Chapter 695: Chapter 577 This is the Power and Authority of God!
Foreign land, the Shattered City—Akana.
After the fall of Moon Goddess Diana, this prosperous sanctuary had once been reduced to a lair of the undead and demons, where the foul stench of rotting corpses mingled with the taint of blood, almost inducing vomiting.
Yet all this underwent an earth-shattering transformation at the mont when the ‘master’ of the Divine Kingdom returned, bringing new life to this dark, chaotic, dying world!
Divine light once again enveloped the land, dispersing the heavy air of death.
The undead that once occupied this place were mostly dissolved into pure energy by the sweep of the divine light, which nourished the barren earth.
However, Ela had no intention of complete extermination. She was well aware that the foreign land was not safe, and although she had severed the space-ti passage to the so-called Eternal Star of the main world and the Wizards, it was not a hundred percent certain.
Most importantly, Ela obtained a startling piece of information from the mories of a few high undead—that the Lord of Death had fallen!
This news completely exceeded Ela’s expectations. According to her prior assumptions, even if the Lord of the Undead had left the Divine Kingdom and she had severed the space-ti gate connecting the two worlds, weakening his power, dealing with those Wizards would still be effortless.
All she had done was simply to delay the Lord of the Undead’s advance slightly, so that when he returned furiously, she would have completely controlled the Divine Kingdom and be ready for a life-and-death battle.
However, the developnt of events was vastly different from her previous conjectures—the Lord of the Undead, trapped by her in the Eternal Star, had actually fallen!
Those Wizards had actually killed… a god!
Ela found the intelligence gathered from the undead’s mories almost unbelievable. After reaching the God Realm herself, the terrifying power to control an entire world was indescribable.
To her, a legend was no different than an ant. Even the Sky Vaulting, powerful enough to incinerate mountains and boil seas, could not pose any threat to her now. If she wished, she could even use spatial transposition to return the attack as it ca!
Yet the Lord of the Undead, more powerful than herself and also of the God Realm, fell on the Eternal Star.
mories could be woven and altered, but the collapse of the undead legion could not be faked. Another important piece of evidence was that she encountered no resistance when searching the mories of these undead, aning they indeed had lost the protection of their god.
This instilled a strong unease in Ela.
Whether the Lord of the Undead had been careless or had fallen into a trap, one thing was certain—the Wizards had mastered the power to kill a god.
In light of this, Ela abandoned the idea of slaughtering all the undead in the Divine Kingdom, realizing that she now needed an army capable of warfare. She thus directly conscripted the remaining five million undead legion…
This was not an impossible task. The lower undead lacked intelligence and were rely a horde akin to mindless killing machines. Therefore, controlling a few higher undead was all it took to command the entire undead legion.
But this was far from enough. Ela was well aware that divine battles were the key to deciding the outco.
And while restoring the Moon God Domain, she had exhausted too much power and urgently needed to replenish her energy reserves…
The fastest thod naturally was to gather followers.
With a single step, Ela had already arrived in the Shattered City—Akana. As she spoke, her cold voice echoed throughout the foreign land!
“Co hither, children of god! All suffering has ended, I shall build a heaven on earth, dispel all disasters, and bestow eternal light, water and food upon the most devoted believers…”
“My na is Ela, the Moon God, creator of all things, the eternal, the supre!”
The mont her words fell, Divine Power spread like ripples, enveloping the entire city.
Towering statues of deities suddenly rose from the ground, their expressions varying from sorrowful, to dignified, to benevolent… What they shared was a powerful radiance emanating from all around them.
The ruined Holy City suddenly began to tremble violently. It was as if ti had reversed itself, the crumbling walls were restored before one’s eyes, the remnants buried at the surface were pieced back together, and the dried-up lakes were refilled with sweet rain…
The surviving Makuo people, Halflings, so Orcs and Fairies had all felt the call of the deity. They left their long-abandoned dark caves and gathered within the Shattered City, Akana, staring in amazent at the scene that could only be described as a miracle!
In just a few hours, this long-deserted, ravaged sanctuary had been restored to its original form!
After more than seventy years of imnse suffering and trials, they finally witnessed the return of their god!
Excited cheers and emotional cries continuously echoed inside the Shattered City. Many of the remaining Priestesses of the Moon Goddess covered their faces and wept, eyes brimming with tears, as they looked up at the dreamlike, magnificent architecture before them, madly kissing the ground underfoot!
