Last night’s concert went viral. Everywhere, the news was talking about the idol and his fiancé, sparking intense debates and conversations. However, all that had nothing to do with Gu Ren and Ye Zhi.
Because they have found each other.
In the early morning, Gu Ren and Ye Zhi woke up. After they washed up, they went to have breakfast. Then, Ye Zhi prepared herself to visit Gu Ren’s house.
As soon as Ye Zhi stepped up, Gu Ren followed. His eyes were locked onto Ye Zhi for a mont.
No matter where Ye Zhi went, Gu Ren followed her closely. Gu Ren’s eyes were deep and filled with many emotions— he didn’t want to experience the pain of losing Ye Zhi again.
Ye Zhi noticed the footsteps behind her, so she looked back and t a pair of deep eyes.
Ye Zhi understood Gu Ren’s worries as she curved her lips and walked towards Gu Ren. She took his arm and looked at him with a smile.
Gu Ren raised his eyebrows and smiled softly.
Gu Ren’s house was very big as it took them a long ti to have a full tour of the place. Finally, they stood by the window, where Ye Zhi lowered her head and caught a glimpse of the pots of green plants above.
The fine shimr of sunlight fell on the branches and leaves and the air was filled with the fragrance of grass and trees— everything just looked so beautiful.
However, Ye Zhi’s heart was always empty. Gu Ren was obviously by her side, but she still felt that sothing was amiss.
Gu Ren noticed Ye Zhi’s expression and asked, “What’s wrong?”
Ye Zhi looked at Gu Ren as she said in a low voice, “I miss them.”
Gu Ren naturally knew who Ye Zhi was referring to, so Gu Ren sighed softly, “ too.”
They disappeared for no reason at all. Hence, the Gu family and the Ye family must be worried about them. Family love was sothing that was equally as precious to the both of them.
The air was a little dull. After a while, Gu Ren and Ye Zhi raised their heads as they said at the sa ti, “We have to go back.”
They were stunned for a mont before they laughed.
Here, Gu Ren and Ye Zhi’s family were gone, so they didn’t have anything to worry about.
However, in the other world, they both had family mbers who cared about them endlessly. Hence, they have to return.
Ye Zhi pondered for a while, “Since our souls have transmigrated here, then, the ‘us’ in our world…”
Are we in a comatose state or have we already lost all sense of life?
Gu Ren answered her in a deep voice, “Master Zhao Tian had ntioned it previously— as long as our wedding was held earlier, I would be able to avoid the death catastrophe. Don’t worry, I believe that we are safe.
Gu Ren spoke again, “It’s just that.. I think we might have gone into a vegetative state.”
Gu Ren’s tone was calm, “Have you ever thought of sothing? Even though it was clearly our souls that were transferred from one world to another, why was it that our wedding rings followed along as well?”
Ye Zhi pondered for a bit. Logically speaking, this sort of situation shouldn’t have happened.
Ye Zhi said, “Maybe… These two wedding rings were the dium that brought us here.”
Gu Ren nodded, “Since they were capable of bringing us here, I’m sure that they are capable of bringing us back ho.”
Gu Ren lowered his gaze and stayed silent for a few monts, but after a few seconds, his voice broke the silence again, “Do you still rember the settings of that world before our souls ca into this world?”
Ye Zhi said affirmatively, “It was early morning.”
Gu Ren added, “And we were still holding hands at that ti.”
Ye Zhi gave it so thought for a while, “So, as long as we reenact the scene back then, using these two wedding rings, we might be able to go back.”
Gu Ren, “We can try it out tonight.”
