When the black mist spoke, countless ferocious figures erged from within the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities.
In their eyes, Xu Zimo had already beco nothing more than blood food.
A howling wind rose around him.
As the buzzing sounds filled the air, all those figures charged forward at once.
“Die,” Xu Zimo said calmly, sweeping his hand outward.
Space twisted at his gesture. Terrifying power surged as if piercing through the cosmos itself.
All the figures rushing in from every direction were instantly annihilated by that overwhelming force.
“Blood Prison Thirteen Cities,” Xu Zimo sneered.
“Send soone who can actually talk. Co and speak with .”
Xu Zimo’s thods were clearly too domineering. The surrounding figures paused for a mont.
“No wonder you dared to co in. So you do have a bit of skill,” a hoarse voice said.
Imdiately after, the black fog around them thickened even further.
From within the fog, a blood-colored figure slowly walked out.
It was a burly man wearing armor, his physique massive and imposing.
Heavy, oppressive energy radiated from him. His surging blood mist rumbled like thunder, suppressing the void itself.
The man looked at Xu Zimo.
He slowly raised his hand and beckoned. “Co. Beat , and I’ll take you to see the Prison Lord.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the man charged forward like an enraged bull.
His entire body seed to roar as he crashed straight ahead.
Xu Zimo shifted slightly to the side, dodging the blow.
With a thunderous crash, the man slamd into a nearby hall, unstoppable in montum.
The entire structure collapsed, reduced to ruins.
The man turned around, his montum unbroken, and charged again.
This ti, Xu Zimo did not dodge.
He gripped Shadow Tyrant, eager to test it.
As the man closed in, Xu Zimo slashed downward.
Boom.
The man was split cleanly in two and exploded into a cloud of blood mist.
At that mont, Xu Zimo frowned slightly.
He realized the man was not dead.
The blood mist rapidly retreated and reassembled at a distance, reforming the man’s body.
It was as if he had been resurrected.
Xu Zimo sensed a strange power at work.
The resurrected man looked pale, and fear flickered in his eyes as he looked at Xu Zimo.
He had just died once. If not for the peculiar nature of the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities, he would have truly perished.
“Co here and let cut you a few more tis,” Xu Zimo said with interest.
“This resurrection trick is sowhat interesting.”
“Madman,” the man cursed shakily, still shaken.
Xu Zimo could tell what was happening.
The man’s resurrection was not so miraculous ability.
Strictly speaking, the man was already dead.
What existed now was rely a spirit body ford by a special power.
Xu Zimo carefully sensed the surroundings.
This was the peculiarity of the Mirage Tides Heaven.
There were no living people here. Only the dead could enter.
All the beings within the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities were essentially spirit entities.
As for the nature of this special power, Xu Zimo had not yet fully grasped it.
But one thing was certain. This power only worked within the Mirage Tides Heaven and was useless elsewhere.
“Who exactly are you?” the man stared at Xu Zimo, extrely wary.
“What, are you the boss here?” Xu Zimo asked.
“Of course not. The Prison Lord is the true ruler,” the man shook his head hurriedly.
“You want to see the Prison Lord?”
“I’m going to Jade Court. I ca here to ask for directions,” Xu Zimo replied.
“If you know the way, I don’t even need to see him.”
“Jade Court?” The man burst into laughter.
“Once you enter the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities, you think you can still leave?
“You’re dreaming.”
“Looks like I didn’t kill you enough just now,” Xu Zimo narrowed his eyes.
The man’s laughter abruptly stopped.
“The Prison Lord isn’t soone anyone can et.”
“If I destroy the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities, will I get to et him then?” Xu Zimo asked calmly.
He did not know the rules of the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities, nor did he care to know them.
He had no interest in wasting ti here.
What are rules?
They exist to be broken.
Do the strong need to follow rules?
Rules are made for the weak.
“You do have so skill, but you’re ignorant of the imnsity of heaven and earth. Destroy our Blood Prison Thirteen Cities?” the man scoffed.
“Unless hell itself descends, that proves impossible.”
“Hell? You call the depths of the Mirage Tides Heaven hell?” Xu Zimo smiled.
“Even hell wouldn’t necessarily be more terrifying than .”
As his words fell, a loud boom echoed.
Xu Zimo vanished from where he stood.
In the next instant, he appeared before the man, grabbing him by the throat and lifting him into the air.
“I know you can resurrect. Want to gamble on this? I’ll make it so you can’t even be a ghost.”
At this mont, Xu Zimo’s aura was vicious and overwhelming.
His terrifying presence crushed down like collapsing mountains, suppressing the man so completely he could barely speak.
The man stared at Xu Zimo.
After a long silence, he finally said, “What do you want?”
“Take to see this so-called Prison Lord,” Xu Zimo replied.
“My rank is too low. I can’t even et the Prison Lord,” the man explained anxiously.
“You just need to lead the way,” Xu Zimo said, waving his hand.
He tossed the man aside.
The man coughed violently a few tis, then stood up and cautiously began leading the way.
The Blood Prison Thirteen Cities consisted of thirteen interconnected cities.
The city Xu Zimo currently stood in was Blood Prison First City.
It was also the main city among the thirteen, located at the very core.
Each city had a City Sovereign, and all City Sovereigns answered to the Prison Lord.
It could be said that the Prison Lord was sent by the Mirage Tides Heaven to oversee the Thirteen Cities.
Every Prison Lord had ties to hell itself.
As the man carefully led the way, Xu Zimo could feel nurous gazes, faint yet persistent, landing on him.
From the mont he entered the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities, he had been watched.
Now, more and more figures were gathering in the shadows.
They were waiting for an opportunity.
An opportunity to kill Xu Zimo in a single decisive strike.
A foul wind swept through the city, thick with the stench of blood.
At the end of the street, Xu Zimo began to see corpses.
Or rather, skeletons.
Bones lay scattered across the ground, all flesh long since devoured.
“These are all people who trespassed into the Blood Prison Thirteen Cities,” the man explained.
Perhaps he was trying to intimidate Xu Zimo.
“Keep moving,” Xu Zimo said coldly.
With corpses still fresh and the air heavy with bloodshed, more and more figures gathered around them.
Yet not a single one dared to strike first.
These spirit entities were extrely perceptive. They could sense Xu Zimo’s terrifying strength.
His blood energy burned like a furnace, like a blazing sun illuminating the heavens.
It was so overwhelming that no spirit dared to act rashly.
They continued forward like this until they finally stopped in front of a vast plaza.
