While Lucius completely ignored the thoughts going through Aphrodite’s mind, he wouldn’t let anyone disrespect one of his special employees. After all, if he did, it just showed that he was weak.
As Lucius began walking closer to Alex, his guards also got closer to him. However, Lucius only smiled at them.
He couldn’t care less about their scary builds. They were not nearly as strong as him, especially since he had engraved Alicia. None of them seed scary to him. They looked almost pathetic to his eyes, weak little humans trying to fight against the future king.
’I could literally injure the two of you with a flick of my fingers...’ Lucius thought as he did not want to use the levitation power in public yet.
He knew that by using it here, then he was bound to have a lot of people talking about it.
"Please stop walking toward him. If you are deed as a threat, you will be accordingly."
Lucius almost wanted to see them try. However, while he wanted to punish Alex for his words. He also knew that it wouldn’t be a wise decision based on his next eting. Going against his son was not sothing very smart...
’Hm... my revenge will have to wait, it seems.’
Lucius was level headed.
However, all that changed.
"That’s right go walk back in the arms of that slut! Little bitch!"
Lucius just grinned as that now gave him a good reason to give that little shit a very good beating. He didn’t care anymore if his deal fell through there were always more companies that he could contact.
Lucius walked before the guards, who imdiately ford a wall that seed with a glance unable to break through. However, that was for normal humans, which was not sothing that Lucius was any longer.
"Please don’t force us to hurt you," the guards said.
Lucius could see in their eyes that they didn’t agree with the words Alex used. They could see that they were sorry. However, they had to do their job no matter what. They had no other choice, they had to make money one way or another, even if it was by protecting evil n.
Who were they to judge? That was not part of their job.
"Do you need help~?" Aphrodite asked a few ters behind.
However, Lucius just shook his head as he began to look up, right into the eyes of the two guards.
"If you don’t move from my path in the next five seconds. You’ll regret it."
He knew that they were only doing their job, but so was he. He would not allow anyone to disrespect him in such a way, not in public nor in private.
Lucius was no longer the pleb from a few weeks ago. He had completely changed.
His gaze was ice cold. However, it couldn’t be taken seriously based on his size.
The guards couldn’t help but smirk slightly at his words. There was no way that he would ever be able to do the slightest damage to the two of them. At least, that’s what they believed.
While the guards were confident in their abilities, Alex who was behind them was on the verge of shitting his pants.
"D-Deal with him! H-He threatened !" He shouted, his voice trembling, staggering with every word.
Lucius smirked, his gaze lowering eting Alex’s gaze.
"Don’t worry. I don’t need to threaten you."
The guards could feel that Lucius was about to attack them, so they acted first. They tried to grab Lucius as they each held one of his arms.
Lucius hadn’t even tried to dodge.
He would show everyone present that they could not deal with him.
"Don’t resist and follow us," one of the guards said as he tried to move Lucius’s arms to his back.
However, as he did so... sothing strange happened.
He could not move his arm no matter what he tried. It was as if it was stuck in place.
’How is this possible?’ The man thought as he began putting more and more pressure and strength onto the arm.
But nothing changed.
The other guard also tried the sa, but it wouldn’t change.
No matter how much pressure they would put onto his arms. They simply wouldn’t move. However, what was even crazier was that Lucius was not even trying his best. The strength he felt onto his arms was easily manageable. In fact, even he was surprised by the gap in strength.
’Am I really that strong now?’ Lucius thought with a smirk as he decided to start applying so force of his own.
His biceps hardened as he brought his arms forward, surprising both guards who simply couldn’t contain Lucius.
"W-What are you guys doing?!" Alex shouted in the back as tears began to form in the corner of his eyes.
He could see the gaze in Lucius’s eyes and he did not want to stay around for much longer. He knew just how badly things could end if he did. The things he had said were only because there were people to protect him.
Still, as all hope seed lost, there was still one card for him to play.
"You two must be here to see my father, right?" He began laughing as Lucius brought both his guards to their knees.
"W-What would happen if I told him about this ruckus? Do you really think that he would be open to listening to the two of you?" He continued to smile as he saw the hesitation in Lucius’s steps. He was right. There was still a way out of this situation. "Everyone saw what you just did. You tried to attack ! Your reputation is over! OVER!"
Alex began shouting as Lucius began walking in his direction again with a smirk.
"I thought you were about to say sothing smart... finally. But no, you really are just plainly stupid."
Then, Lucius raised his hand but then the sound of the elevator resounded across the lobby and out of it ca out a decently old man.
However, this old man still looked very healthy and much younger than his age.
This man was the CEO of the Smiths.
