Chapter 620: Chapter 620: Will You Bully Mom?
He Jingyao was probably annoyed by the noise, as he finally looked up and glanced at him.
Feeling his father’s gaze, Xiaobao imdiately put on an angry face, turned his head away, and huffed loudly.
At the sa ti, he kept an eye on his father’s movents out of the corner of his eye.
However, after he turned his head to the side, He Jingyao calmly withdrew his gaze and continued to look at the computer screen.
Xiaobao was on the verge of crying from anger.
He puffed out his cheeks and finally had no choice but to relent, “Daddy.”
The man across from him ignored him.
“Daddy!” he shouted, asserting his presence.
He Jingyao gave a faint “Hmm” but still didn’t look up.
Grinding his teeth in frustration, Xiaobao hopped off the couch and scurried out, shouting as he ran, “I don’t want to stay here anymore, I’m going to find Mommy!”
He had run halfway when he finally heard so movent behind him, and soon, an arm forcefully grabbed him, then he found himself in a broad embrace.
Xiaobao struggled hard, “I don’t want to stay here! I want to see Qixi, I’m going to find Mommy!”
He Jingyao looked down at his son with a stern face as he placed him back on the couch, “Well, do you want to see Qixi or Mommy, hm?”
“I want to see both!” he replied with wide eyes, stubbornly looking back at him.
“You can only choose one,” He Jingyao said without rcy.
He puckered his lips, not convinced, “Why?”
“Let ask you, do you still want Mommy to co back and live with us, hm?” He Jingyao softened his voice.
Xiaobao nodded energetically.
“Then, you can’t go with Lu Qixi today,” He Jingyao stroked his head, “That’s the only way your Mommy will co back.”
The little guy twisted his fingers together in distress, “Really… really?”
“Of course,” He Jingyao curled the corner of his lips, “If you can get Mommy to co back, I’ll take you to see Qixi.”
Xiaobao thought it over, reluctantly nodded, and said, “Alright then, I’ll trust you this ti.”
No sooner had the words left his mouth than he received a flick on the forehead.
He covered his forehead, looking up at his dad with tearful eyes.
“When Mommy cos back, you rember to cooperate well with , okay?” He Jingyao pinched his little cheek.
“Then… then you won’t bully Mommy?” Xiaobao looked at him warily.
He Jingyao curled his lips, “No. Even if I were to bully her, she would be very happy.”
“Why?” The little one was puzzled.
“You’ll understand when you’re older,” He Jingyao’s eyes flickered slightly, “In any case, you just repeat what I tell you to say, got it?”
“Are you going to make lie to Mommy?” Xiaobao pouted, “Mommy says kids shouldn’t lie.”
“This is a special case, your Mommy won’t bla you,” He Jingyao coaxed his son without any guilt, “Now, it’s up to how charming you are. If your Mommy decides not to see you again…”
“Humph, Mommy will definitely co to see right away!” The little one said proudly, puffing his chest out.
He Jingyao glanced at him coolly, “I doubt it.”
“We’ll just wait and see!” The little guy said huffily.
A trace of a smile flickered across He Jingyao’s eyes as he leaned down to pick up his son, “Let’s go, ti to practice reading.”
“…Not again.” Xiaobao wailed, “Daddy, just let have a day off.”
“When your Mommy cos, that’s when you can rest.”
“…Humph.”
