"This isn’t sci-fi."
It’s just an explanation of the world’s structure. After all, Martial Arts, Spiritual Qi, and the Laws of Heaven and Earth are all built upon the foundation of the real world!
This is a high-fantasy martial arts novel, centered around Spiritual Qi Cultivation, mixed with elents of reality, interstellar travel, and universal laws!

"What a handso young man. What’s your level? I have a nutrient solution here that can rapidly increase a Martial Artist’s strength..."
Academician Zhang said enthusiastically.
But before he could finish, Elder Ge cut him off with a smile. "Ah, he has no need for that."
"Hmm? Is he injured?"
"He’s already the sa as an old man like —in the Dharma Realm."
Elder Ge stroked the few white hairs on his chin, speaking with a hint of pride.
"The Dharma Realm?"
Academician Zhang’s eyes lit up. He looked Zhao Rui up and down in astonishnt and couldn’t help but exclaim, ’That’s truly incredible. Old Ge, Dongqi University has a worthy successor.’
"Of course. But even though he can’t use the nutrient solution, don’t be hiding your other treasures. Go on and give my disciple a couple of sets."
"A couple of sets? Why don’t you just rob instead?"
Academician Zhang shot Elder Ge an annoyed glare, then changed the subject. "However, I do have a treasure here that you might be able to use. It’s a loan, mind you. I still own it."
"So damn stingy!"
Elder Ge scoffed. The two were clearly very familiar with each other, their daily interactions casual and unceremonious.
Academician Zhang paid him no mind and hurried out of the laboratory, heading for another secret room down the corridor.
Elder Ge winked at Zhao Rui, and the two of them quickly followed.
After just a few steps, the three of them arrived in a secret room completely encased in tal.
The inside was divided into many unique, small compartnts, each containing one or more items.
Elder Ge’s eyes lit up as he scanned the room. "That Plasma Fla Sword would be perfect for Xiaozhao."
"That’s a prototype. It’s prone to exploding."
"This No. 3 Protective Shield, then. That should be fine, right?"
"This one can’t be matched with the Dharma Realm. It’s not up to standard yet."
"So after all this, it’s just a room full of junk!"
Elder Ge said provocatively.
"You don’t know shit! Any single item in here could save a Grandmaster Realm expert twenty years of Cultivation."
Academician Zhang said dismissively.
"This is all just the Evil Dao."
"Even if it is the Evil Dao, I’m not giving it to you. Xiaozhao, co, co, take a look at this."
Academician Zhang activated a recognition device. After the sound of several chanical whirs, a compartnt opened with a RUMBLE, accompanied by a strange white gas.
After the white gas cleared, sothing resembling a watch was revealed inside.
Academician Zhang reached in, took it out, and handed it to Zhao Rui. "Put it on. Use your Divine Soul Power to sense the vibration frequency within. I’ve already reset the initial signal."
Slightly stunned, Zhao Rui took it and put it on his wrist. He then followed Academician Zhang’s instructions to connect with it.
’This feeling?’
Zhao Rui felt a bit dazed. The sensation of this frequency was the sa profound feeling he got from a Divine Sword Spiritual Artifact.
His Divine Soul Power was imnsely strong. In just a mont, he found a compatible frequency, and his True Essence and Divine Soul Power tuned to it simultaneously.
Instantly, a unique tactile sensation flooded into Zhao Rui’s mind.
Zhao Rui sent out a faint signal with his Divine Soul.
The watch on his wrist instantly manifested a cone-shaped Protective Shield that covered the area directly in front of him.
The shield glowed with a dark, tallic luster, looking incredibly high-tech.
Seeing this, Zhao Rui was slightly disappointed.
It didn’t seem as Advanced as the protective shields he had seen on those two staff mbers earlier.
"Don’t you dare underestimate this thing. Normal protective shields have their limits; you can’t use them with a True Dharma Body. But this one has no restrictions."
"No restrictions?"
Zhao Rui’s eyes brightened. ’Does that an that after I manifest my True Dharma Body, this thing can still grow to be as big as it is?’
"Mhm. According to our tests, its maximum area of extension is 26,500 square ters... and its critical point for high-temperature resistance is five thousand degrees..."
"Holy crap!"
Zhao Rui was clearly stunned. ’This thing is insane.’
"This isn’t from our planet, is it? And it’s not from Gui Xu either, right?"
"Correct!"
Academician Zhang nodded. "Ever since the Different Space-Ti of Gui Xu was discovered and contacted by the Court, the entire world has undergone a qualitative change."
"I know about that. In the Martial Dao, we call it the Spiritual Qi Revival."
Zhao Rui chid in.
Academician Zhang shook his head and took sothing resembling a Compass out of another cabinet.
He then placed it on a device that looked like a connector and typed rapidly on a keyboard.
After a mont, an augnted reality image abruptly appeared out of thin air above the Compass.
The image showed a scene of the cosmos. Amidst the brilliant river of stars, the view gradually zood in toward a galaxy at the center.
Zhao Rui’s eyes gradually narrowed.
The Laniakea Supercluster, the Virgo Supercluster, the Local Group, the Milky Way Galaxy—
It was an interstellar map showing the space around the Solar System!
He recognized it because he had seen a similar science popularization video in his past life.
"These are the interstellar coordinates displayed by an alien communication device we decrypted..."
"Ever since Gui Xu appeared, the shackles of the physical laws on Blue Star seem to be loosening. Quantum behaviors that were originally impossible to observe have actually beco predictable..."
Academician Zhang’s words made Zhao Rui’s heart tremble.
He recalled a type of constraint ntioned in a novel he had read in his past life.
A constraint on the laws of physics!
