“Run!!!”
The major roared.
Without him having to say anything, the others had long since begun running.
Everyone ran back in panic, not knowing the interior layout of the spaceship or if there was an exit along the way. They didn't have the luxury to think about these things at this mont. For them, every second of survival was precious.
The spaceship shook violently, causing debris and viscous fluid from the ceiling to fall. Although the tremors made everyone's steps unsteady, there was no room for complaints. No one was thinking about anything else, and no one sought help. At this mont, everyone understood that the only person who could save them was themselves, and there was no one else they could rely on.
“Rumble rumble—”
The floor of the spaceship cracked. A strange monstrous cry ca from behind them, causing them to instinctively look back. The next mont, their stomachs churned. Even though they were running and their minds filled with fear, their instincts were crying out with the desire to vomit.
What appeared was an extrely terrifying and twisted monster. At first glance, it looked like a giant amoeba with scalp-tingling eyes all over its body.
It had a nightmarish appearance with a sleek black body, emitting a foul stench that filled the small space. It had no legs, only moving by undulating, like a massive, contorted bubble in motion. Nurous eyes emitted a sickly green glow, with pus-like fluid oozing from them. These fluids dispersed and converged, resembling the tentacles of an eldritch monster.
Just imagining that such a monster was living on Earth and breathing the sa air as them was enough to drive everyone crazy.
“Wah—”
Everyone’s faces went pale and so couldn’t help but vomit their stomach fluids and bile. This slowed down their steps, allowing the twisted and disgusting monster to get closer to them.
The monster once again let out an unpleasant scream. The major shouted, “Everyone, do not look at it. Just run and don’t even think about it!”
The major didn’t have to tell anyone, because they all knew from experience that just looking at the monster alone was enough to cause people to die of disgust let alone any physical altercation.
“Shoggoth... Shoggoth... Oh my god, I've read about this creature in the Cthulhu mythology before. I used to wonder what kind of monstrosity could make soone vomit just by looking at it, and here it is.”
Gui Bin’s face turned pale as he ran along with the others. He had thought that as a modern person who had seen so many horror and grueso movies, he wouldn't be affected by the appearance of monsters to the point of physical discomfort. But now he realized he was completely wrong. Real-life monsters were nothing like the ones in movies, and he even suspected that these creatures had so mysterious power that made them so horrifying.
Gui Bin’s guess was surprisingly accurate. This creature, known as the Shoggoth, was created by Louie through the fusion of various disgusting creatures native to the world of San Soliel, including demons, shapeshifters, multi-eyed monsters, brain-eaters, and more. Louis had also added so spells to it. While inhabitants of San Soliel could resist these spells, Earth humans were completely vulnerable. Just one look at it would cause changes in their bodies.
The Shoggoth chased after the crowd. Its eye-laden tentacles slapped back and forth, smashing the spaceship into pieces. The most horrifying thing was that this monster didn’t seem to act on pure instinct. It actually had intelligence.
“Ahhh—”
Suddenly, a miserable scream ca from one of the soldiers at the back of the passageway. One of the Shoggoth’s huge tentacles whipped forward and touched his calf. Just a re graze and his calf was completely fractured.
“Major, leave behind!! I can’t run away anymore!”
After falling to the ground and looking at his twisted calf, the soldier knew that he couldn’t run anymore. He endured the pain and shouted to the people in front of him.
“Shut the fuck up, you two carry him on your backs!”
The major cursed angrily with reddened eyes. He ordered two soldiers who quickly ran over without saying anything and prepared to carry this soldier with them.
But the soldier with the broken calf suddenly took out a grenade from his waist and pulled its ring.
“You…”
The major was shocked when he saw the grenade in his hand.
“Major, you should all run! Run as far away as you can. Carrying will only get more people killed. I’ll fight this monster and try to buy you guys more ti!!”
The major with bloodshot eyes and an expression of intense anger shouted loudly, “Run, everyone, run for your lives! Don't waste the ti he fought for us!”
The soldiers looked deeply at this soldier and quickly ran. While those experts had tears in their eyes and gritted their teeth while enduring the soreness of their legs as they also continued to run.
“FUCK!!! I’m gonna kill you!!”
The soldier from who knows which country picked up his firearm and fired it frantically. The bullets hit the Shoggoth’s body, but only disgusting mucus splashed out, unable to stop it at all.
The soldier then dropped his gun and pulled a bunch of grenades out of his belt, pulling out all the rings of the grenades.
Before coming on this expedition, all the soldiers carried as few bullets as possible and brought more grenades. They were prepared for sacrifice and knew that firearms might not be very effective against potential mysterious creatures. Multiple high-explosive grenades exploding simultaneously might be more effective.
“Go to hell!!! You disgusting monster!!!”
“BOOOM—”
As the Shoggoth’s tentacle was about to touch the soldier, an explosion ca from the soldier, causing terrifying flas to fill the ship.
Under the intense heat and impact of the flas, the Shoggoth only scread a few tis and then continued to chase forward with its body burning. Slowly, the flas were extinguished by the mucus, and aside from a few charred tentacles, it did not suffer any further damage.

Just as the people in the Antarctic underground were on the run, the Antarctic research station was on the highest alert. The heads of the state were also in the midst of an ergency council eting.

“This is the latest news from Antarctica. The teorite fragnt suddenly emitted light and disappeared. The entire Antarctic base is now on the highest alert. I suggest that capable nations imdiately aim their intercontinental missiles at the Antarctic continent, ready to launch at any mont. If necessary, we must be prepared to launch a nuclear strike!”
The representative of Russia made a statent at the outset.
