“Master!”

A respectful voice ca from behind Louie.

Aurora turned sideways, imdiately locking eyes with the person walking towards her and her father.

“Hello Master Marches,” she said.

The visitor was none other than Marches, the mage who signed a contract when Louie first conquered Central City and renad it.

“Greetings, Your Highness!” he responded with a bow and a smile.

“Congratulations to you Marches. You have finally reached the legendary rank.”

Louie spoke casually and without sparing Marches a glance.

From the start of the Dragon God Era till now, fifty years had passed. Additionally, before the era began, Marches had already been following Louie since the establishnt of Dragon City, which was about seventy to eighty years..

“This is all because of your gift, master!”

Marches said respectfully.

He felt that the greatest decision he made in his life was to sign a contract with the great Dragon God in the treasury of the forr Central City. He might have been a slave, but it allowed him to transform his life.

Louie accepted Marches’ reverence because his words were right. The only reason why he was able to reach the legendary rank was because of Louie. Without it, he would still be waddling in diocrity.

By becoming an official of Dragon City and a servant of a God, he was able to secure his place in the strongest nation on the main continent. This alone allowed Marches to fulfill his long-cherished dream of reaching the legendary rank.

Initially, Marches didn’t have the ability to beco a legendary rank mage. The only thing he was good at was making potions, but the current Dragon City was full of talented people that he had raised. There were now countless loyal and powerful mages that served the country. He was even able to raise legendary rank mages.

Just like Marches’ talented disciple, he had also reached legendary rank within fifty years. As a result, Marches’ potion-making skills no longer held any special significance in the Dragon Kingdom.

With his talent and skills, he had attained his current level of power. This was truly his great fortune.

But this was the end for him. Louie was very sure that becoming a legendary rank mage increased Marches’ life span, but with his ability, becoming a demigod would require ten thousand tis more effort.

“Continue to serve the Dragon Kingdom in the future and continue to believe in . When the day you leave cos, I will have a place for you in my kingdom!”

Louie promised him.

Marches was overjoyed and bowed his head, “Thank you for your generosity, my great God!”

Marches also understood his limits and knew that he would never beco a demigod. If he only wanted to extend his life, he could beco a lich, but that was a dangerous process and ca with side effects of its own. Marches did not want to beco that kind of immortal creature, so the only thing he could ask for was the world after death.

Now that he had received the promise of a God, he would also be able to devote the rest of his life to developing the country. Even if he was asked to die now, he wouldn’t care.

In a godless world, people would fear death, but in a world with a God, such fears were trite. They knew that they would be able to live for a long ti in the divine kingdom of God.

Louie smiled faintly and did not say anything more. The world had changed and perhaps in a few hundred years, even Louie would not be able to recognize the Dragon Kingdom. The people he was familiar with might not be there anymore, but this was sothing that gods had to go through. They had to see through the world with a cold eye.

“Aurora, go to your sister. I have instructed her to not have preconceived notions about you. I would rather you two got along with each other than bickered.”

“From now on, you can also be like your sister. Always pray to and ask for an oracle, but you must rember, although gods are omnipotent, you cannot ask them for everything. Gods will only save those who put out effort!”

Marches heard Louie’s words and felt envious. To be able to communicate with God at any ti was a power that only the pope of the church had. This was the good part of being born to a god!

Aurora was also happy, but what she was happy about was not that she had gained the power of oracles, but that she was able to feel her father’s love just like her sister.

“I will face my sister with respect, Father God!”

Aurora bowed like a cheerful little rabbit. She raised her skirt and went to Alexia while Marches also respectfully took his leave.

Louie watched the two leave and his figure also disappeared. No one noticed him and no one witnessed the arrival of God. He was like a floating cloud that was inscrutable to the people and overlooked the world.

……

Outside Dragon City, Louie’s figure appeared on a mountain. In front of him was a lady with golden hair covered with precious tals.

“Danluciel, is there sothing you want to see about?”

The lady in front of him was none other than Danluciel, the demigod who was once the master of the Capital of Wealth and was aiming to beco a god!

“Lord God, I have co to greet you.”

Danluciel did not enter Dragon City. Even if she was a demigod, she would still feel oppressed because demigods did not dare cause trouble in this city at will.

Louie did not think much of it and just looked at her and said, “How is the situation of your ascension?”

“Thank you for your concern, I have reached the critical mont. Although there are also other demigods competing with for the divine authority of wealth, as long as it’s not your will, I would not care about those competitors.”

Danluciel continued, “But there are also gods behind my competitors. I’m afraid that those true gods will personally take action, so I am anxious to see you.”

Louie nodded and smiled, “I already know your intentions. Go ahead and do it boldly, Danluciel! No true god will co to bother you, but your success and failure all depend on your ability!”

After receiving Louie’s assurance, Danluciel exhaled and smiled, “If it’s just a competition with other demigods, then I am very confident.”

“Don’t be too complacent, that’s just making a flag for failure!”

As Louie finished, his figure disappeared.

Louie did not have any thoughts of chatting with Danluciel further. If the other party succeeds in ascending, then they would have a lot of ti to chat in the future. If she failed, then she would only be a passerby in Louie’s life that did not need to be rembered.

“Flag? What’s that?”

Danluciel shook her head in confusion.

At that mont, Louie recalled his incarnations. His continent-sized body transford into his human form. Then, he took a step into the space-ti wormhole.
