Axel could barely sleep that night. His mind went over everything he had known throughout the day. Going to Monseryan realm was sure a tough task but thinking about it, it wasn't too much.
Royal cloak had told him that he didn't have to kill all of the Monseryan monsters as they were many. He was even told they each had ranks and classifications. Royal cloak hadn't told him of the ranks of classifications, but had instead given them a device, which, anyti they sensed any of the monsters, the device would scan it and they would know its rank, powers and how strong it was.
Axel was holding a cup of coffee and sitting at the edge of his bed, his mind very occupied. He sipped the coffee tentatively, very slowly that from being so hot, now it was warm.
Being a superhero wasn't easy he had realized. The fun part about his was as far as he was with Royal cloak, he would be getting paid. Not like it was that paying. But he got free food, free clothes, cool gadgets but no single cash. He didn't quite need money anyways, he had nothing to do with them at this point.
He thought about earth. He wouldn't be missing out on much by the way. Considering the fact that the governnt had closed all schools and he was sure his final exams would be proponed at this point.
He needed soone to talk to, soone to tell all his...
He suddenly heard a phosphorescent voice, phosphorescent in the sense that it sounded like pure light. Like an energy on its sound. It sounded glorious to the ears, it sounded srizing!
'[Axel, longest ti]'
Axel's eyes suddenly opened very wide.
It was the voice!
Axel was elated. He had even forgotten all about it, thinking it wouldn't appear again.
Axel decided it was ti to throw so drama, act all childish and all.
"You abandoned ," he said, his face down.
The voice was very soft now:
[I didn't abandon you, I only left you to think and be on your own. If I had been with you and had taught you everything, what makes you a superhero. By the way, I earlier said that I'll summon a group of superheroes that'll co take you in and train you, that is why you're here now]
"But they ca late," Axel said. "They ca after I had been rcilessly beaten by monsters and even arrested by the goddamn governnt."
Axel could feel the voice smiling.
'[Well, at least look on the bright side. It gave you growth and made you feel so things. And now, here, aren't you safe?]'
Axel shook his head sideways and gulped the cup of coffee down his throat like a hungry lion or so wild animals. He slowly dropped the cup on the table and lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling, imagining that the 'Voice' was there.
"Well, I'm not safe," he said. "I'm going to be in danger by tomorrow when I go to the Monseryan sub realm to save the world."
'[Tell about it]' the voice said.
Axel started to explain but just four words into, he paused and turned to look at the cup of coffee, saying:
"Aren't you supposed to know, I an, you're an entity, you know all things."
The voice didn't say a word and when Axel was about to complain about it not saying anything, it said:
'[Well, I had thought your version to be cooler]'
Axel smiled. "You're quite a cheeky fellow aren't you?"
'[Well, at least I still have my sense of humor after all this years]'
Axel laughed.
"Well, what do you think. About going to Monseryan realm."
The voice seed to cogitate about it because it hesitated for so seconds before saying.
'[The monsters in Monseryan realm are tenebrous, dark and cheeky fellows. Well, they all had powers before they were banished there. And so, now, with all the knowledge they had garnered after all this decades. They are more stronger than before. So, I'll say you trust Royal cloak, he is actually trying to save galaxies and even dinsions with this.]
Axel just paused, not saying a word, deeply imrsed in what the voice was saying.
'[You don't have to defeat all the monsters as that will be impossible. The only way to do the work perfectly is to defeat as many monsters as you can and get to the portal, a big stuff actually. Now, your aim is to destroy it]'
"And how do we do that?" Axel asked. "How do destroy the portal."
'[You guys have to explode it and that's where Royal cloak's gadgets co in. You will be given a tiny bomb. It being tiny is just a disguise, a contrast of what it's able to do. Just drop it on the ground, set a tir of about seven seconds, about ti to summon a portal and go into it and...
BOOM!, the portal explodes.]
Axel stroked his beardless chin now.
"So do we kill them?" he asked.
'[You'll kill so alright, but not all. You'll only kill hundreds of them, but they are thousand and imdiately you blow up their invention on world domination. They simply co together, swear at you all and build another one. They'll work for perhaps decades before they build another one again as this took them almost half a century to make.]
Axel furrowed an eyebrow. "Half a century?, wouldn't they die, how do they live up to that?"
'[When they were turned into monsters and sent to Monseryan, they all awakened the immortal rank. Making them immortal]
Axel could only stare at the ceiling in fright now.
"Are you sure I have a chance against them?" he asked.
[35 percent chance] the voice said.
Axel sighed. "Shit."
'[It might take you a day. It might take you a week, it might even take you minutes, or a couple of hours, or even months, or perhaps a year. But just know that, you reawakened your powers for this. You reawakened them to be a superhero and save earth. If you then don't stop this invasion from the monsters. The whole world, earth, Khaos realm, planets and galaxies are at risk. You just have to be a world superhero! and save the world!]
