January 15th, 2 PM.

As all lights dimd and dynamic music filled the air, the Nobel Prize ceremony officially began.

Seated in the front row with Dr. Xiao in her arms, Su Qi finally realized that the central stage was made entirely of LED screens.

Watching the images on screen, Su Qi found the view from the front quite impressive.

Su Qi's presence in the front rows stemd from Dr. Xiao's request to the attendant half an hour earlier.

In fact, since the interview before entering the castle, the staff had noticed the little girl's shy nature compared to other Nobel laureates.

To avoid potential issues later, the attendant reported to his superiors and approved Dr. Xiao's request.

Though Su Qi preferred to avoid the spotlight, could she refuse her little wife's pleading eyes?

The answer was obvious.

Hence, Su Qi now sat in the front row, holding Dr. Xiao.

Given their petite fras and embracing position, they fit comfortably in the large chair.

The two foreign scholars beside them, unlike the unprepared Xiao Xiaoxiao, were familiar with Dr. Xiao's work.

After all, the highly effective antibody vaccine had garnered significant attention.

As for Su Qi, having been interviewed alongside Xiao Xiaoxiao, they assud she was also invited to the Nobel ceremony. After exchanging greetings, they didn't dwell on the unusual seating arrangent.

As images flashed across the big screen, the ceremony's host—an elderly gentleman with white curly hair and gold-rimd glasses—erged from backstage.

Dressed in an impeccable black suit, he exuded dignity and scholarly charm. Su Qi felt he embodied the essence of academia.

As the old gentleman reached center stage, the lodious music faded.

Su Qi and Xiao Xiaoxiao then heard very slow, yet solemn standard English.

Being academic prodigies, both understood English perfectly.

It was a brief opening speech, discussing and summarizing Earth's prosperous developnt over the past year.

Soon, the old gentleman steered the proceedings towards the formal award ceremony.

Su Qi had noticed earlier that only the first three rows had labeled seats.

She deduced this likely ant award recipients would be chosen from these rows.

Her hypothesis was soon confird as the central stage announcer called forth the Nobel Physics and Science laureates from the nad individuals in the front three rows.

The scholars who took the stage received a Nobel gold dal and certificate, followed by a brief speech.

Su Qi observed that Nobel speeches differed from typical presentations.

Instead of formulaic expressions of gratitude to parents, leaders, and others, the scientists shared intriguing insights.

So discussed their research approaches, while others spoke of life-changing experiences.

Moreover, being unaware of their win beforehand, their speeches were unscripted.

Overco with emotion, their voices sotis quavered as they shared.

Su Qi found these genuine expressions from the laureates quite interesting.

However, as more Nobel Prizes were announced, Su Qi's fascination gradually waned.

The reason? By the third award, her little wife's na hadn't been called.

With only five Nobel Prizes awarded annually across various fields, each additional recipient diminished the little wife's chances.

Concerned for the little girl, Su Qi naturally grew anxious.

Yet while Su Qi fretted, Dr. Xiao in her arms blinked her big eyes, watching the winners' acceptance speeches with the sa interest as before.

After all, this trip with her beloved Sister Su was already satisfying enough for her.

As the third Nobel Prize was awarded, the white-haired gentleman on stage began slowly announcing the fourth recipient.

"This award goes to a doctor who made significant breakthroughs in dicine this year. She..."

Hearing this, Su Qi's heart leapt to her throat, her grip tightening on her little wife's smooth hand.

The scholars beside them turned their gaze to "Dr. Xiao," believing the award was surely hers.

However, the next mont, they heard the old gentleman say in English:

"It's Molte Rabist! She researched how to make cancer cells devour each other..."

Upon hearing this na, Su Qi saw a foreign woman in the first row stand up.

Watching her walk on stage, receive a gold dal and microphone, and begin sharing her acceptance speech excitedly, Su Qi looked at her little wife still sitting quietly in her arms, feeling a mix of emotions.

Though she had considered the possibility of her little wife not winning and had prepared for disappointnt, now that it had actually happened, Su Qi couldn't help feeling sowhat dejected.

Just as she was pondering how to console her little wife, she saw the little girl turn her head. Her doll-like face showed no trace of disappointnt.

As Su Qi was contemplating what to say, she heard the little one in her arms speak warmly:

"Sister Su, I'm not sad. That person's shared experience is truly amazing, she deserves the award! So, Sister Su, don't frown, okay?"

As the adorable childlike voice reached her ears, Su Qi felt a pair of cool little hands gently smooth her furrowed brow.

Feeling her tense brow relax, Su Qi's heart ward while also finding the situation sowhat amusing.

The warmth ca from her little wife's newfound gentleness.

The amusent stemd from the fact that to an outsider, it might appear that she was the one who had lost out!

After this small episode, though still slightly regretful, Su Qi had to acknowledge the winner's excellence after hearing her speech.

Afterward, only the final Nobel Prize of the year remained.

Having already witnessed the dicine Prize awarded, Su Qi and Xiao Xiaoxiao were much more composed, prepared for the possibility of not winning.

Yet unexpectedly, the next mont, a bright spotlight suddenly illuminated them.
