Axel went into the bathtub feeling all sleepy. The thing was that he had spent the whole night thinking.

He had a warm bath, brushed his teeth, and wore a very casual outfit.

It was a blue top and black trousers that were made of cotton. He wasn't going on a vacation or graduating out of high school so why should he bother appearing with 'steeze' and being classy?

He had even concluded that he would just go naked. Not that he would appear before Royal Cloak naked but he would not just put on any clothes and just snap his fingers and KABOOM!, he would be silhouetted in the Inferno Hero costu.

He made coffee and quickly gulped it down. As he did so, he rembered he didn't tell 'The Voice' that he had co up with a superhero na.

'Well, next ti,' he thought.

He then rembered that next ti might be a long ti away as 'The Voice' only appeared when there was an important situation.

---

Axel walked down the lobby, looking all smart and almost handso. He had decided that he would be avoiding Rhea for now, in fact, he didn't want to see her.

Reasons?

Well, firstly because it had been a long ti since he spoke to her or had seen her so her seeing him might feel, you know, awkward? And he would have to start explaining his reasons for not seeing her and stuff like that.

Secondly, he might have been offended and he would have to start apologizing when he didn't even do anything wrong (to his understanding).

Well, he decided he would focus on the mission at hand, moreover, Royal Cloak had announced that they would be leaving in less than an hour.

He had been afraid to go on the mission to Monseryan and even though Royal Cloak had assured him that it wasn't too much harm and him even agreeing to go on the journey, he still felt scared, terrified, and not that willing to go.

But 'The Voice' had changed his mind. It had explained what was most important to do and what not to do. Telling him about the Monseryan and the portal and...

The Voice explained things more clearly to him than Royal Cloak who just sounded obscure.

Like he served to obfuscate the true nature of the mission. Axel doubted it anyway. He was sure Royal Cloak wouldn't do that.

He was approaching the door of Royal Cloak's office now. It was just in front of him and almost to it, he quickened his pace, pushing back the urge to run.

Less than six steps to the door, he snapped his fingers and

WHOOSH!

He was now INFERNO BLAZE.

The feeling of the transformation felt soothing and refreshing. He made his facial expression more of a frown now, trying to be heroic.

A single knock on the door and he opened it and entering inside he could see Spinal Edge, Voidbreaker, Mirrorld, Space Knight, and Dan (Electro Sonic Fists).

Axel nodded at them and they responded with a nod. Dan gave him a warm handshake and said in a loud voice:

"My Man!"

That made Axel break character as he smiled.

Royal Cloak stood behind the large screen, the expression on his face grim and looking like soone that was going through a lot.

Axel walked over to him.

"Any new news?" he asked.

"They're almost done with the portal," he said, his voice almost quivering. "In just a matter of ti they'll co here and destroy our worlds that's why I say we act very quickly. We act with swiftness!"

The superheroes all nodded. Their faces expressionless, not knowing how to act or what to do.

Only Axel and Dan exchanged glances, ones that were also indifferent.

Sothing that was:

'Tough stuff.'

Royal Cloak tilted his neck sideways and wanting to say sothing, abruptly stopped and looked at the ceiling.

"Let's go to the teleportation room, where you guys will be sent off. It'll make more sense if I speak there and not here."

They all nodded in the affirmative, not knowing why Royal Cloak was looking at the ceiling...

The ceiling cracked and with insane speed, it cracked and divided with the similitude of a jet, a jet on fire actually.

And then, it happened rather too briskly. Like defying the laws of geotry, the room twisted like blocks, spiralling at an average speed towards the ceiling.

It seed ghastly and for so seconds there they were all appalled with the current situation. Royal Cloak wasn't, he just stood rooted to the spot where he was, not even twitching a part of his body.

It eventually stopped. And for a second there Mirrorld almost puked. Her face contorted into an ugly grimace. She stood by the corner of where they were now and held her stomach, pushing back whatever she wanted to puke back inside.

They were in a circular empty hall now, the walls white and blank. The ceiling was perched high and when Axel stared at it, it looked like that of a do.

The ground was like glass, having no designs and looking blank but beautiful.

A jet-looking airplane stood tall and large at the middle of the place. It was sleek and slick, looking like one of those spaceships in sci-fi movies where the MC enters to go save a planet.

Its edges were angular, you would say pointy. Just standing and looking at it gave one space vibes.

Mirrorld was done with her act of holding down her puke now and she managed to walk forward, getting on her feet.

Axel was still on the ground, trying to get up now as he was feeling woozy. Dan was on his feet, shaking his head sideways to shake off the weariness he was feeling.

Space Knight fell but just for a second or less. The transformation hadn't had any impact on her and she looked unaffected. It seed as though she had been trained for this.

Spinal Edge was on her feet now and Royal Cloak looked at her and then at Mirrorld to whom he waved and said:

"My apologies for the inconvenience."

Mirrorld nodded.

Royal Cloak took that as an apology accepted and now he faced the jet-looking spacecraft and said:

"et Realm Plunger, the device that'll be taking you to Monseryan."