At this mont, the hearts of all were filled with nothing but fervent worship for the deity. They knelt down spontaneously, praying devoutly, pleading for the protection of the god. Even though the newly announced na of the deity and the statues erected within the Holy City differed greatly from the original, no one cared anymore.
They only knew that their suffering had finally ended, and they were all on the brink of rebirth!
“Is this all that’s left of them?” Ella hovered in the sky, gazing down at the hundreds of thousands of Moon God Believers gathered within Akana, feeling sowhat disappointed.
Even though only a small portion of the believers could make it here, the number was still too small. Under her sweeping perception, Ella found that there were less than a million people left in the entire plane. Even if all of them beca her most devout followers, she would not be able to replenish her lost power in a short ti.
However disappointed she might be, every bit of faith was incredibly important at this mont. Ella once again perford the “Bread Creation Spell,” and the elents in the void began to swirl chaotically. In almost an instant, large quantities of soft bread loaves fell from the sky.
The starving believers ate this god-given food, and the faith sprouting in their hearts was further reinforced.
In fact, the rain of bread did not only appear over the Shattered City, divine grace was bestowed on every place inhabited by sentient beings!
This was the power and authority of a God!
Invisible golden threads erged from the minds of the believers, stretching all the way to an unknown region…
This was the connection of faith!
Performing two large-scale miracles in a row was no small burden for Ella, whose divine power was already scarce, but what concerned her most was not the consumption of energy, but the fact that her divine essence was experiencing so anomalies, sensing a certain call.
It was a strange feeling, as if part of her was separated and desperately yearning to co together.
Could it be the Moon Goddess Diana?!
Ella imdiately thought of this possibility, since only the original owner of the divine essence could have such an effect.
When she rged with the divine essence within the Eternal Star, she sensed Diana’s revival, which was also the most important reason she was forced to flee to another realm. Otherwise, the “Sky Vaulting” developed by those wizards alone wouldn’t have been enough to force her into such a disgraceful retreat!
Could it be that the Moon God had not truly perished, and was indeed the one who joined the wizards to defeat the Lord of Death…
The more Ella thought about it, the more it seed to fit the reality. However, she did not fear in her heart; she had now ascended to the God Realm, and over the course of several months had completely taken control of the Moon God Domain. Even if the Moon God herself were to appear, she could not easily wrest it away.
It would be best to resolve this threat once and for all, as only by taking back control of the Eternal Star could she have the power to face the threats from the main world!
“Then… let the battle begin!” Ella slowly opened her eyes, and a star-like dazzling light shone in her pupils.
With hardly a mont’s respite, as soon as the believers below had completed their first worship and solidified their faith, Ella announced the news about the divine battle.
Those from another world, skilled in deception, disguise, and concealnt, capable of controlling powerful killing machines, were the culprits behind their seventy years of suffering!
And now, these demons would once again invade this plane, seeking to destroy the Heaven that was about to be built, plunging this world back into darkness and chaos!
“Kill them,” a High Priest cried out with bloodshot eyes and a hoarse voice, unwilling to give up the light they had struggled so hard to see.
“Exterminate those damned demons!” “Shaless plunderers!”
More and more believers, gritting their teeth in anger, echoed with passionate words, finding a reason to release their decades of humiliation and hardship!
Every survivor in this perilous foreign realm was a warrior of strong will; what they lacked was rely more formidable power!
Ella could naturally satisfy this need and imdiately bestowed the Divine Arts system, transforming every young and robust believer gathered in Akana — the Shattered City, into Priests, Bishops, and even Cardinals according to their levels of faith.
She also made significant efforts to forcefully elevate seven individuals into pseudo-legendary High Priests!
As a result, Ella had squeezed out all the potential left in the foreign realm. This was undoubtedly a desperate move; if she failed to take the Eternal Star, this broken Divine Kingdom would completely collapse within decades!
But if this battle were to be successful, the loss would be rewarded manifold!
Sensing the increasingly devout faith in the hearts of the believers before her, Ella’s heart could not help but be filled with more confidence!
This was her Divine Kingdom, where the earth, mountains, rivers, and all the elents were under her control!
Let alone the Moon Goddess Diana, whose divine essence and domain were being snatched away, even if the Lord of Death in his pri were to descend within this land of the Divine Kingdom, she too would have a chance at victory!
