Chapter 162: The Children Are Missing
Qiu Tong observed the enemy through a pair of binoculars and realized that the hooligans were running towards their ambush.
They had been in a deadlock and Qiu Tong was going to improvise to break the stalemate. But at this mont, it was as if soone was secretly helping her. Everything was progressing smoothly. The firepower of the hooligans gradually weakened. Qiu Tong raised her hand with a murderous look. “Surround them!”
“Yes!”
Song Yan’s subordinates imdiately surrounded the hooligans with guns and restrained them.
Unable to escape, the hooligans panicked and fell into tumult. In the end, Song Yan’s subordinates easily captured them alive.
As the night fell, Qiu Tong looked at the hooligans, who numbered fifty in total. She assigned a portion of her n to guard them, while the rest followed her to support Song Yan and et him at the mountaintop!
The road through the mountains was rather difficult to traverse. Qiu Tong hurried with so difficulty to the location where Song Yan had issued the signal flare. She saw the other hooligans tied up by the bonfire.
Song Yan saw her and imdiately went up to ask, “How’s the situation over there?”
“We managed to ambush them. We need to send people to search the entire mountain to see if there are any survivors who managed to escape.”
Qiu Tong wiped the dirt and sweat from her face as she offered her combat advice.
Song Yan expressed his agreent and summoned his subordinates to carry out the task.
Qiu Tong looked at the troops who had already temporarily set up camp and were resting. She suddenly looked around uneasily and asked nervously, “Where are the children? Why don’t I see them?”
Song Yan had already been feeling that sothing was amiss. It was only after she reminded him that he realized he had not seen the children for a long ti.
He hurriedly sent soone to look for the children.

His subordinate stole a glance at Song Yan and had no choice but to answer honestly, “I saw that the fight was at a critical stage and wanted to help. So I left the children behind a rock bunker and instructed them not to run around!”
“But when I went back to fetch them, I realized that there was no one there anymore.”
“There are only three ssy sets of footprints on the ground. They seem to be heading towards the mountains…”
Qiu Tong’s lips turned pale. She turned around and glared at Song Yan. “This is what you ant by protecting them?!”
Seeing Qiu Tong’s attitude towards Song Yan, the subordinate imdiately defended him. “It’s my fault. It has nothing to do with Sir.”
Qiu Tong gritted her teeth and shook him off. She picked up a few submachine guns from the ground and strapped them onto her body. She then led Ke Le and the others to find the children.
Song Yan looked at his subordinate coldly and said indifferently, “You failed in your mission. Go and receive your own punishnt.”
His subordinate nodded in agreent, not daring to disobey or explain further.
Song Yan assigned all his subordinates to search the mountain imdiately. He shouted, “We have to find the children before it gets dark. Otherwise, you will all be punished!”
“Yes.”
His subordinates didn’t dare to delay and scattered in all directions, diving into the forest and shouting the three children’s nas.
