"Of course not, do you think I’m stupid? Mutual aid is just a benefit they get after joining the alliance. Our main goal is to rebel against the Goddess and stop being her puppets."
"Alright, being her puppets isn’t entirely unacceptable; it’s mainly about the compensation. We fight tooth and nail to save the world, only to end up dead, killed by the very people we saved. Can you swallow that bitterness?" Gu Shanhai said indignantly.
Chu Zhen also thought about how he had been manipulated ntally; his expression turned ugly as he shook his head: "Of course I can’t swallow it, I get it now!"
He wasn’t stupid and realized that the real root cause wasn’t the Holy Kingdom or so other races, but because the Goddess reincarnated them.
In Chu Zhen’s eyes, these events were possibly orchestrated by the Goddess behind the scenes. They could be resurrected and sent back if they defeated the Demon King and saved the world.
