Miguel’s grimoire, which was emitting a rainbow hue, floated proudly and gently in front of them.
Beside it, another grimoire floated in place.
It was bronze in color and was a little bit bigger than Miguel’s own grimoire. It floated right beside it, but the spectator could tell that it was acting subserviently toward the grimoire with the rainbow hue.
"It has really managed to create an ownerless grimoire," Aaliyah said in surprise as she stared at the bronze-colored grimoire in marvel.
This was the first ti she had seen sothing like this.
As a summoner from her previous life, this was very shocking to her, who had always thought that grimoire could only be obtained through awakening.
And at this mont, she felt it.
This grimoire was ownerless, free, and still blank.
In fact, at this mont, it looked like just any random bronze-colored book and not a grimoire at all.

She glanced at the Scorching Water Tortoise and then... let’s forget about that Scorching Water Tortoise for now. It was still unaware of what was happening and was still crying from its actions earlier. Even if it were aware, it would still be a wonder if it would comprehend what was going on.
Aaliyah then turned to look at their master, Miguel.
She smiled at the next mont upon seeing that there was only pure curiosity in his eyes as he stared at the new grimoire.
"Do you guys want to try?" He asked with a smile, looking at Edith and Aaliyah.
They had already speculated previously that his grimoire was creating another grimoire for his summons to use.
"Even though it’s ownerless, only the fated summon could contract it," he declared.
This was what he learned the mont the grimoire was created.
Aside from that, he also knew that the ownerless grimoire was not as simple as it seed.
It was called a Holy Grimoire, and only beasts with high enough intelligence would be able to contract with it.
Beasts who manage to do so will earn the title of a Holy Beast.
It was a symbol of status and strength.
In simple terms, they are the royalty of the beasts world.
They have imnse strength, at least twice that of those of the sa grade and level.
They have their own summons, which their Innate Beast, or what they call Royal Guards, will have an equal grade and level to them.
Regarded as royalty, those who earn the status of a Holy Beast will gain reverence from other beasts.
Holy Grimoires also have their own grade, like normal Grimoires.
Their appearance varies from beast to beast, but their level could easily be determined from the markings on the cover.
Miguel looked at his two won, who would be eligible for this new Holy Grimoire.
Either of them would be fine. It was up to their fate if they were compatible with this Holy Grimoire. If not, it would not matter, as they could just hunt more Grimoire summoners and let his Grimoire devour them to create a new batch of Holy Grimoires for them to try.
Aaliyah and Edith looked at each other.
Edith smiled gently and said, "You take it. I was a swordswoman in my previous life, so I would not be able to maximize being a summoner even if I beca one now. Why don’t you go first and let try the next one? That way, I could learn a thing or two about summoning as well."
Aaliyah bead with joy the mont she heard her words. She was worried that this might create a rift between the two of them when they just resolved the previous one earlier.
Summoners were the envy of all of the people in Wild Beast World; it would not be strange if Edith desired to beco one as well. The opportunity had already presented itself, and Aaliyah did not expect Edith to give up the first try to her.
After all, if this grimoire was compatible with Aaliyah, this ant that Edith would no longer have the opportunity to try.
Aaliyah expressed her gratitude to Edith as she approached the Holy Grimoire.
Edith just nodded her head. It was not hard for her to give up on the first try. She saw how eager Aaliyah was; she did not want to ruin her mood. Her asset was her body anyway; she doesn’t need a summons to fight for her. She was more than enough on her own.
As per Miguel’s instruction, Aaliyah reached out her hand to touch the floating Bronze Grade Holy Grimoire.
As the Holy Grimoire just remained motionless, it did not take long for Aaliyah’s finger to touch.
The Holy Grimoire then glowed with a resplendent burst of light, engulfing Aaliyah’s finger that had touched it.
The next mont, the burst of light subsided and disappeared.
It returned to its previous appearance, floating beside the rainbow-hued grimoire silently as though nothing had happened.
"It looks like I am not compatible with this one," Aaliyah had a relieved smile on her face as she retracted her hand.
Although she was eager to return to her old ways of being a summoner, she also felt guilty about Edith losing the opportunity to beco one due to her greed.
When Edith willingly gave up the first try to her, she felt burdened and thought that she had stripped Edith of the opportunity.
Fortunately, she was not fated with this one. She could just try with the next one and let Edith take the first one.
It doesn’t matter if she doesn’t know; she will gladly guide her without a problem.
She nodded at Edith and gestured for her to co forward.
Edith nodded her head. She was surprised that the Holy Grimoire was not compatible with Aaliyah and was worried that it might upset her, but it seems that she was just thinking too much.
Aaliyah even looked relieved for so reason.
Knowing that, the burden she felt was also lifted.
She moved forward and touched the grimoire as well.
According to Miguel, this was the simplest procedure to know if the grimoire was compatible with them. If it was, it would automatically sign a contract with them, and they would then beco a Holy Beast.
Just like what happened when Aaliyah touched the Holy Grimoire, it released a resplendent light, engulfing Edith’s fingers.
However, she was soon disappointed as she realized that she was not fated with this Holy Grimoire as well.
Miguel chuckled and stated, "Don’t think too much about it. There will be plenty of ti to try in the future."
Although this was a bit of a disappointnt for him as well, he did not take it to heart and controlled the Holy Grimoire to land on his hand.
As he was already a grimoire summoner, it did not react to his touch.
Miguel observed it and did not notice anything special about it.
As he fiddled with the grimoire, Miguel suddenly saw the Scorching Water Tortoise at the corner of his eyes.
A thought erged in his mind as he beckoned for the tortoise to co to him.
In the Wild Beast World, beasts would also be able to awaken their own grimoires when they reached a high enough grade or level or if their intelligence broke through a certain point.
Even though the tortoise did not et any of the requirents, he thought that there wouldn’t be any loss if he tried.
The tortoise that had finally recovered approached Miguel happily.
Miguel patted its head and allowed the Holy Grimoire to touch its snout.
The Holy Grimoire released another batch of resplendent light.
The tortoise, who was very close to the light, could not help but instinctively close its eyes due to the trauma that it had experienced earlier.
A smile was on Miguel’s face as the light subsided a few monts later.
"It looks like none of you three are compatible with this Holy Grimoire," he stated as he stored the Holy Grimoire inside his grimoire.
Edith and Aaliyah chuckled as they followed Miguel out of the basent.
"Let’s try again next ti," Edith stated with a smile on her face as she grabbed Aaliyah’s hand while following right behind Miguel.
The confused tortoise returned to the grimoire as Miguel went to the kitchen to prepare for their breakfast.
However, as the three of them didn’t know how to cook, they decided to go out and go to one of the restaurants outside instead.
Aaliyah had expressed her interest in strolling around with them as well, so this was the perfect opportunity to do it.
However, as they walked out of the villa, Miguel and the two won noticed an unusual traffic of people far ahead of them.
