Vico nodded. A male host acting terrified, it’s understandable to be a bit exaggerated. Didn’t expect Pete to be quite perceptive. Usually, he seems rugged, but his scream isn’t much different from other small n.
"Very good, though a bit overdone." Vico comnted, pointing out a few flaws in the performance: "The scream dragged on too long, too abrupt. If the audience has the TV volu up high, you might scare them, so when you scream, the tone can be sharp, but keep the volu down a bit. Avoid too much post-editing, it’s troubleso."
Pete was completely stunned at this point, maintaining that expression without moving.
Vico walked over and gave him a push: "Alright, go back to the car and edit the tape. I’ll teach you more when we have ti. Your expression looks like you’ve seen a ghost."
Saying this, Vico also laughed. Although there were corpses everywhere, ghosts simply don’t exist.
But at that mont, another voice suddenly appeared behind her, as if whispering in her ear.
"His expression isn’t because he saw a ghost, but because he saw ."
"!!!"
Vico froze, always with her back to the police departnt hall, completely unaware that soone had approached so close behind her, undetected.
At this ti, in this environnt, only the murderer could appear here, right?
Why didn’t the gang leave after the murder this ti, unlike before!
Vico was on the verge of tears, guessing that there were probably countless guns pointed at the two of them, which is why Pete didn’t move at all.
"Vico Vali, I really like your show."
The voice said leisurely, as if drifting around her, coming and going unpredictably, but she didn’t hear any footsteps at all.
"Heh...hehe...that ans everyone loves , you do too, right? Don’t hurt ."
Vico chuckled dryly, but didn’t think that way inside. Did she gain a mob boss or a psychotic killer fan? Was this clue a trap just to capture her and then do all sorts of things?
She didn’t want this kind of fan at all!
"Slowly turn around, I happen to have plans to be on TV."
Following the voice’s instructions, Vico slowly turned around and imdiately showed the sa expression as Pete.
Behind her, there weren’t the imagined thousand troops, dense gun muzzles, just a single person standing with arms crossed, quietly watching them.
But this one person was scarier than hundreds of gang mbers, because he was Deathstroke!
The one appearing before her was naturally Su Ming. Originally, they planned to steal their car while the two went inside for an interview, but upon hearing the female reporter’s introduction, he changed his mind.
He instructed Cindy to take Barbara around to the car to wait for him. He wanted to borrow the TV station’s car, and also the reporters.
Although the Vico Vali of this world is sowhat like the New 52 World’s setting, transford into a TV anchor instead of a Gotham Gazette reporter, it’s undeniable that this woman is not only eloquent but also very lucky.
She first appeared in the comics in DC’s early days, 1948. She was one of Batman’s girlfriends, the only one to survive in the era before Catwoman and Talia.
Her luck was to the extent of being like the Child of the Plane.
Every supervillain treated her with courtesy. Anyone who tried to deal with her was just small fries, no threat at all. She casually found a boyfriend, and it was Gotham’s richest man, Bruce. She wanted big news, and she discovered Batman.
Su Ming rembered it should be the 1989 Tim Burton version of the Batman film. It tells about a ti when the Joker planned to blow up Gotham City, letting the Bat feel his pain. While everyone was evacuating the city, she went the opposite direction to interview the Joker.
The Joker, intrigued by her madness, gladly accepted an exclusive interview, sharing his ideas and thoughts, letting her follow him throughout, witnessing everything between him and the Bat.
Su Ming also rembered the movie’s lines. When the Joker showed her the Super Bomb, she clapped like a little girl.
"Mr. Joker, you created such wonderful things. Oh, you are so powerful, purple, I love purple."
It wasn’t clear if she was talking about the purple bomb or the Joker in his purple suit.
If Batman hadn’t defeated the Joker in the end, Su Ming thought Vico might have beco soone like Harley.
Since then, she showed a crazy interest in darkness in the comics too. She interviewed many of Gotham’s villains, including nonsensical madn like Two-Faced Man, but always ca away unscathed, everyone enjoyed talking with her.
The Joker kidnapped everyone close to Batman, except for her, which is also a mystery in DC Comics.
Su Ming unexpectedly encountered Vico from Earth -11, so why not use her fa a bit.
"Is it live broadcast now?" he asked Vico.
"No, we’re recording. Haven’t had ti to edit yet."
Vico didn’t understand why the world’s top assassin would ask this, perhaps he didn’t want his whereabouts leaked? So she imdiately explained that it wasn’t a live broadcast, but a recording.
