“AHHHHHHH—”

“Foreign god!!!”

The sunlight within a radius of a hundred kiloters converged on the mirror. As though Amaterasu herself had turned into a sun, the mirror unleashed a blinding beam of light that cut through Typhon’s body and continued, unabated as it pierced through the sky.

When the divine light of the mirror disappeared, the dark starry sky had once again regained its radiance as the sun blared down. The top brass of many countries hurriedly borrowed satellites and other tools to once again observe Los Angeles.

Only the Indian governnt executives were depressed. Coincidentally, the light that Amaterasu shot into the universe had hit one of their military satellites, turning it into ashes.

When the image of the scene beca clear, everyone beca wide-eyed.

Typhon which had previously flaunted its power had lted into a pool of blood. The snake heads on its body helplessly wailing at the sky. The surroundings of Typhon had lted into nothing and turned into a flat plane.

Typhon’s body seed as if it was struck by thousands of missiles, but unlike before, a cloud of faint white smoke and raging flas seed to be burning its wounds, preventing it from regenerating.

“As expected, we lack an effective ans of dealing with supernatural forces.”

The Arican top brass inside the Pentagon shook their heads repeatedly. They had beaten Typhon to this point before, but they were unable to suppress its powerful regeneration. As a result, their efforts were in vain, but Amaterasu had the power to prevent it from regenerating. After receiving the light beam from the Yata no Kagami, Typhon’s body could no longer reconstitute itself.

Typhon was like a candle that was continuously lting. Only one-third of its body remained as the rest lted into rotten blood that spilled over the earth. After Amaterasu perford this blow, its figure gradually burned and seed to rge back into the sunlight.

“Huuu… Is it over?”

The President of the United States leaned back on his chair as cold sweat covered his whole body.

“Judging from the situation, it should be over.”

The Secretary of State beside him responded.

“Report on the damages to Los Angeles.”

The president forced himself to sit up straight and ask.

It didn’t take long before soone rushed into the room and presented a report, “Mr. President, the army on the frontlines sent in a casualty report. All the suburbs in the southeast of Los Angeles were destroyed. The north was also covered in lava, but as a whole, Los Angeles is preserved. It could be repaired in two months if we start construction now.”

“As for military and civilian casualties… we have estimated there to be more than 10,000. The specific figure is still being confird. This is the greatest tragedy since the founding of the country, and even deadlier than the 9/11 terrorist attack.”

“Economic losses are estimated to be more than 10 billion dollars.”

“In order to prevent the governnt deficit from looking too ugly, I’m afraid the governnt needs a budget cut.”

“……”

Listening to these reports, the president had a headache. There were two groups of experts who were also arguing with each other in front of him. They were like a group of children arguing whether Typhon was stronger or Amaterasu was stronger.

One side said that Amaterasu was stronger because Typhon had beco stronger after taking in the tal canister from the military base. The other side argued that Typhon was stronger because it was hit by the palm of God Taiyi before it fell to the ground.

These people had fantasized about mythical battles in the past, but now, everything was being played in front of them. How could they not be heated up? Japanese mythology’s Amaterasu fought with Greek mythology’s Typhon in Los Angeles, USA. This was simply unfathomable.

If Louie was here, he would be laughing. How could there be any hierarchy between the myths of various nations? There was simply no compatibility between them to judge so. Myths were only adapted to each country’s environnt, history, lifestyle, and other aspects to promote the unity of a nation. The nations only fabricated the most suitable myth for their own nation.

Myths created by people were always full of chaos and inconsistencies particularly when they were written by multiple people.

If modern civilization was one day destroyed, those remaining humans of the new civilization might dig up so heritage of this era. They might even take fictional novels as ‘proof’ of contemporary beliefs.

Louie took advantage of the lack of cohesion and unity between the myths in order to create this confusing drama. No matter how Louie made it up, as long as human beings could find a way to patch the holes, everyone would believe it even if the story was crazy.

“Mr. President, please take a look. We might have found sothing.”

An observer ca and handed over a picture to him.

“This is…”

After seeing the photo, the president’s gaze was frozen, because that sa mirror that Amaterasu had used surprisingly stayed in place after Amaterasu disappeared.

“This is the treasure of our ally. In order to prevent the treasure from being damaged, we hurriedly recovered it. When Japan contacts us with regards to it, we will return the mirror back to them.”

After a pause, the president continued, “However, this mirror is too small. It might not be easy for us to find it, so tell Japan that we will do our best to find it and give them an answer after three days.”

Hearing the president’s shaless words, the others presently gave him a secret thumbs up. As for what would happen in these three days, they were naturally going to study the mirror.

“Right! Typhon’s blood has not dried up yet. Have our people collect it and see if we can find out the secret to Typhon’s near-immortal body.”.

“Yes, sir!”

……

At the Ise Grand Shrine, the Shinto chief priest stood up with a shaky body.

He turned his head to the pri minister and emperor who were waiting not far away, “Amaterasu Omikami has eliminated the great enemy.”

As his words finished, a governnt employee ca to deliver the sa news.

The pri minister and the emperor looked at each other. They were secretly surprised that the priest in front of them knew what happened so far away. He was truly mysterious and unpredictable.

“This case might have been solved, but do not take it lightly. For the ti being, I cannot summon the gods anymore. The fragnt that fell from the star of ons is not the only piece, You should also pay attention to the other fragnts.”

The priest reminded the pri minister and the others.

The pri minister was shocked to hear this. Then it occurred to him that there were other fragnts of Jupiter’s moon out there. One of them beca Typhon, who possessed enough power to destroy human civilization alone, so what about the other pieces?
