Leon fell into a state of thinking. Multiple thoughts curling inside his mind.

’What should I na him? It should be worthy of a knight... or else he’ll get disappointed.’

A small sigh escaped through his mouth as his blade remained on the soul’s shoulder.

His eyes scanned the soul completely. ’He looks firm, and calm... and his will remains the sa after ages... I think I finally got it.’

"I give you the na Darian Ashencrest. Serve as my aide, and I will ensure your peace." He said, eyes remained firm.

Darian’s posture strengthened, his back tightened as he said. "I will serve you as my lord from this day forward. Please take under your wing."

Before they could do anything else, the body of Darian started to light up.

Dark purple mana surged over his body, flowing through him before settling into form. The waves hardened into armor, and a knight’s sword appeared at his waist.

Leon’s eyes widened slightly as he read the entries. ’What? He has two goals, one is visible, and one isn’t... also, what’s wrong with those stats? That’s too overpowered...’

’He’s in a weakened state on top of that... It’s not important for now.’

His gaze shifted towards Darian.

Darian remained leaning forward on his knee, gaze fixed on the ground.

’Is he going to stay like that until I give the command?’

He sighed, his voice ca low. "Get up, Darian."

"Don’t stay there for too long."

"Yes, my lord." Darian’s voice rang through the air as he got up.

His hand shifted to the hilt’s top, resting there.

Only Darian and Leon remained inside the camp, Draviel and Sylphaine had already returned.

"Any orders for , my lord?" Darian said, looking into the eyes of Leon.

Leon shook his head lightly. "No, for now, return to the shadow realm." He said.

Darian gave a polite nod as his body started getting covered by purple waves.

The mont the waves disappeared, he wasn’t there anymore.

A small sigh escaped through Leon’s mouth as he muttered. "I should go and reunite with the rest of them now... or questions might arise."

Darian reached inside the shadow realm.

He noticed that around him, everything was filled with darkness, the ground was completely covered by black liquid.

"It’s... huge."

He crossed his arms and nodded. "As expected from my master." He said.

But before he could think of doing anything else, a trendous amount of pressure fell on his soul.

His soul shook, started to tremble as he fell on his knees.

He unsheathed the sword and stomped on the ground as he used it to maintain his posture.

"Whoever you are, show yourself." He said, his voice ca out roaring.

A voice filled the air. "Your pride might get you killed here, you’re not alone."

Darian gritted his teeth as he pushed himself back up.

All the muscles of his body started to ache, screaming at him to give up.

He refused to surrender, pushed himself back up as his grip on the sword tightened.

Draviel appeared in front of Darian, flickering once before he fully materialized.

His gaze remained calm, unwavering, fixed on Darian.

A faint smile tucked his lips. "You’re not that bad, knight?" He said, crossing his arms.

Darian’s teeth gritted. "W-what do you want?" He asked, looking right into the eyes of Draviel.

The trendous pressure that Draviel was exerting started to get calr, and then it disappeared completely.

"You can be a summon of his." He said.

"Don’t disturb my peace, knight."

After saying his words, he vanished into the thin air, leaving just his afterimage behind.

Darian fell on his knees, grip loosening as the sword fell next to him.

Splashes of black liquid fell on his clothes.

His body trembled, breathing got ragged as he muttered. "T-That pressure... that’s sothing which I felt in the presence of Dragon King."

His hand raised as he wiped the sweat from his.

Leon had now re-grouped with the others once again.

They were in the camp, which looked like dorms for Moon Knight commanders.

Aren was lying down on the bed, arms crossed under head.

"Man... I’m tired as hell. When will this mission be completed? I want to rest." He said, groaning lightly.

"Don’t act like a kid, Aren," Owen said, as he kept his hand on Aren’s shoulder.

A scream escaped Aren’s mouth. "AHHH!!! YOU FUCKER, YOU WOULD HAVE GIVEN A HEART ATTACK!!!"

Kade scoffed lightly.

Zane chuckled as he looked at them.

Leon was sitting in the corner, eyes closed.

He was lost in his own thoughts.

’I have to complete this mission and start the level grind... I’m still too weak.’
