qiu Tong watched his departing figure and frowned as she stir-fried the vegetables in the pan.
Amidst the aroma of the dishes, Qiu Tong muttered to herself comfortingly, “It might just be a coincidence.”

Qiu Tong took two deep breaths and ladled the food out. She called Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao over to help. “Let’s eat!”
