"Why are you doing this, Irus?" Elliot asked, still coughing out blood. "I thought we were on the sa page. Death is the enemy here."
"You shouldn’t really be so quick to trust people, Elliot," Irus said. "And you should’ve brought your friends with you. That way, I could’ve get rid of everyone at once."
"No," Elliot pleaded. "I thought we were friends."
"Don’t be a fool!" Irus yelled. "I was never your friend, and I never will be."
"I–" Elliot brandished his sword and used it to push himself up. He stood on both of his feet as the streaks of red lightning traveling all throughout his body. "Hasty Aspire!"
The boy vanished from where he stood and reappeared in front of Irus. He raised his sword and was about to swing it when the demon slamd his fist on Elliot’s stomach, causing the boy to cough loudly. "Blargh!"
Irus then pulled his sword, spin Elliot around and threw him back to his friends who were all still unconscious. He was only awake after the series of Irus’s attack when the Imperial Dragon Immunity Crest activated and blocked the first few attacks. But since there were so many, he still couldn’t have prevented all of them.
"Kill them," Death appeared on the dark cloud just like he did before. He placed his hand on Irus’s right shoulder and nodded. "For the Abyss."
"For the Abyss!"
Irus conjured a giant beam of dark matter and fired it in front of him, right where Elliot and the others lie. In a split second, the beam swallowed everything in its path, Elliot screaming as he felt the energy flow through him.
When the beam had die down, nothing was left in its path. There was only a long groove, marked by the attack that Irus just fired.
"Good job," Death grinned. "Now we go back to Solaguer. What a fool for them to think that they could split up."
"And it’s a foolish mistake for him to not listen to what I said," Irus grinned. "I care about nothing else but my siblings. He should’ve known that right from the start."
"You’re a monster, Irus," Death chuckled. "No wonder why the Forsaken has you as his favorite even when you’re just a waste product of his children."
"That’s because I am the best," Irus laughed maniacally. "And now I even killed the Prophecized Boy. Malice should thank for this."
"Creep," Death shivered after seeing Irus laugh. "You even killed all the villagers too, pulverizing every single one of them."
"I don’t want any witnesses," Irus finally stopped laughing. "But now that I’m done with this, I kinda regretted turning them into thin air. I wanted them to see how I singlehandedly defeated the Eternals."
"You’re a monster, Irus," Death comnted, summoning his black cloud back. "A monster that’s what I need."
The two demons left the village. There was only silence for a couple of seconds before a sound of footsteps was heard. It was from a man who had witnessed everything that just happened.
"Graywar," the man whispered, clenching his fist in anger. "You have to survive."

"Elliot?"
A soft female voice called out. Elliot opened his eyes and found himself in a white room. It was bright inside due to the material of the walls that were used. It reflected a lot of light from the outside, causing the inside to be just as bright.
"Where am I?" Elliot asked, touching his head to feel that his wounds were bandaged.
"You’re in Irus’s realm," Locraine replied. She was sitting on the chair beside the bed Elliot was laying on. "He transported you here in disguise of an attack."
"Irus’s realm?" Elliot asked. "But how?"
"He mixed his magic," Locraine replied. "That little boy is very smart. He covered the energy to transfer you into this realm with his attack so it would look like he was killing you, but in fact he was just transporting you."
"So, he’s never a traitor?" Elliot asked. "But–"
"Irus wanted your safety more than anything else," Locraine replied. "Never lose faith on a person who had existed many tis than you in your lifeti, okay?"
"Alright," Elliot nodded. "But what do we do now?"
"Irus has contacted the East for help," Locraine said. "Unfortunately, the East was blocked by Death too, so he did what we thought was impossible and lend their powers for us."
"Powers?" Elliot tilted his head to the side. "What powers?"
Madam Locraine led Elliot out of the room and into the living room of the house Irus built in his realm. The house was similar to a forest cabin, only ten tis bigger and had more luxury, sothing Locraine brought into the mix.
"If you’re familiar with Seungju, then you’ll know," Lance said, grinning as he raised a pendant with a bright pink stone. "Seungju sent us this."
"Irus temporarily connected Seungju’s realm and his, then he sought for help from the man," Locraine explained. "These stones are charged with his power and the power of the Maidens, so you can use this to boost your own power."
"Will it be enough to fight Death?" Elliot asked, to which Locraine shrugged to answer.
"You’ll know when you get there, but for now, we wait," she said. "We wait for the mont that Irus tells us to start our move."
"What if we fail?" Elliot suddenly asked. "What if Death is just too powerful for us, and that we can’t defeat him after all."
"That is not an option," Locraine said firmly. "No matter what happens, death must be defeated."
anwhile, back in Solaguer, a fight was ensued in the mountains. Several beams of energy and attacks were thrown in the air, passed by both teams onto each other.
"Just give up, humans!" Leviathan yelled. "You should give up now or else we’ll get serious."
"Die."
Out of nowhere, a beam of light was fired, swallowing Frederick and the rest inside. Death was clapping his hands while Irus continued to fire his power, creating a huge rift in the mountain that shocked even the people in Solaguer who were in their houses.
