So say when God closes a door, he opens a window.

After the dicine Prize announcent, Su Qi and Xiao Xiaoxiao had resigned themselves to not winning. But suddenly, a bright spotlight illuminated them, leaving both astonished.

Xiao Xiaoxiao blinked her big eyes in disbelief, looking to Su Qi for confirmation.

At that mont, the curly-haired old gentleman on stage announced in English:

"This year's Nobel Prize in Biology goes to Xiao Xiaoxiao from China, for discovering a new biological sequence and developing the antibody vaccine. We present this award for her imnse contributions to biology..."

Su Qi gently nudged her stunned little wife, softly saying, "Go accept your award, my brilliant Dr. Xiao!"

Hearing Su Qi's affirmation, the little girl under the spotlight nodded vigorously before turning towards the stage.

As she approached the podium, Xiao Xiaoxiao grew increasingly excited and nervous. This was her first ti receiving an award in her life.

Due to poor health as a child, Xiao Xiaoxiao had never stood out in school, often missing physical activities. In 18 years of schooling, she had never even received a basic "Three Goods Student" certificate.

Having never experienced it, she yearned for such recognition even more.

Though her parents had always doted on her, Xiao Xiaoxiao wanted to share an achievent with them like other children. Now, she had soone else she particularly wanted to share this with—her Sister Su!

As she neared the stage, Xiao Xiaoxiao's attention fixated on the shiny dal and thin certificate in the old gentleman's hands.

The thought of receiving her first award made her so excited that the gazes of those around her no longer felt so intense.

The white-haired gentleman on stage, though familiar with Dr. Xiao's profile, was still amazed to see such a petite, adorable girl approach the podium.

After briefly introducing Dr. Xiao's achievents, he saw the expectant look in her eyes as she gazed at the award and dal.

The old scholar found himself wanting to smile. He had never seen an award recipient look so eager for the prize itself.

Su Qi and the scholars in the front row also felt amused. Xiao Xiaoxiao was so anxious for her reward that she had raised her hands to her chest as if running, her eyes sparkling as she focused intently on the awards. Su Qi could even see her standing on tiptoes in anticipation.

Though it was a solemn occasion, the little girl's adorable deanor lightened the atmosphere.

Xiao Xiaoxiao didn't have to wait long. After describing her outstanding contributions, the scholar finally presented the awards.

Due to her height, the old gentleman easily placed the pure gold dal around Xiao Xiaoxiao's neck. Looking at the dal, Xiao Xiaoxiao felt imnsely proud. She had finally won an award!

Next, the scholar handed her a certificate.

Clutching her two prizes, the excited Xiao Xiaoxiao was about to leave the stage to show Su Qi when a microphone was offered to her.

Seeing the kindly old man extend the microphone, Xiao Xiaoxiao hesitated for 0.1 seconds. Her high Intelligence quickly reminded her of the important task of sharing her thoughts after receiving the award.

Taking the microphone, she shifted her excited focus from the awards. Xiao Xiaoxiao gently raised her head, ready to recite the speech Sister Zijin had prepared for her.

But as she looked up and saw the packed auditorium all staring at her, Xiao Xiaoxiao belatedly rembered the emotion called nervousness.

Her small body trembled slightly with tension. Worse, she suddenly found that in her nervousness, she had completely forgotten the speech she had morized so well.

The white-haired host, who had retreated to the edge of the stage, was surprised to see Xiao Xiaoxiao take the microphone but remain silent. Stage fright was unheard of among scholars on this stage.

Thinking there might be a microphone malfunction, the scholarly host brought a new one to center stage. As he approached Dr. Xiao, he realized it wasn't a technical issue—the little girl was too nervous to speak.

Seeing the previously eager child now trembling, the old scholar found himself puzzled by this little girl.

Could it be that she ca just to simply receive an award?

If only Xiao Xiaoxiao could hear his thoughts. She would have nodded her little head vigorously in agreent.
