Chapter 176: Destroying A Car
Jin Yang carried Little Yu to the living room. Qiu Xingyu hurried upstairs to find so toys to play with him. “Uncle Song Yan, wait for !”
Qiu Tong went to the kitchen to prepare so snacks and warm water for them. Jin Yang took the opportunity while Little Yu was gone to walk to the kitchen door.
He looked at Qiu Tong’s busy back profile and frowned slightly, saying, “I’ll go back first.”
Qiu Tong paused in her actions and turned around, suppressing her disappointnt. She maintained a calm expression and said, “Alright.”
“Be careful on the road.”
Jin Yang wanted to reach out to take the glass of warm water, but in the end, he retracted his fingers and replied with a faint smile, “You too.”
Outside the villa, Jin Yang sat in the driver’s seat. He tried to start the car engine but each attempt ended in failure.
He got out of the car with a puzzled expression to check the situation. He discovered that the car’s engine had been burnt. It had been damaged to the point where it could not be activated anyti soon.
From the corner of his eye, Jin Yang saw two little figures hiding behind the car. He sighed helplessly and walked over to pull Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao out.
“You guys did this?”
Jin Yang pointed at the engine. Qiu Xingyuan struggled to break free from his grip. He pretended to be stupid and said, “We just ca out for a walk.”
“Did you see who damaged this car?”
Qiu Xingyuan pretended to be serious as he asked Qiu Xingqiao. Of course, Qiu Xingqiao shook his head firmly. “No! We are just children. How could we possibly damage this big machine? We are all very obedient. We don’t know how to cause damage to an engine…”
Jin Yang looked at them in amusent and said helplessly, “Looks like this is all fate, right?”
Qiu Xingqiao nodded vigorously. “Yes, yes! In that case, we have no choice but to let you stay for another night.”
Qiu Xingyuan sensed Jin Yang’s gaze on him and turned away with a cold snort. He muttered softly, “If not for Little Yu, this car wouldn’t have broken down and there wouldn’t be a place for you to stay at our house.”
Jin Yang overheard his muttering and laughed.
He squatted down and pulled Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao in front of him.
Jin Yang took out a handkerchief from his pocket and gently wiped the two children’s blackened faces, which they had dirtied while ssing with the engine. The clean white handkerchief was quickly stained pitch-black. Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao looked at each other in shock and realized that the evidence of their “cri” had long been written on their faces!
However, Jin Yang didn’t expose them. Instead, he played along with them.
Qiu Xingyuan and Qiu Xingqiao were a little moved. Their impression of Jin Yang changed slightly, but they remained stubborn and did not say anything.
Jin Yang stood up and reminded the two children, “Next ti, rember to wrap things up properly. Don’t leave behind such obvious evidence.”
“The easiest way to destroy a car is to destroy its starter. Just a small adjustnt on the inside…”
“Don’t do such dangerous things anymore!”
Jin Yang rubbed the top of Qiu Xingyuan’s head as he brought the two children ho.
In the living room, Little Yu was crying as she hugged Qiu Tong. She was also clutching her favorite doll. Little Yu wiped her snot and tears on Qiu Tong and cried, “Why didn’t Mommy help stop Uncle Song Yan?”
“He promised Little Yu that he would stay behind to play with !”
“Uncle Song Yan is a liar!”
