Leon was still standing there, his eyes closed as his arms remained crossed next to his chest.

He opened one of his eyes and looked at the knight which just been intimidated by the presence of Alaric.

That knight was still on the ground, his eyes were completely widened, his mouth was open slightly as saliva ca outside through it in the form of foam.

"Tch... pathetic," Leon muttered under his breath.

’He was trying to test my skills when his own are lacking to that extent?’

He sighed slightly, closed his eyes once again.

’Draviel,’

Draviel’s voice rang inside his head instantly. "What do you want, kid?" His voice is deep.

’If you were to fight Alaric in your current state, would you be able to defeat him?’

"Defeat? I’ll obliterate that re mortal from existence." Draviel said, his voice was cold.

’Did you say that just to boost your ego, or is it actually the truth?’

"I don’t have to boost my own ego," Draviel’s words paused.

But then continued once again. "I didn’t exaggerate about anything. That human commander is on a lower swordmaster’s level, he’ll die within thirty seconds." He said.

A faint smirk crept on Leon’s lips, voice ca out low. "I don’t have to think twice before taking matters into my hands now."

Multiple voices erupted from the front gate, and people entered through the gate.

Leon’s gaze shifted towards the gate. He noticed that Alaric was coming alongside with eight other people.

And the one who was leading them was a woman.

’Who are they all? Players?’

Before he could even think about doing anything else, soone kept their hand on his shoulder from behind.

His head turned slightly as his gaze fell on a man who was standing behind him.

His voice ca out loud, cheerful. "What are you doing here, Ragnar?" The man asked.

"Aren? You here?" Leon said.

Aren gave a nod, eyes closed slightly as he crossed his arms next to his chest and said. "I told you about why I ca to this city in the first place, right?"

Leon nodded once, eyes remained fixed on Aren’s face.

Aren continued talking, his voice was as loud as ever. "This was the place where I had to co and et up with other mbers of my guild." He said.

Leon’s gaze shifted towards the remaining mbers of his guild who were still next to Alaric.

’So, they all are rankers, huh?’

Alaric looked towards Leon, his voice ca out loud. "You there?"

Leon’s gaze shifted towards him, scanning him down.

’Why is he calling for now?’

He continued. "Co here, I want you to et the other rcenaries."

After saying that, his gaze shifted to Aria once again, began talking to her.

Leon started walking towards them, his steps were steady. Alaric also started following behind his trail, sticking right behind him.

When they reached there, Alaric looked towards Leon, and he said.

"You’ll work under her," He said as he pointed his thumb towards Aria.

"You rcenaries discuss your stuff among yourselves. I’ll take my leave now." He said, and then started walking towards the main tent.

Four knights who ca alongside him also started following behind him.

Aria looked at Leon. She didn’t say anything for a while, but then her voice ca firm. "You also got the quest about the factions?" She asked, eyes fixed on Leon’s face.

He simply nodded once.

"Very well, you can work with us then," She said, but then took a small pause in her words.

She continued. "I’m Aria, guild leader of Aetherfall." She said as she extended her hand forward towards Leon, a small warm smile was on her face.

"I’m Ragnar, a Dark Mage." He said, extending his hand forward as he grabbed her hand and shook it slightly.

"Hope we get along, and work to our finest." Both of them said in unison.

Her gaze then shifted towards Aren, who was standing just a foot behind Leon.

A curious look appeared on her face, voice ca firm. "Aren, do you know Leon from before?" She asked.

He smiled brightly as he took one step forward and kept his arm on Leon’s shoulder, voice of his voice was cheerful. "Yes, we are both friends." He said.

She chuckled lightly and then said. "It’s a good thing," She took a small pause and then continued, "I want you to introduce our guild mbers to him."

Aren’s expressions started to dull, his eye twitched as a bead of sweat ford on his temple. "Ugh.. that’s such a difficult task, Aria." He said.

She shrugged slightly, her voice ca low. "You have to do it, you don’t have any other choice." She said as she started walking towards the main tent.

After she left, Aren turned towards the rest of the guild and then said. "I’ll introduce you to them now."

He pointed towards the first mber, he was a man who had broad shoulders, height above six feet, body of his body was lean, yet muscular. His hair was dark grey in colour.

"This is Rex, he is a damage dealer of our guild," Aren said.

Rex looked at Leon, and he gave a small smile to him.

Leon also passed a smile back to him.

Then he pointed towards four mbers who were standing next to each other.

One of them stood around the height of five feet eight, his hair was red, and a sword was hanging at his waist.

The second man had blue-coloured hair and a well-balanced build. His eyes were sharp, scanning everything around him.

The third was well-built, a spear was clinging to his back, strapped tightly with a rope so it wouldn’t fall. His dark blue hair was tied behind his head.

The last mber of the four was a boy who was barely five feet six. His fra was frail, and a staff rested in his hands.

Aren’s voice ca loud. "The one with the spear is Kade, the one who is holding the staff is the youngest here, and his na is Vark."

Kade looked at Leon, walked towards him and kept his hand on Leon’s shoulder and said. "Let’s work together from now onwards."

Leon just nodded once and then said. "Yes, let’s cooperate."

Vark’s voice ca low. "Don’t be a burden on us, that’s all I have to say."

Leon didn’t say anything to him, but gave a small nod.

He took a small pause, but then continued. "The one who has a sword next to his waist is Bran, and the one with a dangerous look on his face is Owen."

Owen waved his hand slightly towards Leon, greeting him.

Leon returned his gesture by giving him a small smile, and he also waved once to him.

Bran bowed lightly forward, his voice ca out a bit shaky. "H-hello... nice to et you, I’m Bran." He said.

Leon’s voice ca low, but steady. "I’m Ragnar, it’s nice to et you too."
