I walked upon the beaten path, the doll like humanoids speaking so unknown language that I could sohow understand. Though the only reason I knew that they were speaking a different language was that the movents of their mouths did not match with what they said. When a simple sentence was said it looked as if they were saying sothing completely different. It was like they were trying to say so random nonsense that wouldn't ever be intelligible but ca out as a simple hello and greeting.

While this was weird there was an upside to this, I had expected to have to stay silent while Delta translates as best as she could but with this ability there would be no need for that. Though the downside to this was that we would need to be careful in how we cover our mouths, if we were able to see the anomaly of speech in such a short ti then there was no doubt that eventually they would be able to discover us. They might just think that we were using so sort of spell or so such but the chance of that happening was so low that I wouldn't even count on that in a million years. 'Heh' I laughed to myself, the thought that they would ever believe that we were using so spell to translate was ridiculous. Not to ntion we didn't even know if there were other civilizations or enough diversity that other languages even existed for them.

"Purpose" I heard from in front of , the guard's words breaking from my thoughts as he looked from where he was marking another tick on his paper. I looked up and from what I observed the guard was completely covered in armor, though it wasn't conventional armor that I saw. The armor seed to be made entirely of stone, carved out to fit him. It was weird, the rock wasn't the sa as the wall, I could tell, it didn't have the sa feel to it, but still they were using it for armor, maybe it was good but it just didn't look like it would survive much or even be practical. I couldn't even imagine how much training this guard must have gone through in order to even move in that thing, not to ntion how dexterous he was despite the obvious weight of it.

"Selling and buying" Beside Delta spoke, echoing the sa reasons that we had heard from others and breaking from the observation that I had fallen into.

Again the guard looked down at his paper, a tick being placed before he looked back up to us.

"License?" He held a hand out, the heavy armor clanged as it shifted to allow for his hand to reach out towards us.

"Here" Delta spoke again, a license being placed into his hand. During the ti that we had waited in line we were not idle. The information that we had gathered from eavesdropping and surveillance on Delta's part had allowed us to make a successful forgery of the license needed.

Though we didn't have a carriage like others, that wasn't a problem either because of this curious thing that we had found so of the wealthier ones carrying. It was a storage back that was most likely bigger on the inside than the outside. The reason we knew this was because they had brought out things that would not fit in the bag without visible distortions.

A bag of the sa make as those others were strung upon all of our sides, it made us look especially wealthy.

"You may enter." The guard said, his sudden words breaking from my thoughts. Beside Aoif and Delta started to move towards the gate as the guard followed. A key on his hand unlocked the gate which allowed us entry.

I walked down the bustling streets of the city, the citizens were all going in separate directions. So seed to be buying things from the bazaar and others seed to be walking to various places. It was weird, to go from a realm where barely anyone was near each other to a place where hundreds if not thousands of people went about their day.

I looked at a stall, one that seed to be selling so sort of fruit and walked over to it. A coin that Delta had fabricated in hand as I purchased one of them. With a crunch I bit into it, it tasted strangely like an apple. Even the texture was just like it but it had this weird taste to it that distinguished it from the apples that I would usually eat. It wasn't bad, it just tasted… primal, like it hadn't been properly cultivated.

'Maybe that's what happened, they might not have genetically modified them like the ones back… back on earth.' While thinking of earth I had a disturbing thought. I couldn't call it ho anymore. It was eye opening, even if it was my birthplace, where I had spent the majority of my life it no longer felt like ho. Only a distant mory.

"Did you get one for too?" I heard Aoif ask behind , her hand reached into my own as she pulled closer.

"Yeah" I said, handing her the second fruit that I had bought.

Aoif took it with a smile, her mouth biting into it imdiately while her other pulled into her embrace as we walked further and further into the quant marketplace.

"Aoif" Delta addressed, appearing right next to us. "I'm going to look for so lodgings, are you coming with or staying here to look around more?"

Aoif looked toward before answering, "I'll stay, I want to look around more with Darwin"

A nod was all the answer we got before Delta held out her hand, a bag filled with the local currency in it. Aoif reached out her own hand grabbing it before she placed it in her cloak. After she had done that Aoif returned her hand into mine.

"I'll find you two in approximately two hours"
