Arion was elated that he finally awakened his Aspect, "Darkness...damn...that's aweso. But how are you sure I have Supre Affinity towards it?"
i said with a thinking pose, "Hmmm, I am not 100% sure, but based on how you described, that should be the case. If you had Lesser Affinity, then you might not have even felt that darkness. As for Greater Affinity, you might have felt darkness only on one part of your body, mainly your heart.
"However, for you, the darkness surrounded your whole body, and you were able to feel it really well that you almost beca one with it. That should be a sign of you having at least a Supre Affinity. However, there have been only a very few of them with Supre Affinity in history, so our knowledge regarding it is not that clear."
She continued in a thoughtful tone, "Maybe once we do the Pranic Root test, we will know for sure."
Arion knew what the Pranic Root test was as every aspiring Defier took that test to know which Aspect they had and its respective affinity.
But before all that, he was thinking about the next steps he should take, "How can I use it...wait...how can I fix my legs now? You told once I connect with Prana, you would be able to help ," Arion eagerly asked.
i smiled and said, "Follow ."
Arion eagerly followed her like a child getting enticed by a candy till he reached their room. Even though there was one more free room, Arion and i together used only one room since i always made Arion sleep with her, and from his mories, he found that he liked it.
'I didn't know I was this lucky sigh'
After entering the room, i seed to search through her cupboard for sothing, and finally, she took sothing out in her hand.
As Arion got a good look at it, he was surprised to see a white crystal cube, "You have a Purification Cube? But how? It's very expensive."
A Purification Cube was only a small crystal cube, but it was very expensive, and even if people had the money to buy it doesn't an they could easily buy it.
It was sothing all aspiring Defiers needed since it fastens the process a person has to undergo during the Purification Stage, which was the first step to becoming a Defier.
They had to get rid of all the impurities in the body and make sure the body was ready for the next step to becoming a Defier. One can skip this stage, but they would face certain difficulties later and would have to anyway go through this stage later on if they want to advance in the path of a Defier.
And if one didn't have a Purification Cube, they would have to do it the hard way by spending weeks or even months to slowly revolve the existing Pranic energy inside their body to remove the impurities slowly.
Since there was only a very tiny amount of Pranic energy in a normal body, it would take a very long ti for this simple stage.
But with this Purification Cube, one could do it within weeks or a week in the best case!
There was also another way, and that was to use the Golden Monolith. But one was only allowed a limited ti, and there would be a long queue as well.
i smiled, "So what? I have been saving all these years to buy one of these just in case you need it one day. These cubes are very rare, and it's tough to find one in the market. So, I bought it before it went out of stock. And fortunately, a miracle happened, and this cube would be very useful for you now."
Unknowingly, Arion's eyes glistened as he felt a warmth spreading through his chest. He didn't know whether this was his feeling or because of his mories of i. He was sure of one thingshe definitely cared for him more than he could imagine.
"Sister i...but all your savings" Thinking about the money she had earned all these years, it was surely not a small sum since she had treated lots of people, even so rich ones.
But instead of using that money, she spent it all on a small cube.
i saw through his worries and said with an entrancing smile, "Silly boy, I don't have anything to spend on using the money I earned. So, instead of simply storing all this money, it was worth it to buy this one. Now, take this and achieve your dreams. I am confident that you can do it."
Saying so, i forced the cube into Arion's hand, making him look at the cube with a complicated light.
But then his fist tightened over it as he felt that he shouldn't let i's efforts go to waste and make good use of it and finally set on his path to becoming a Defier.
"Don't worry, Sister i. I will beco a Defier and one day, a Dreadslayer!" Arion said as he exuded calm and focus.
i smiled and kissed his cheeks as she said, "I know you will. But take it easy, don't rush into anything. Simple steps make one reach the heavens."
"Yeah, I know that saying," Arion chuckled with a slight head shake.
"I will then leave you to it. Rember, what you are going to do is cleansing the whole body and attuning yourself with Prana. So, make sure you do it properly as I had taught you before. And no need to skip lunch even if you are undergoing the Purification process. You already look thin, and you can continue it later," i said as she stepped out of the room.
"Sister i, you always feed too much. Trust , once my body recovers, it wouldn't be a problem," Arion chuckled.
i shook her head with a smile and closed the door, leaving Arion alone in the room with the Purification Cube in his hand.
"Phew, finally...this is where my true journey starts" Arion mumbled as he held the Purification Cube with both his hands and started to link with the Prana contained inside the cube.
