"You’re finally here."

Paul walked in, unsure what was currently happening. He could see two people seated before his father; however, he still couldn’t see their faces.

It was unusual for his father to call him into his office, especially when he was eting with potential clients. He didn’t like to be distracted. So, as Paul walked in, he had dozens of questions on his mind.

However, sure enough, his eyes landed on the two small vials containing red liquid. Imdiately, he staggered in his tracks, freezing for a short mont. He still rembered vividly the last ti he had seen those items. It was back in that strange shop in the middle of nowhere.

’Don’t tell ...’

He tried to look at the back of their heads; however, he couldn’t recall what they looked like.

"Son. Those two told that you could help verify whether what they are saying is true."

Paul finally walked up as he glanced to his left toward Lucius, who just smiled back at him.

"AH!"

Paul jumped back in surprise.

"Why are you here?!"

Never in a million years would he have imagined that Lucius would have co to the Smith Tower to et with his father.

’Don’t tell that they are trying to sell those products to the rest of the world?’ Paul shook his head.

It was already so expensive. There was no way that normal people would be buying those things, whatever the effects might be. $50,000 for a perfu? Those two were batshit crazy!

"Does that perfu really attract other won with only a sll?"

Paul could only shake his head as he vividly rembered what happened back then when he had put on that perfu.

He slowly nodded.

"It’s definitely true. The mont I put it on, I had dozens of won approaching , going as far as wanting to marry and have kids. Their minds even seed influenced by the perfu. It was crazy; I even had to ask for their help to get out of the situation. The perfu’s effect only wore off after a whole day."

Axel’s eyes widened at the words from his son.

He had never expected it to be true. However, that changed everything.

"How much do you sell each?"

Axel didn’t even bother to ask about the Love Potion, as if the Erotic Perfu was real. There was a good chance that the other invention was also real.

Paul began laughing in the back as Lucius opened his mouth.

’System... is there a way to sell the items for a cheaper price outside of the store?’ Lucius asked before answering, as he knew that if he were to tell the prices right now... there was a chance that he would be laughed out.

-Ding!

[You cannot change the prices of the items no matter what.]

Lucius shook his head as he realized he had no chance.

"The perfu is $50,000 and the Love Potion is $10,000."

"W-What?" He blinked a few tis. "I must have heard that wrong. Could you repeat that, please?"

"No, you heard right. Those are the prices."

Axel, who thought he had been holding onto a gold mine, realized that it was crumbling apart.

"What’s the basis behind the prices? How much does it cost for you to make one of those perfus?"

Lucius had no idea about the price of those items since the system provided them. However, he could imagine that the price was quite high overall. But because of that response, he didn’t know what to say. Should he tell the truth or lie?

After all, Axel had signed the Soul Contract. No matter what was said here, he would never be able to tell a single soul about it. Otherwise, he would die instantly.

"The prices are in line with the cost of production and cannot be changed under any circumstances."

"They can’t be changed no matter what?!" Axel shook his head. "If we are to beco partners, I’ll have to learn more about the cost and the production thod. Still, based on the price, I can imagine that those inventions would only be sold to high society."

Axel frowned slightly. ’If only the price were cheaper... I could have really beco the richest man on Earth.’

Axel quickly got back to the situation after thinking about this, as he knew that those thoughts were for later. He still hadn’t made a deal about it.

"How much do you want?"

That was the question that Lucius had been waiting for, and he had prepared a little trick. One that was sure to anger Axel; however, it would be worth it to get more out of this old man.

"I can sell the recipe to you in exchange for 50% of all sales."

The recipe was useless in this scenario. After all, the ingredients could only be found in the Multiverse General Store. They couldn’t be found in this world.

"Mhm... that’s not a bad offer."

Axel didn’t need to think much as he kept a straight face.

’Is this guy stupid? He could have asked for so much more...’

Axel snapped his fingers as soone else entered the office.

"Please draft a contract so that we can finalize this deal."

However, Lucius had already prepared everything. He pulled out the contract from his jacket and slid it across the table.

"I already prepared the contract in advance."

With that said, Lucius also slid a pen across the table, waiting for the old man to sign. However, right as he was about to, his head raised slightly...

’Sothing feels... too easy for so reason.’

"Can I see the ingredient list before I sign this?" Axel suddenly asked.

Lucius frowned. However, he had anticipated such a question.

"No. That’s not an option. Either you sign this deal or you will lose out on it, and we will go see one of your competitors."

Axel gritted his teeth as he knew that Lucius wasn’t bluffing. He wasn’t their only option. This opportunity was one of a kind, and forming a partnership so early could only be beneficial down the road.

Axel signed the contract, and Lucius smirked as he did so. He had just managed to scam a billionaire.

’Not bad.’

"Now, can I please have the list of ingredients?"

Lucius pulled out the pieces of paper, and Axel imdiately frowned as he began reading.

"W-What the hell is this?! I-Is this a joke to you?" He slamd his fist on the table. "Phoenix Hair, Minotaur Blood?! Those things don’t even exist in the first place!"
