"First love?"

The mont Astrachior finished speaking, three voices shouted at the sa ti.

Even Double J, who had been hiding nearby, could not help jumping out.

He never expected Astrachior to have that kind of history with Charlotte.

Zayne’s expression also turned strange.

No wonder sothing always felt off between them.

They did not look like enemies, yet they did not look friendly either.

"Shouldn’t a first love be so kind of perfect white moonlight?"

"Teacher, why does it feel like your relationship is kind of..."

Zayne trailed off.

Astrachior gave a bitter smile, took off his glasses, and rubbed his temples.

"It is a long story."

"Back then, I was just a college freshman, young and clueless."

"By chance, I t Charlotte."

"We developed feelings for each other and got together not long after."

"For a while, we were quite happy."

"Later, I discovered one problem."

"She liked to bottle everything up."

"If sothing bothered her, she would keep it inside and give the cold shoulder."

"I told her to speak up if sothing was wrong."

"She said that true understanding did not need words."

"Then one ti, we had an argunt."

"She deleted all my contact information."

"I went to look for her, but she ignored ."

"I thought we had broken up."

"Then about six or seven years later, she suddenly ssaged ."

"She asked if I had reflected after such a long cold war."

"She said that if I apologized properly, she would get back together with ."

"That was when I realized she had never started another relationship."

Astrachior’s face was filled with helplessness.

Even Nia was seeing this expression on her father’s face for the first ti.

In her mory, no matter what happened, Astrachior was always calm and composed.

"Astrachior, then what were you doing at the ti?"

Double J could not resist asking.

Astrachior’s expression turned awkward as he looked at Nia.

"Nia had just been born."

"I was holding her."

Zayne fell silent.

Double J fell silent.

Nia fell silent.

For a mont, no one knew what to say.

Calling Charlotte unreasonable did not feel right.

She had really stayed single for six or seven years.

Calling Astrachior problematic did not feel right either.

Who would ever imagine soone could keep a cold war going for six or seven years?

What ca after did not need to be said.

They could already guess.

No wonder things ended up like this.

Charlotte already looked down on Zayne for being a Forbidden Spellcaster.

With Astrachior involved, there was no way she would accept him.

"Enough about that."

Astrachior put his glasses back on and returned to his calm deanor.

He first looked at Nia.

"Nia, with your strength and talent, you should be able to enter Supre Academy."

"You do not need to refuse because of ."

"Supre Academy truly is the top academy in Aurelion."

"Okay."

Nia nodded obediently.

"As for Zayne," Astrachior sighed.

"Your best option now is Imperial Capital Academy."

Nia glanced sideways at Zayne, a trace of pity in her eyes.

Although Zayne had beaten her and won the college entrance trial championship, he still could not be compared to her.

His achievents were nothing more than borrowed glory gained by burning his future.

Once she entered Supre Academy, her future would only shine brighter.

Even after losing to Zayne, Nia’s view of him had not changed.

That day, when Zayne abandoned her to face the Dragonblood Troll and ran away alone, was sothing she could never forget.

Thinking of this, Nia recalled Shadowcaster again.

Why had that person not participated in the college entrance trial?

Had he gone to another city?

It did not matter.

Soone as outstanding as Shadowcaster would surely appear in Supre Academy.

A trace of excitent flashed in Nia’s eyes.

Maybe she would see Shadowcaster there.

"It is fine, teacher."

"Imperial Capital Academy is not bad either."

Zayne was very open minded about it.

He had lived in the slums for more than ten years.

No matter what, Imperial Capital Academy was better than the slums of Old Shipyard Port.

"Then you two should go prepare."

"The admissions staff should arrive soon."

As soon as Astrachior finished speaking, soone knocked on the wooden door of the courtyard.

Before he could respond, the door was pushed open.

Charlotte walked in with Caesar.

After just hearing Astrachior talk about his past with Charlotte, seeing her in person made the expressions of Zayne and the others quite colorful.

Charlotte did not notice anything unusual.

She walked straight to Nia.

She took a gold stamped acceptance letter from an elegant leather folder and handed it to her with a gentle smile.

"Nia, on behalf of Supre Academy, I formally invite you to join us."

"Thank you, Instructor Charlotte."

Nia accepted the letter.

Looking at the gilded words on it, her eyes lit up.

An academy her father valued so highly must be extraordinary.

Holding the Supre Academy acceptance letter, Nia casually waved it in front of Zayne.

It was clearly ant as a display.

That was exactly what she intended.

What Zayne could not obtain no matter how hard he tried had co easily to her.

That was also a kind of victory.

"Then I will take my leave."

"Rember to report to the academy."

Charlotte smiled faintly.

She did not even look at Astrachior.

She turned and left.

Before leaving, Caesar made a throat cutting gesture at Zayne, then followed Charlotte out.

Zayne remained calm, his eyes narrowing slightly.

Charlotte had just left when a large group of people arrived.

Leading them was a tall, imposing man with an aura of authority.

Behind him were Norton, the principal of Old Shipyard Port High, along with many reporters and photographers.

"Zayne, co here quickly."

"This is the city lord of Old Shipyard Port, Tiger."

Norton hurriedly introduced him.

"Zayne, hello."

"Our champion truly has an extraordinary presence."

Tiger extended his large hand.

The photographers behind him imdiately moved in for close up shots.

Zayne did not move.

He frowned slightly, puzzled.

"What is this about?"

"The city lord is here to award your champion rewards."

"The cash bonus alone is five million."

Norton whispered.

Zayne’s frown instantly disappeared.

His face broke into a bright smile.

He eagerly grabbed Tiger’s hand.

"Lord Tiger, I have long admired you."

"It is truly an honor to et you."
