224 Witness

“At this point, you have to tell the truth.” Wu Zheng glared at Shen Luo solemnly and said in a deep voice, “Continue. What else do you know?”

“I…” Shen Luo fell back into her chair and stared straight at the ground. She gulped and said, “I went to accompany a group of guests later on. By the ti that group left, it was almost dawn. I wanted to go back to the lounge to check on Zhuang ng.”

The bar was always quiet in the morning. Shen Luo, reeking of alcohol, stumbled as she opened the lounge door and heaved a sigh of relief when she saw Zhuang ng sleeping soundly on the sofa.

She walked over and pushed Zhuang ng. When she touched her cold arm, she was instantly shocked awake.

She quickly tested her breathing, and felt Zhuang ng’s hot breath on her fingers. Shen Luo was relieved and reached out to push her again. She whispered, “Zhuang ng? Wake up? Let send you ho to sleep?”

Zhuang ng opened her eyes slightly. Although her eyes only opened a slit, tears still flowed out from them. “Sister Luo, did I have a dream just now?”

Shen Luo pursed her lips and lowered her head. She felt a surge of sadness. She reached out to hug Zhuang ng’s shoulders and forcefully pulled her up from the sofa. She got Zhuang ng’s coat and put it on her. She frowned and said, “You seem to be running a fever. I’ll send you back first. Do you have dicine at ho?”

Zhuang ng shook her head and let her tears fall. “If that wasn’t a dream, why would I take dicine?”

“You have to take it!” Shen Luo suddenly grabbed her hand tightly and stared into her eyes seriously. “I can’t bring you back to my house. Tell your address.”

Zhuang ng nad a neighborhood. Shen Luo sighed, put on her jacket, and helped her out of the bar.

Zhuang ng suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her behind the wall at the corner.

At the main entrance, the Manager was pressing a waitress against the wall and hugging her. He was playing with the girl’s long hair. Anyone who saw the evil smile on his face knew what he was going to do next.

Zhuang ng covered her mouth tightly to prevent herself from making a sound. She quickly ran to the back door and pushed it open to leave.

Shen Luo hurriedly followed her. After accompanying her for a few steps, she suddenly felt her stomach ache. She leaned against the wall, and her face instantly turned pale.

Zhuang ng was still walking forward, oblivious to what had happened. Shen Luo called her na and she stopped in her tracks.

There was no taxi at the back of the bar. They had to walk to the street in front. However, Shen Luo’s stomach was hurting badly. She was afraid that she would not be able to make it to Zhuang ng’s house, so she turned around and returned to the bar. Before she left, he instructed Zhuang ng to wait for her here and not walk around.

Zhuang ng nodded blankly.

That was when Shen Luo and Zhuang ng parted ways. When she saw Zhuang ng again, she was already a tragic corpse.

She went back to the bar to use the toilet and managed to stop the violent abdominal pain. By the ti she rushed back, half an hour had passed.

Shen Luo could not see Zhuang ng anywhere. She thought that Zhuang ng had left by herself. Just as she was about to give up looking for her and go ho, she suddenly saw a figure leave from the other side.

Shen Luo could not see the person’s appearance clearly. After subconsciously following him for two steps, she suddenly sensed that sothing was amiss. A chill suddenly ran up her spine, and an inexplicable fear stirred in her heart.

She hurriedly ran back to the lounge of the bar, her heart filled with indescribable fear. It was only when soone discovered the corpse that she understood where that fear ca from.

At that ti, she was standing less than 60 ters away from Zhuang ng’s corpse.

“Tell us in detail about the figure, what clothes he was wearing, and how tall he was. Tell us everything you know.”

ng Heng slapped the table excitedly and picked up a pen to record this crucial clue.

However, Shen Luo shook her head and cried in fear. “I don’t know. I’m a little short-sighted. At that ti, I was a distance away and really didn’t pay much attention.”

“You didn’t even notice what he was wearing?” Wu Zheng questioned coldly, his brows tightly knit together.

This was the only witnesses to these three serial murders. They must not co up empty-handed!

“He-he was wearing… a shirt.” Shen Luo panted heavily, as if she was recalling the creepy feeling. She could not help but tremble. Her hands were clenched in fear, and her fists were raised to her cheeks. This was a classic defensive posture.

“What color shirt?” ng Heng continued to ask.

Shen Luo shook his her and hesitated for a mont before saying slowly, “It might be blue.”

“Are you sure?” ng Heng and Wu Zheng looked at each other and recorded this clue in their notebooks.

Shen Luo nodded and suddenly said firmly, “Yes, it was blue. I still have so impression of it.”

“Miss Shen, what else can you rember?” Wu Zheng softened his tone and slowly guided her. “What else did you see or hear? You can tell us. If you help us solve the case, and we will tell your Manager that you have done a good deed.”
