"I’ll kill you, bastard!"

The Crimson dashes forward in a blur. His speed has increased by a lot, almost surpassing Blaze when he is in the normal Lightning Ascension.

But Blaze isn’t in normal Lightning Ascension right now. He is in Thunder Ascension.

He kicks the head of the Harpist like a soccer ball to the side, trying to make it as disrespectful as possible.

As he is unable to overco the Crimson in battle, he will overco the man in cunning.

A man can only perform so much after he has seen his beloved woman die.

That is what Blaze aid at: to ss with the A-Force psyche.

The Crimson does not even care about Blaze and rushes forward to the Harpist’s head to catch her.

Blaze makes use of this brief mont, when the Crimson has sothing else on his mind, to attack his other teammates.

Blaze dashes away in this darkness, leaving only a red lightning bolt flashing in the shadow.

He approaches the Swordmaster first. This guy has a very special power that can track Blaze even when he is using Shadow Phantom.

Getting rid of him and Blaze’s winning chance will be tenfold.

The Brutalist imdiately steps in front of the Swordmaster to protect him.

They aren’t stupid. They know exactly what Blaze is trying to do and want to stop it at all costs.

Unfortunately for them, their biggest gun is already occupied.

Blaze disappears and teleports behind the Swordmaster, still holding the Thunder Spear in his hand.

He throws the Thunder Spear forward, and it extends into a long and thick red lightning bolt.

The lightning bolt draws a line across the inner yard, reaching out even to the outside world.

From above, a red crooked line of lightning can be seen clearly.

A hole is drilled out of the Swordmaster’s chest and the Brutalist’s stomach. The power of the Thunder Spear is so devastating that both of them were unable to avoid or shield themselves from its harm.

The Swordmaster coughs up blood, and it sars onto his visor.

"Captain! Help us!" He yells out the last thing he can think of before losing consciousness.

Everything happened so fast that only now is the Crimson able to catch the Harpist’s head.

He hears a thunderous lightning bolt and sees a red flashing light behind his back.

When the Crimson turns back, the only thing he can see is the miserable sight of the Swordmaster and the Brutalist. Also, hearing back the Swordmaster’s last word.

The Brutalist is much more resilient, so he hasn’t fainted yet, only stumbling in place.

The hole in his stomach is slowly filling itself up. If given enough ti, he will be able to heal completely without even the need to go to the hospital.

The Runner runs at the Brutalist and carries him on his shoulder, trying to get him away from Blaze before it’s too late.

Blaze disappears. This ti, three exact figures of the Wraith are visible in the shadow sphere.

All three rush at the Runner.

The Crimson has finally been able to calm his emotions down. He does not want to do it, but he has to put the Harpist’s head on the ground.

His heart is thumping like thunder, and he turns into a red streak, rushing over the Runner and the Brutalist to help them.

It is at this mont that the fourth figure of the Wraith, the real Blaze, appears again next to the Harpist’s head.

"Say goodbye to this pretty face, Crimson."

Blaze lifts his foot up and then crushes the Harpist’s head like a waterlon. Her bloody red brain splatters on the ground.

"Motherfucker!"

The Crimson pulls off his helt. His eyes beco blood red with all the veins. His scream provokes such desperation that his voice turns hoarse in the end.

The Crimson has officially lost his mind.

And he has removed the only thing that protects him from Blaze.

Blaze activates Fear, the dark red energy imdiately penetrates into the Crimson’s ears and drives him to a crazed panic.

"What is wrong, Captain?! Snap out of it!"

The Runner has brought the Brutalist pretty far from the conflict. He turns his head back when he hears the scream of the Crimson.

The Runner has almost escaped the shadow sphere.

He sees his captain trying his best to resist whatever ntal power that is currently affecting him.

And he sees the Wraith suddenly appear just a few feet away from him. This makes the Runner’s heart skip a beat, and he tries his best to run for his life.

But his speed is no match for Blaze in Thunder Ascension mode.

Without his teammate, he is even no match for Blaze in Lightning Ascension.

Blaze dashes around in a circle and stops right in front of the Runner’s path.

The Runner deviates and tries to avoid Blaze, but what ets him is a ball of lightning coming straight at his face.

The Runner throws the Brutalist away and then tries to lean his body to the side, dodging the lightning ball.

Blaze approaches the Runner in lee range, the Moonlight Karambit in his hand.

He draws a vertical strike from the top of Runner’s head to the middle of his stomach.

The cut is so smooth that no sound can even be heard from the collision.

The Runner wobbles in place. His visor splits in two.

And then one line of blood appears right in the middle of his face. Blood splatters out from the crevice like heavy rain.

The second of the A-Force.

The Brutalist roars like a beast and drains all his power into one last punch.

Blaze turns into a lightning bolt, circling around the Brutalist’s gigantic arm.

The red blade of the Karambit flashes before the man’s eyes.

And then, when Blaze is right in front of his eyes, his arm splits into several pieces of at and drops on the ground.

The Brutalist doesn’t scream. He grinds his teeth and lets out his last sentence.

"Run, Captain!"

Blaze slashes through his neck, decapitating the man.

He was a true beast of a man and did not even falter even in his last mont. A true warrior that needs to be respected.

Actually, all of them are.

Blaze’s skin ruptures, revealing red glowing tissues underneath.

He has kept this state for too long, and his body begins to break down.

But he can’t stop yet. There is still one last obstacle.

Blaze turns toward the Crimson.

His Hidden Power Fear has proved inefficient again.

This has happened twice in the sa day. First was the Deputy, Zach Dunn. And now, the Crimson.

The reason why Blaze has been holding off from using this power is because he wanted to keep it as a hidden card.

The Police Force has a device to fight back ntal power. The superior A-Force team should have the sa item.

Using Fear will do nothing except inform the A-Force about his power.

And Blaze has won this bet.

His Fear was not enough to finish the Crimson, only able to hold him off for a while.

In this short amount of ti, Blaze was able to neutralize all of his teammates.

The Crimson walks slowly toward Blaze. His expression has gone cold, and his emotions subside.

The only thing that is left on the Crimson is his heightening aura that is slowly and slowly becoming darker.

Not dark red nor deep red. A black color slowly takes over his aura.

Blaze can feel his power is evolving as of this mont. Continue with this rage, and the Crimson will beco a certified A-rank in half an hour.

What a guy. Blaze thinks.

He is able to evolve his power mid-fight, turning his rage into determination and fueling his action.

Blaze won’t allow this to happen. He’s barely able to overwhelm him while he is B-rank.

If the Crimson is A-rank, Blaze will be defeated for sure.

There are ways to win a battle without actually fighting. And Blaze has already devised the perfect plan to vanquish the Crimson without any further violence.

Blaze turns off his Thunder Ascension. The red aura disappears.

In his hand, the Lantern of the Damned materializes.

Yellow energy exudes out of the Harpist’s headless body, converging into a yellow fireball.

Blaze easily calls it into his hand from afar.

The Crimson witnesses everything. He lowers his body, ready to bash Blaze into a million pieces. But he freezes in place.

In Blaze’s hand, the soul of the Harpist solidifies into a mini figure of her actual naked body.

"Crimson, leader of the A-Force. The soul of your beloved is in my hand."

Blaze’s hoarse voice echoes like a ghost in the wind. His fingers twitch slightly, burning the soul inside his hand.

The Harpist screams in despair.

The Crimson’s dark aura subsides, and he drops on his knees.
