In the shower room, Rex looked at his points which was gained by being close to Clarissa.

Though it was not as much as being with Laura, Clarissa also had very strong yin as apparent by her appearance. She just didn't have a constitution like Laura so, she didn't give as much points. He decided to not roll and kept it for a ten roll.
As for the information he received from using his true sight skill on Clarissa which he had many opportunities to do. Without telling her, he used the skill on her but there was no reaction from her but he was able to get the information he wanted.
"So she's already at Essence Absorption 5th Stage"
"It also shows favourability, hmm"
The favourability of hers was at 94 which was very high, those above 90 was in love, above 80 was falling in love/having affection for oneself. He already knew of the feelings which Clarissa had for him but he didn't expect it to be this high. As for his response to this, he would accept it of course but it was not the correct ti yet was what he would say before, but now.... it was different.
He went to the dining table afterwards where he saw, Laura preparing breakfast. But there were only two sets of breakfasts.
"Laura-nee, is Aunt i not eating with us"
"She has sothing to do this morning, she left early"
"So, it's just us"
"Yes"
"What are you going to do afterwards, Laura-nee"
"? I am going to get so fruits"
"We are running low on them"
"So are you going to the market"
"No, the fruits in the orchard in the back mountains should be matured by now so I am going to get so of them"
"We have an orchard in the back mountains"
"Yes"
"Since when"
"About three years ago"
"Can I co along, I want to help you with it"
"Sure"
He tagged along for helping. In hindsight, it was not only to get points being close to her. It was also because he wanted to know what has happened during the years he was not here. Since he was going to live here starting from now on, he wanted see what he could help with.

As they walked toward the back mountains, Rex observed the scenery. The orchard wasn't large, small enough to be managed by a few people. Various fruit trees stretched across the area, their branches filled with ripened produce. There was a shed nearby. Laura led the way, opening the shed door to reveal neatly organized tools which included baskets, pruning shears, and a ladder.
"Why are we here?" Rex asked.
"We'll need the ladder to pick the fruits,"
Laura explained, stepping inside but before she could reach for it, Rex placed a hand on her arm.
"Let handle that,"
They arrived at the first tree. Putting down the ladder, Laura went up the ladder and started to pick so fruits seeing which one was good and collecting so of them. The process continued.
While Laura was collecting so fruits, the ground started to shake. Though it stopped after a few seconds, it still caused so effects. Laura who was on the ladder picking up fruits was the more effected one between the two of them. Since one of her hand held the basket which held the fruits and the other was picking the fruits, she couldn't hold onto sothing to balance her sense of gravity,
"Ahh...."
She scread but sohow when she landed, the impact was not that hard. Opening her eyes, she thought she was in heaven with clouds around and being held in the hands of an immortal who looked so handso who looked sohow similar to Rex,
"Laura-nee"
The image of this immortal slowly aligned with the image of Rex and then replaced by Rex who was calling out to her.
"Laura-nee, are you okay"
"Yes, I'm fine"
"You weren't answering when I called out to you before"
"Sorry, I was just lost in thoughts"
"I was expecting the pain to arrive but luckily you were here, Rex"
She smiled as she said those words and looked at him.
"I also saved the basket"
"Thank you, Rex"
He said as he held out the basket which also fell. She had already ca out of his embrace and she grabbed the basket from his hands. When she fell to his arms, he didn't forget to use his insight skills on her.
"Speaking of which, the earthquake was very strong, I wonder what caused such"
She had a serious expression on her face as she said. Laura put her hand on her chin as she tried to think.
"Have earthquakes beca common during the ti I was not here"
"No, it is rare or rather said, there has never been such a strong earthquake here in the less centaury, unless the one in the main point of the earthquake had an even more strength then it might be really bad for wherever it happened"
Laura replied to his question.
"Let's quickly what we are doing here and head back ho to see if anything happened"
Rex said to which Laura nodded. Collecting more variety of fruits which they needed, they headed ho afterwards.
Opening the doors to the mansion, they saw the state of the mansion inside. Even though the mansion itself was fine but the state of the items inside were not.
"Oh no"
Laura started to walk around the mansion, inspecting the damage done.

Walking back quickly, Madeleine could see the mansion with her sight. Her face showed worry,
"Hopefully, nothing bad happened"
She quickened her pace..... Opening the door to the mansion, she could see that there was a pair of boy and girl cleaning the place up which was a bit littered after the earthquake.
As soon as she saw the two of them, she felt as if the weight in her heart has dropped a lot.
"Laura, Rex"
She hugged both of them and then checked for their bodies checking whether they have any injuries and they were released only when they told her repeatedly that they were fine and catered to her worries.
"I'm so glad that you two are fine"
"Why are you in cleaning clothes, Rex?"
"You don't need to do that, my dear"
"It's Laura's job"
"I told him repeatedly mom, he didn't listen"
She pouted.
"It's fine Aunt i, I just want to help out with what I can"
"You just recovered, why bother yourself with this"
Not wanting him to continue doing it, Madeleine continued to coerce him.
