Both Aaliyah and Edith dodged away at breakneck speed.
Aaliyah condensed a fire a few ters away and jumped towards it using [Fla Jump] while Edith simply made a side step, allowing her figure to jump a few ters away as though she was using a teleportation technique.
As they dodged away successfully, both of them imdiately turned their head towards the location near the demon’s heart.
At that mont, a huge demonized beast has already landed there. It was an extrely huge weaver ant. It was dark-orange in color with strands of purplish hue emitting on its thorax from ti to ti. It’s six long legs were no longer complete, two of them were not present, as though they were broken off.
Its eyes were very red and bloodthirsty. It’s two antennae, one long and one small, drifted around randomly as it’s mandibles drilled to the ground that now has a concave spider-web shape due to the impact from the attack that Aaliyah and Edith managed to dodged earlier.
On the other hand, Miguel appeared out of the ground right behind Aaliyah and Edith while looking at the demonized weaver ant in caution.
This weaver ant ca out of the blue and was only detected by him at the last second of its descent towards them. If he had not inford Aaliyah and Edith upon the mont of his detection earlier, perhaps, the ant weaver might have successfully landed a hit on them.
Looking at the broken ground, Miguel knew that this weaver ant could not be underestimated.
However, this was not the main reason for his concern at this mont.
That was because the mont the ant weaver landed on the ground, he also sensed that those hibernating beasts seed to have woken up from the commotion it caused as well.
The whole mountain began to shake at that mont.
Miguel and his two summon’s faces were grim as he looked at the variety of demonized beasts that slowly erged from each of their holes. Most of them were of the ant variant but there were others in the form of other animals too, like for example, the humongous spider that slowly crawled out of the hole that was the closest to the group.
Miguel and the two summoned girls looked at the spider in alarm.
It was the closest to them, and it was also the most enormous. Its height along was more than five ters tall.
Right beside the enormous demonized spider, multiple spiderlings also ca out of their holes a few ters away.
All of them were black and had purplish stripes on their back, with the enormous spider having the most stripes on its back.
If not for the illumination of light coming from the hole at the center, no normal eye would be able to see these beasts that slowly erged from the holes at all.
"There’s too many of them," Aaliyah frowned upon seeing the scene of the slowly erging demonized beasts around them.
She slowly took a step back and got close to Miguel, worried about his safety.
Edith nodded her head and followed suit right after her.
At this mont, both of them knew that they had no choice but to fight.
Although they could contend with these many demonized beasts, finishing it in a short ti was not an option. Miguel’s absolute shield doesn’t last for eternity, both of them were just worried about his safety.
However, as if sensing their thoughts, Miguel rely tapped their back and said with a reassuring and confident tone, "Don’t worry about . I’ll guarantee my own safety. Focus on what must be done."
If he needed to fight the demonized beasts with Aaliyah and Edith, then it was a hundred percent guarantee that he would lose his life due to the number advantage of the demonized beasts in this humongous space.
Not only was he not strong enough to fight them off, the re numbers of them would surely overwhelm him sooner or later even if he has a near inexhaustible energy with the drops of Origin Energy floating inside his Inner World.
Normally, in a situation like this, forget about a few minutes, being at the center of the bloodthirsty horde of demonized beasts would surely overwhelm any summoners.
Even if they just put up their shield, their mind would still need to work to the fullest to command their beasts during a battle.
However, the sa could not be said towards Miguel.
He was not affected by the demonized beast’s bloodlusts and he doesn’t need to command the two girls during a battle at all. Both of them had a very high intelligence that allowed them to move and execute attacks on their own without Miguel’s orders.
This ti, his only task was to survive until the two girls finished their battle. If he could not do that with all his knowledge, his skills, and Origin Energy, then perhaps, he should just commit suicide.
Hearing his reassuring words, Aaliyah and Edith nodded their heads, trusting him completely. If he said that he could handle it, then he could handle it for sure.
