The knight tried to mock Leon, mocking him about his lean body.

A small sigh escaped through his mouth, ignoring the guy as if he didn’t even exist.

The knight got a bit enraged as a vein popped out through his neck, clenched his fists, and gritted his teeth.

His voice ca loud, and anger was clearly audible through his tone. "rcenary, if you have that kind of attitude, then fix that. We don’t want people with attitudes like you." He said.

Leon didn’t pay any kind of attention to him, closed his eyes as he crossed his arms next to his chest.

A man’s voice ca out loud from afar. Both the knight and Leon turned their gazes towards him.

The man walked toward them, his steps were steady. His blond hair caught the light. And his blue eyes flowed like a magnificent river. His well-built physique spoke of his discipline, and he appeared to be in his late twenties. A battle scar was on his right eye, marking it completely.

Four knights followed closely at his sides, their presence silent yet imposing.

When the man reached near both of them, he looked at them with his sharp gaze. His gaze then shifted to Leon, scanning him briefly.

His face looked calm, like that of a still river, his lips parted slightly as he said. "What’s this commotion about?" Eyes fixed on the knight who was standing near Leon.

When he spoke, shockwaves escaped through his mouth, imposing his presence on the surroundings.

His aura escaped through his body, and the waves of it were coating his body equally.

Leon’s teeth gritted slightly, but he was able to maintain his calm deanour by using his necromancer traits.

’This guy.... He’s not sothing less than a monster.’

The knight who was trying to bicker with Leon was now on the ground, struggling to catch his breath. His face was filled with sweat, and his body was trembling in fear.

That man’s eyes shifted towards the knight, then back at Leon.

His lips parted slightly, and a faint smirk crept up on his lips. "Who are you?"

Leon’s eyes t with the man’s eyes, and his voice ca firm. "I’m Ragnar, a rcenary."

"You were trying to cause a commotion in my camp while being a re rcenary?" He said, using his aura to impose his presence over Leon.

But his aura didn’t work on Leon. He remained standing there comfortably as if nothing had happened just now.

That man didn’t say anything and turned back towards the main tent, which was huge to the level that it could fit a hundred n comfortably.

One of the guard knights ca running towards him as his voice ca out loud, almost a scream. "Commander Alaric, the rcenaries are here." He said.

He gave one last look to Leon as he started walking towards the front gate, his eyes steady.

Alaric stood in front of the gate, his arms crossed next to his chest, eyes fixed at the front.

There was no one in sight, just a bunch of trees and nothing else. But then people started to appear; it was a whole group of eight people.

All of them were walking towards the camp in unison, each mber of the group was equipped with good equipnt.

Leading them was a woman who appeared to be in her early twenties. Her black hair frad her face in perfect symtry, matching perfectly with her eyes of the sa deep shade of black.

She wore dark clothing that clung to her form, and a sword rested next to her waist, ready to be drawn at any mont.

They all reached in front of the main gate. That woman ca forward, looking directly into the eyes of Alaric.

Alaric’s gaze fell on her, the height difference between them was enormous.

His voice ca steady, authority inside it. "You better not disappoint us." He said.

That woman didn’t say anything for a while, but then she extended her hand forward and said. "I’m asking the sa thing from you, too, Commander Alaric."

A huge smirk appeared on his face, and then he laughed as he extended his hand forward and grabbed her hand.

He shook her hand and said. "I always liked the guts of you, Aria."

She simply scoffed and said. "You flatter , Alaric." A smirk tucked up on her lips.

As they both were exchanging words between themselves, soone ca from behind Aria.

That was a man who had gauntlets on both his hands, a huge grin on his lips, and his energy seed exponential.

He kept his hands on the shoulders of Aria and peeked from her side, giving a smile to Alaric as he said. "Hey, old man." His voice was loud, almost barbaric.

Alaric’s expression changed, and his face beca calm. "This brat."

Aria raised her hand as she kept it on the man’s head and pressed him back. "Don’t do that here, Aren."

Her words paused, and then continued. "You don’t have to create a scene in here." She said, her voice low but with enough authority in it.

He backed up from her side and also withdrew his hands, standing beside her as his hands rested behind his head.

"You’re no fun, guild leader." He said, pouting slightly.

Soone else ca from behind as he kept his hand on Aren’s shoulder and said deeply. "Don’t make it too difficult for her, Aren."

Aren’s gaze shifted to his face, looking at him from his side eye. "You don’t have to budge in always, Rex."

Before they could converse any further, she raised her hand in the air and waved it forward.

The rest of her squad followed behind her as they all entered the camp.
