“All team mbers, assemble urgently!”

In a military base in Seoul, the Black Beret Special Forces mbers gathered. Cloaked in their military gear and urged by their respective commanders, they arranged themselves according to rank on the training grounds.

The massive floodlights near the military base's training ground illuminated the entire facility. The Special Forces mbers were not aware of the specific mission yet. Nobody asked as they quietly stood in formation, waiting for the highest command to issue orders.

“We have received the highest directive from the Blue House, and everyone must enter warti status. We have an important mission ahead, and the Supre Commander insists that we must accomplish it at any cost. The details of the mission will be explained by your respective frontline commanders on the way. This is not a drill, I repeat, this is not a drill!”

“Hurry up, get into your combat positions!”

“Yes, sir!”

The Black Beret Special Forces mbers quickly mobilized. Ard helicopters circled in the sky, military Humvee were parked at designated locations, and even tanks were prepared.

Although these Special Forces mbers were curious about the mission, having armored vehicles deployed in Seoul raised eyebrows. Wasn't it excessive for dealing with potential terrorists? And what were tanks being used for?

For a mont, the Special Forces mbers were puzzled. This was Seoul, the capital city. Even if there were terrorists, deploying tanks seed unnecessary. Was this a military coup? The mission orders were not issued here but would be given on the way.

However, despite their suspicions, these well-trained Special Forces mbers had been through rigorous training. They were South Korea's most formidable fighting force, and they obeyed orders without questions.

The Black Beret Special Forces were equipped with Arican gear, high-end equipnt sold to South Korea by the United States. These mbers were ard to the teeth, experienced in various terrains, and were comparable to renowned Arican Special Forces in terms of combat effectiveness.

The only difference was that they didn't have Arica's financial resources, capable of carrying out unlimited airstrikes, carpet-bombing every hundred ters they advanced.

But if it ca to urban warfare, that was where these Special Forces truly excelled.

Several armored vehicles and tanks swiftly left the military base, heading onto the military highway.

South Korea’s President was cautious. To prevent any unforeseen circumstances, he even dispatched armored vehicles, tanks, and ard helicopters, making sure everything was foolproof to so extent. This could be considered a prudent move.

"Now, everyone, pay attention. I'm about to brief you on the mission!"

Inside the armored and transport vehicles, team commanders used handheld computers to explain the mission to all the mbers.

"This is our target for the upcoming attack, located in the outskirts of Seoul. The surroundings are open, with no civilian population nearby. You can go all out!"

The commander pointed to a map, marking a slaughterhouse. South Korea's intelligence agency had prepared detailed information on the interior, architectural layout, and even load-bearing walls of the slaughterhouse. The information was clear and precise.

Special Forces mbers sighed in relief when they saw that their target was just a slaughterhouse and not a governntal building or parliant.

Fortunately, the mission was not a covert military coup.

However, soon these people beca more puzzled. Why was such a grand display needed for just capturing a cult’s domain? Tanks were deployed, too. Could this be a terrorist stronghold? There might be so chemical weapons or other weapons of mass destruction inside, prompting the dispatch of an elite force for an attack?

The South Korean Special Forces mbers increasingly found this idea plausible.

But the next sentence from the commander sent shivers down their spines.

"The objective this ti is to find a book, and this is what the book looks like!"

In each mber's handheld computer, a 3D model of a book appeared.

This was the original model of the Seven Cryptical Books of Hsan created by the United States based on the verbal description provided by the captured Park Jung-chul. To make South Korea understand their target clearly, the United States handed over this model to the South Korean governnt.

"Rember, a death order has been issued from the top. Find this book at all costs. As for the people inside the slaughterhouse, make sure none of them survive, regardless of whether there are elderly, children, or won. They must not breathe anymore. Understand?"

The commander issued a cold and cruel command...

But for the rigorously trained Black Beret mbers, this was not a problem.

"Understood!"

"Very well, let remind you all, this factory may possess so powers beyond common knowledge. However, according to the intelligence from the South Korean Intelligence Agency and the United States, these extraordinary powers are sothing our weapon systems can handle. So, be cautious!"

As the commander's words concluded, all mbers felt a chill. They finally understood why this operation was so high-profile.

They were going to confront individuals with supernatural powers!!

These Special Forces mbers imdiately thought of various major events that had occurred in the last two years, such as the awe-inspiring display of the Chinese old man in Tokyo, the deep one who resisted nuclear weapons, rendering the U.S. Pacific Fleet useless, and the appearance of the Nordic god Odin in Antarctica.

Of course, the things inside the slaughterhouse probably wouldn't be terrifying monsters of that level. Otherwise, entering would be like courting death. Monsters that bullets couldn't penetrate, cannons couldn't move, and even nuclear weapons would have no effect—those were not sothing they could handle.

But they were ard to the teeth, equipped with various mainstream and non-mainstream gear. They estimated that the extraordinary entity inside the slaughterhouse wouldn't be too weak. It might be at the level of the deep one that appeared in Tokyo.

The Black Beret mbers swallowed their saliva. They were fearless when facing any country or force in the world, but that didn't an they could confront non-human monsters without fear!

But there was no choice. Military orders were like mountains. Even if there were worries and fears in their hearts, the mission had to be completed.

Various squads quickly began formulating attack plans based on the slaughterhouse's structure, aiming to minimize sacrifices and losses. They were professionals, and although ti was short, they developed highly feasible assault plans.

Under the cover of night, this force arrived in the open area on the outskirts of Seoul, surrounding the slaughterhouse.

Such a large force couldn't be concealed, and they had no intention of doing so. They intended to take this place in one go.