"Try to destroy that demon heart as soon as possible. My instinct is telling that as soon as that demon heart got destroyed, these demonized beasts should also return to their eternal slumber."
Aaliyah and Edith nodded their heads in understanding once more. They could also vaguely tell that the demon’s heart was now controlling all these demonized beasts around them. Not only that, from the shaking of the ground beneath their feet, the three of them knew that the demonized beasts Miguel passed by earlier might have already woken up and were now gathering towards this place.
Miguel tossed out the Volcanic Wyrm Sword toward Edith.
Based on her skills, Miguel knew that she was an excellent swordsman. However, she didn’t have a sword when Miguel received her from the System so he decided to give the Volcanic Wyrm Sword for her to use for the ti being.
"Thank you. This will make it easier for ," Edith stated in delight and obvious happiness.
At the next mont, the enormous spider suddenly sent out a purplish spider silk towards the three of them.
None of them wanted to get struck by its attack so they each took their own moves at the next mont.
Miguel was not arrogant and directly escaped to the ground. There were multiple shadows around but he was afraid of getting attacked the mont he phased out of the shadows so he decided to escape underground and only erge from ti to ti to avoid consuming too much Origin Energy while staying underground for a long ti.
Aaliyah rose from the ground and directly used [Flaming Arrow] and [Fireball] of varying sizes towards the enormous spider.
Her skills had now been upgraded to Level 2 and she was now at Level 2 Gold Grade herself as well.
Without needing to communicate, the two summons decided who will fight whom based on their instincts alone.
Aaliyah hovered to fight with the enormous spider while Edith dashed forward fearlessly and slashed all the spiderlings blocking her way effortlessly.
Spiderlings after spiderlings fell one after the other as the other demonized beasts began to swarm towards them as well.
The enormous spider was a Silver Grade beast of a higher rank, but for a Level 2 Gold Grade like Aaliyah, its raw strength could not be compared at all.
The [Fireball] and [Fire Arrows] imbued with the incinerating fire hurtled towards the demonized enormous spider.
The spider created a wall of silk in front of it, hoping to cover itself from the fire arrows and fire balls hurtling towards it.
However, as though it was made of snow, the spider silk it was most proud of imdiately lted the mont it ca into contact with Aaliyah’s fire. The series of fire attacks burst through the silk-shield without any problem, successfully hitting the enormous spider right behind the wall silk it created.
The enormous spider let out a thunderous shriek of pain as the spiderlings around it froze in place, before they began to swarm towards Aaliyah, disregarding Edith after the enormous spider ruled out that Aaliyah was the most dangerous and must be eliminated first at all cost.
Dozens of spiderlings ignored Edith and shot out small arrows made of spider silks, intending to bind her in place.
However, Aaliyah was not to be trifled and easily repelled all their attacks by lting them with her fireballs and fire arrows.
Edith on the other hand did not waste this opportunity and switched roles with Aaliyah.
She stomped her foot on the ground and directly flashed right beside the demonized spider.
Her physical strength and swordsmanship was in a whole another level.
Even though the enormous spider was much stronger than her due to the level suppression, there was still no signs of fear in her eyes as she stabbed its abdon with the Volcanic Wyrm Sword without any rcy.
The Volcanic Wyrm Sword was a crude sword made out of a Silver Grade Beast, the sa grade as the enormous spider.
It was pretty sharp, and along with Edith’s exquisite swordsmanship and raw strength, the Volcanic Wyrm Sword easily cut through the enormous spider’s abdon.
Purplish blood oozed out of the wound as the spider shrieked in pain even more.
The next mont, its legs actually sharpened all of a sudden and directly smashed towards Edith’s head without warning.
Edith twirled the Volcanic Wyrm Sword and blocked the tip and attack of the spider leg successfully with ease.
However, right at that mont, two sharpened spider legs suddenly stabbed towards her without warning.
