Humans are a species with a remarkable capacity for learning.

They are also highly adaptable.

Barely a day had passed since Blue Star was reshaped, yet a complete analysis of the new world had already appeared online.

It detailed things like Blue Star’s past and present, the causes and changes, and the difficulties and challenges facing Huaxia civilization.

It wasn’t just the internet; television, radio, newspapers, and various other dia were all disseminating this type of information.

Whether they were university students or street peddlers, high officials or common folk, everyone, either actively or passively, absorbed a flood of information about the new world.

Such a swift response and detailed dissemination of information was clearly the work of the Court.

Even so, the information being circulated only covered the tens of thousands of square kiloters surrounding the Central Plains. Most regions on Blue Star remained shrouded in mystery.

According to the official narrative, the Central Plains was in a relatively favorable position.

To the south lay the territory of the Great Song of Gui Xu. Its inhabitants were descendants of Huaxia who had migrated there during the Song Dynasty. The realm was dominated by Sects, its populace consisting mainly of disciples and the commoners living within their domains.

With most of the Sects’ experts having returned to Central Earth, the Great Song’s power had beco negligible and was no longer a threat.

South of them were the nations of Southeast Asia and other small Southern Hemisphere countries from the old Blue Star era.

To the west remained the Central Asian territories, occupied by the Great Shang Alien Race. Though technically descendants of Huaxia, thousands of years of separate survival had eroded any sense of shared identity.

Most of them identified as people of Gui Xu.

To the north was a desolate land, reportedly inhabited by certain ice-plain creatures. Its territory bordered what was once Russian land and posed no imdiate threat to the Central Plains.

To the east remained the vast ocean, now even more imnse than before. The upside was that the Eastern Wodao Islands were now thousands of kiloters away from the Central Plains, truly becoming a distant neighbor.

East Japan had been turned into a completely isolated island.

But all this was rely the tip of the iceberg of the new Blue Star Continent.

The true main continent, however, was the Chaos Continent, located tens of thousands of kiloters across the sea south of the Song Realm.

This was also the primary territory of Gui Xu.

It was inhabited by the Great Zhou Dynasty, the remnants of the Great Shang Dynasty, and the Mangcang Alien Race—a race whose power was imasurable and whose nature was shrouded in mystery.

The entire Chaos Continent was enormous, several tis larger than all the landmasses of the forr Blue Star combined.

Fortunately, this ant that when the two dinsions rged, the Manghuang civilization and modern civilization did not co into direct contact, thus averting a war.

But this peace would not last long.

Once the Great Zhou clan eliminates the remnants of the Great Shang forces, they will ready their armies to water their beasts in the Pacific Ocean.

In addition to these territorial changes, the presence of creatures from Gui Xu had completely altered the ecosystem.

Large numbers of Exotic Beasts began migrating out from the overlapping Land of Return, carving out their own territories.

Many of the adjacent nations from the forr Blue Star had no choice but to ramp up military production—tanks, missiles, and all manner of ard warships—dispatching them to the frontiers to protect their holands.

Although only a day had passed since the rger, the sounds of warti gunfire and artillery already echoed across the lands of New Blue Star.

The Central Plains, with its vast lands and expansive seas, had already been suffering from Exotic Beast incursions. Following the rger of the Gui Xu seas, large numbers of Exotic Beasts began appearing on the Southeast Coast.

The Court, as if having foreseen this, had already dispatched large numbers of troops and Martial Artists to defend the coast.

...

「A week later.」

At the East Sea Coastal Military Camp, a military Captain whom Zhao Rui had t once before was enthusiastically introducing the newly commissioned weapons to him and several other True Dharma Masters.

"This is the Plasma True Essence Cannon. It can fire two types of projectiles—plasma beams and True Essence shells. It has extrely strong armor-piercing capabilities against the tough Armor on Exotic Beasts..."

"This is the Laser Sword. It utilizes plasma-confinent technology and the repulsive effect of photon barriers, and can output 4.1 MW of power... with a cutting temperature that reaches five thousand degrees..."

The Captain spoke with confidence, his expression full of delight.

The truth was, the army had been in a frustrating position for too long; conventional weapons were largely ineffective against Exotic Beasts and High-tier Martial Artists.

Previously, when facing invasions from Exotic Beasts and Gui Xu, they could only rely on high-yield weapons for saturation strikes.

Their effectiveness in single-soldier combat was negligible.

Now, with these advanced armor-piercing weapons, an ordinary soldier, as long as they were at the level of a Seventh Level Martial Artist or above, could unleash destructive power on par with the Grandmaster Realm, or even higher.

This greatly compensated for the soldiers’ low individual Combat Power.

’Five thousand degrees?’

Zhao Rui was reminded of the Protective Shield Academician Zhang had given him; it, too, was supposed to withstand five thousand degrees of heat.

’These updates are coming way too fast. I haven’t even used it yet. Is it already just scrap tal?’

After presenting the military’s equipnt, the Captain enthusiastically invited everyone to an Exotic Beast barbecue feast.

It was a small Exotic Beast that soldiers had hunted and killed during a patrol.

Since the two realms rged, the variety of Exotic Beasts in the seas had proliferated. Before, only the most powerful Exotic Beasts could travel between the realms.

In fact, the oceans were already facing an ecological crisis. Blue Star’s fragile marine ecosystem was being destroyed by these visitors from Gui Xu.

To an Exotic Beast, even the largest blue whale was nothing more than a slightly larger al, to say nothing of other marine creatures.

This was all an inevitable consequence of the rger.

If humanity failed to respond properly, then in the near future, humans might also end up like these marine creatures: a al on the plates of the Returning Ruins Beasts.
