Rex was back now in his room after being coerced by Madeleine. Getting a knock on his door,
"Rex, can I co in"
"Of course"
He opened the door for Laura who entered, holding a cleaning mop and a bundle of other cleaning supplies.
"I am here to clean your room"
"Can you stay outside for a while before I finish cleaning it"
She said looking at him with her cleaning
"Uhh, is it really fine, Laura-nee"
"I can clean my own room"
Rex scratched his head as he said.
"No, haven't you had enough of mom berating you"
"Didn't she already gave you an earful last ti for allow you to help"
"She also scolded for it"
Putting her hands on her waist, Laura said, acting disappointed.
"I'm sorry, Laura-nee"
"It's fine"
Laura looked at him with a smile.
"Why are you so resistant to having clean your room"
"Is there sothing you need to hide"
Laura having a teasing gaze looked at him.
"No"
"Then you shouldn't worry"
She motioned him toward the door. Opening the door and leaving, Rex rembered sothing and reopened the door to see Laura who looked at him with a smile hiding sothing behind her back.
"Is there sothing you need, Rex?"
"Yes, I wanted to tell you"
"I can't go to the black market with you today"
"Is it because of Clarissa"
Rex was a little surprised she knew of it but thought that since these two were also friends, it wasn't uncommon that she would know.
"Yes, I promised her that I would go with her today so"
"Go ahead"
She said with a smile but Rex knew that she was a little bit upset.
"I will go with you tomorrow, Laura-nee"
"Umm Hmm"
She nodded as humd.
As soon as he left, Laura in the room relaxed and put what she was putting behind her on the bed. It was the pillow of Rex. She laid on the bed
'Sniff'
She had a relaxed expression on her face as she lied on the bed. As for What Rex told about, she had already knew of it not because Clarissa said it but,

{Flashback}
At the early morning, she woke up early and started to walk around the mansion while inspecting everything in order to arrange what she would need to do for today. If her two younger sisters were here, the chores would be done more quickly but since they needed to go, she could only do it alone.
As she was walking through the hallways, she was checking the window panes, whether to clean them but she saw a girl walking slowly to their mansion. Looking at her clearly, she knew who it was.
"Clarissa, why is she here"
"She didn't say she was coming"
Hearing an opening of the door,
"Is Rex up at this hour"
Her mother had already left for sothing to do and only she and Rex were at the house. She didn't alarm Rex but sneakily looked from the doorway. She saw him walking toward the outside of the mansion and thought,
'Did those two make an arrangent to et'
Seeing the two of them walk away after changing clothes, she looked at them from the window and her expression was smiling but irritation was evident on her face.
"I guess it was bound to happen sooner or later"

It was easy for her to draw the conclusion of whom Rex made a promise with. She continued to lie on the bed and thought back to how she was princess carried when she fell off the tree and her imagination started to run wild.
"I can't take too much ti or else Rex might co in again"
"Let's do this quickly"
It didn't take long for her to clean the place.
At night, Rex arrived back at his room after going on the date, delivering her ho and coming back to his house. He looked at his points it was 534, it might be possible to achieve for another ten roll the next day but he decided to wait till the entire festival was finished. Instead of doing it every ti he had and possibly of getting unlucky, saving more chances and getting sothing good out of it would make his day better.
He thought back to the morning where he used his skill on Laura. The information received from her was quite astonishing to say the least. Her cultivation was not that high as Clarissa but she was still in the sa realm. Every since little those two were very competitive with each other and being the sa age as each other didn't help the case either.
Back to the information, the constitution of Laura was not a normal yin constitution but sothing even more special,

And the thods to cure it were even more severe than the normal.

The next day continued with in the early morning he went for a jog with Clarissa. Since he was going to do it daily, she decided to tag along. Back at the bench after they did a few laps,
"Rex, yesterday night was so fun, how about we go back to the market again today"
"About that,...."
He explained about how he had made a promise to Laura before ntioning her about how they could go to the black market was that had to void the promise with Laura.
"So you can't go with anymore?...."
"I hope that you two can take turns or I could take both of you at the sa ti"
"Laura voted for the first option"
"I was going to ask for your opinion"
"I also like the first option"
"Then it's settled"
The days continued till it was two days before the festival began.
