"Stop!"

The Crimson reaches his hand in desperation.

"Don’t hurt her!"

Blaze releases his grasp, the misery pressing on the Harpist’s soul subsides.

"How are you doing this?"

The Crimson says.

Blaze doesn’t answer. He walks slowly around the Crimson, keeping a safe distance to avoid being caught with his explosive speed.

Yellow energy pours out from the Brutalist and the Runner, two fiery souls flying into Blaze’s hand.

Three fresh souls are now within his grasp, the souls of the A-Force mbers, comrades of the Crimson.

The Swordmaster hears a screeching noise inside his ears.

The noise that haunts him for a long, long ti.

The sound of soul-snatching.

He opens his eyes wide. His eyeballs turn completely black with red irises.

Black tentacles grow inside the hole in the Swordmaster’s stomach. They connect with each other, slowly turning into fresh new flesh and healing its wound.

The Swordmaster grabs his sword and uses it as a cane to stand up.

In his vision, the Wraith stands there with charcoal-black smoke swirling around his cloak. Inside his hand is the bright light of the soul that the Swordmaster knows very well.

He gathers all his remaining strength to walk over to Crimson, standing beside him side by side.

"Captain..."

"Yeah. I know."

Blaze tilts his head slightly, his eyes lighting up in yellow. Two rays of light shoot out from his irises, engraving the slave symbol onto these three souls and acquiring the properties of their original bodies.

Then he opens his palm for the three souls to escape and turns into three transparent figures on the ground.

The Harpist, the Brutalist, and the Runner.

The Crimson reaches his shaky hand to grab the Harpist’s hand, but all he can touch is the cold, hard ground.

The Crimson clenches his fist tightly. Silent rage fills his heart.

"What are you, Wraith?"

The Swordmaster says.

"Hmmm? It seems like you know sothing."

In contrast to the Crimson, the Swordmaster is extrely calm at this mont. He is startled when he sees Blaze could snatch those souls, but he is not surprised.

"Humans can’t ddle with souls. That is the rule."

"Is that so?"

The Crimson has finally cald down. His rage disappears, and the energy that pushes him to evolve is also gone.

He stands up to face Blaze.

"Release them!"

"Why should I? Give a reason, Crimson."

Blaze answers calmly. He takes out the Destruction Wand and aims it at the souls.

"Don’t you dare!"

The red aura bursts out from the Crimson again. But the Swordmaster reaches out and stops him.

The Swordmaster shakes his head.

The Crimson breathes in deeply, trying to maintain his composure.

The Swordmaster removes his helt and throws it on the ground, revealing his long white hair that reaches his shoulders.

"Tell your price, Wraith.

What do you want in exchange for our allies’ souls?"

Blaze doesn’t answer him. Instead, purple energy pours out from under his cloak to form three bodies on the ground.

He is using the power of Genesis Legion to make three normal clones.

[Please na your new clones!]

"The Harpist, the Brutalist, and the Runner."

Blaze says.

The two remaining A-Force frown. They don’t understand why the Wraith just calls their allies’ code nas. But they soon learn the reason why.

The sparkling purple power soon reveals new bodies of their allies.

They are completely naked, lying on the ground.

These bodies look exactly like their friends’ original bodies.

The Swordmaster can’t say it for sure, but the Crimson can confirm that the new body of the Harpist is an exact copy.

[New clones have been registered]

Then Blaze flicks his hand, activating the Hidden Power Soul Bound. The three souls on the ground fly over to their respective bodies and fuse into one.

The Crimson lost his patience. He thinks he knows what is happening, but he doesn’t want to disappoint himself.

His heart falls into the deep, dark cave of hatred, but suddenly gets pulled back to the bright sky again.

The Crimson quickly walks over to the Harpist, checking her vitals.

She is alive. Her eyelids tremble slightly before fully opening.

"Thomas De Gea... Are we eting in heaven right now?"

The Crimson lets out an ugly laugh. The laugh mixes with a relief cry from his throat. He sheds a single tear before hiding it away.

"You’re alive, Geri! You’re alive! We aren’t in heaven. We’re still alive."

The Crimson touches her cheek lightly. So light that it almost seems like he’s afraid his tender touch will completely break her apart.

The Brutalist and the Runner also wake up and are greeted by the Swordmaster.

"Welco back, brothers." The Swordmaster says.

"How am I still alive?"

The Runner looks at his fresh new body, touching every part of it to make sure it’s alright. This body is no different from his own. It is in an even better condition, as all his injuries from the past are nowhere to be found.

The Brutalist reacts the sa, flexing his biceps. His muscles regain their flexibility. The trait that only existed before he Altered himself and took all those drugs.

He mutters under his breath, "What is going on..."

Blaze claps his hand. This ordinary noise sounds like thunder in the ears of the A-Force mbers, pulling them back from their short, happy reunion to the harsh reality.

In front of them is still standing a being that they cannot comprehend.

They thought the Wraith was only a rogue A-Rank Awakened, but now he is more than that.

He basically resurrected all their dead mbers with a flick of his hand.

"I am kind. That is why I’ll show you what you are going to get from this deal.

But all magic cos at a price."

Inside Blaze’s hand now appears a golden scroll. He opens it up with one swift motion and lets them all see the content on the paper.

It is mostly empty at the mont, only the signing parts for the provider and the accepted parties are visible.

"This is a Celestial Contract. If you all agree to beco my servants from now on, I’ll let you go free.

The Brutalist, the Runner, and the Harpist may live on with the bodies I have provided.

If you don’t agree, well... I think you all know what ’s going to happen."

"Servant..."

The Harpist loses all the color in her face. She has bright pink hair and a perfectly curving body.

All the n she t yearn for her body. So when she heard what the Wraith said, she instinctively covered her naked body.

The Crimson is also concerned. He is visibly upset, with a shade of crimson rage spread across his face.

"We would rather die!"

The Crimson shouts.

The Wraith raises his hand.

The Harpist imdiately grabs her own throat and strangles herself. Tears well up in the corners of her eyes.

"What are you doing, Geri? Stop!"

The Crimson tries to stop the Harpist, but even when her hand almost rips out, she is still reaching for her own neck.

The Harpist cries out.

"I can’t stop myself, Tom! I can’t..."

"Die, you freak!" The Brutalist screams at Blaze.

He bulks up once more and dashes toward Blaze to attack him. But his hand stops inches away from Blaze and is unable to move even a milliter further.

"How... What’s happening..."

The Runner and the Swordmaster stand in place, taking in everything. They share a desperate look at each other.

"I gave you your new bodies. Do you think you can use it to hurt ? Kneel!"

Blaze points to the ground, and the Brutalist slams his knees down so hard that blood splats out.

He then looks over to the Crimson and the Harpist. They are wrestling with each other. The Harpist tries to kill herself while the Crimson does everything in his power to stop her without causing any damage.

"That’s enough."

Two simple words and the Harpist imdiately stops.

"I think you understand your situation a bit more now.

Swear loyalty to , and you shall be spared.

And about you, pink-haired girl. I have no intention of making you that kind of servant.

I am different than these filthy fucks.

The reason why I don’t kill all of you right away is because your power, your expertise, and your connections are useful to .

My goal is to cleanse this filthy city and restore it to the purest state.

You co here under the order of Adam Gulliver, right?

Don’t tell you have no idea about the corruption of the Police Departnt.
