With his lazy eyes and ’uninterested’ deanor, Miguel walk away from the crowd and began to search for the beast as well.
Of course, he was just pretending and was actually just waiting for the Manger rcenarie to return.
However, considering the ti, he did not know if they would still co.
It was already deep in the night. Those who remained were just lone rcenaries or mbers of rcenary groups that were tasked to guard their spots.
Fortunately, Miguel did not wait for long.
A few minutes later, the rcenaries he beat up earlier returned. Accompanying them was a muscular man and ssy beard. He was wearing a leather outfit, which beca tight-fitting due to his muscular build.
He looked fierce and radiated out an intimidating aura.
One of the rcenaries that Miguel beat up earlier pointed towards his direction. The muscular man that ca with the rcenaries, which Miguel guessed as the leader, ca towards him with large strides.
Miguel looked over with a slight smile but it disappeared soon after as well.
It was because he sensed that this muscular man was actually very weak.
Would he even be able to gain experience points fighting him?
What a waste of ti!
Miguel clicked his tongue in annoyance.
He waited for the muscular man and his rcenaries to co over.
"You’ve got gut-"
The muscular man’s words were cut off as Miguel imdiately attacked without warning.
His mood has worsened after realizing that he could not get any experience points from this man. He did not want to waste any more ti and imdiately attacked to end this farce and search for another target.
The muscular man’s eyes almost bulged out of his eye socket due to the pain. He knelt to the ground while clutching his stomach in pain. Saliva dripped out of his mouth as he fell to the ground.
He fainted!
The rcenaries around had their mouths and eyes open wide in shock.
What the hell was going on?
That’s their leader you know.
How could he be defeated just like that?
The onlookers stared at each other. They imdiately left the area, afraid of getting implicated.
As they dispersed, they also disseminated the information they knew towards others.
The news about a certain new ugly rcenary who dominated the Manger rcenaires alone circulated in the rcenary circle quickly.
This was also Miguel’s intention to begin with. The more his reputation as ’Sid’ grows, the more he will have an opportunity to hunt and scout more targets.
As he did not want to provoke another useless rcenary group, Miguel decided to search and investigate for the ti being.
Unfortunately, he did not receive any experience points from the Manger rcenaries’ leader and could only turn around dejected.
After not being able to find a suitable target, he decided to return and rest.
With his speed, it did not take long for Miguel to return to the villa.
There were several people who tailed him but he easily got rid of their pursuit without any problem. They were also very weak and were not worth his ti so he did not bother dealing with them.
In the villa, Miguel summoned Edith and Aaliyah simultaneously and explained to them what had happened.
The two of them did not dwell on it too much and imdiately urged him to go to bed to rest.
Of course, their motives for that were infinitely obvious. Miguel conford to their wishes and shared a love session with the two of them. They did not dual-cultivate this ti around either and just focused themselves on the pleasure brought by each other.
The next morning, the three of them woke up with fresh and inverogated spirits.
They each greeted each other with a smile as they went down the basent for their daily morning routine.
He summoned the Dark Veil Beast this ti around and allowed it to train with Edith.
He continued with his agenda while Aaliyah went back to her forging room to continue what she was doing as well.
After they were done, the three of them then made their way to Maras Tavern after cleaning themselves in the bathroom.
Maras was not present in the tavern this ti around. A rare occurrence that has never happened before.
The waiter and employees there already knew of their identities, though, so the plot of being misunderstood by the employees and workers never happened.
In fact, the waiter and the cashier were quite amiable to them as they served them their food.
After that, they made their way to the academy.
