Chapter 99: Su Xiaoxiao Crumbles, Li Mo Drives a Multi-Million Lamborghini!

Su Xiaoxiao had a throbbing headache. She was drowning in work, scrambling to get her company listed…

She never dread the Hong Kong Stock Exchange’s procedures would be so convoluted.

Now, multiple steps were stalled. The IPO would undoubtedly be delayed.

And a delay…

Would inevitably bring a fresh wave of complications.

Sitting in her Ferrari parked on the street, she watched the pedestrians pass by, her mood heavy with frustration.

Then, her phone rang.

“Ah, Mrs. Jiang! Long ti no see.”

“Is there sothing you need?”

Su Xiaoxiao always treated her business partners with utmost professionalism. Career was her top priority.

“Haha, nothing urgent, just wanted to share sothing amusing. You won’t believe who I ran into today… Li Mo! He was car shopping. Can you imagine?”

Su Xiaoxiao had expected sothing serious. Instead, it was… this?

Li Mo bought a car?

Her mind instantly conjured images of SUVs or budget sedans.

“Buying a car is normal. After years of work, he must have so savings.”

Jiang Nannan chuckled. “Oh, but do you know which dealership he was at?”

Only then did Su Xiaoxiao realize, given Jiang Nannan’s wealth, she wouldn’t be slumming it in so bargain lot.

If she’d crossed paths with Li Mo there… that said a lot.

“Which dealership?” she pressed.

“Lamborghini!”

“The cheapest Huracán starts at over three million, and that’s just the base model! I’ve begged my husband for a loan to buy one, but he refuses.”

Jiang Nannan sighed wistfully. She’d dread of owning one.

“But Li Mo seed dead serious about buying. He was inspecting the cars like a real buyer!”

“Haha, it was at the Lamborghini flagship on Yanjiang Road. Anyway, I’ve got to run, talk later!”

She’d called purely to share the absurdity of it all. But she’d learned long ago to avoid snide remarks, that habit had cost her dearly in the past.

“Yanjiang Road…”

Su Xiaoxiao checked the map. The dealership was barely twenty minutes away.

“Li Mo… what are you playing at, looking at Lamborghinis?”

Her grip tightened on the Ferrari’s steering wheel. Her own car, a four-million-yuan model, was bought on loan, a necessary flex for business credibility.

But with cash flow tight, repaynts were straining her. Thank God the IPO’s close. Once I sell so equity, money won’t be an issue.

She started the engine, ready to drive to Yanjiang Road.

Then she froze.

What am I doing? We’re divorced. Li Mo ans nothing to now.

Visiting him would be pathetic. No justification whatsoever.

If it’s over, it should stay over.

“We’re done… but my sister’s still with him. It’s like this connection will never sever. And Mom hasn’t even called lately.”

It felt like her family had collectively ghosted her.

After a few minutes, she restarted the car and headed to Yanjiang Road.

Deep down, she needed to see Li Mo’s downfall, proof that leaving him was the right choice.

Her life was ant for grandeur, for extravagance.

Li Mo’s diocrity had no place in it.

Only she knew how fiercely she despised ordinary existence.

Everything about her had to be exceptional.

Flagship Dealership

The sales manager enthusiastically showcased Lamborghini’s lineup to Li Mo.

From the second floor, he’d seen Li Mo arrive in a Rolls-Royce.

That extended model cost at least ten million. A chauffeur-driven Rolls ant Li Mo had serious liquidity, fifty to sixty million, minimum.

An absolute whale of a client.

“Sir, check out this Murciélago. Though older, its design is iconic, a must-have for collectors!”

“Too dated. Feels like a rich fifty-year-old’s garage trophy, not a young man’s ride.”

Undeterred, the manager guided him forward.

“Of course! A visionary entrepreneur like you needs sothing youthful!”

“How about this Huracán? Even as an ‘entry’ model, it rivals mid-tier Ferraris. With its electric convertible top and this weather? Cruising downtown would turn every head!”

“Ladies would swarm you.”

Li Mo shook his head.

“Too cheap.”

The manager’s heart raced. Not rejecting the Murciélago over cost, just style. The SVJ might sell TODAY.
