Li Qianqian’s face had just turned red with embarrassnt when Shen ng undid her belt and reached down, but her complexion turned deathly pale at the sight of the blood on Shen ng’s fingers.
She held her hands over her stomach and looked at Shen ng with pleading eyes,
"Comrade, please save my child, please help . My in-laws are from the county textile factory. If you save , my whole family will be truly grateful, comrade."
Upon hearing this, Zhou Jiaojiao couldn’t care about being scared anymore, she hugged Li Qianqian tightly.
"Don’t worry comrade, we’ll definitely save you. Elder sister-in-law, what are you waiting for? Hurry and call for help. You’ve had a child but you’re not a doctor, what do you know? If we delay helping her, can you bear the responsibility?"
After hearing Zhou Jiaojiao’s words, Li Qianqian also froze. Yes, having had a child doesn’t make one a doctor, the only thing that could save her now was the hospital.
She suddenly broke out in a cold sweat. She had just ntioned that her in-laws were from the textile factory, and wondered if these two might try to seize the credit for helping, delaying her treatnt here. Her eyes darted about, hoping that more people would arrive soon to take her to the hospital.

Her in-laws were from the textile factory, but they hadn’t managed to get Dr. Cheng despite the presence of background and gifts as Dr. Cheng did not favor background or gifts over patients. Even though her husband had brought many gifts, they had not managed to get Dr. Cheng for the delivery.
Unexpectedly, a woman she t on the major road happened to know Dr. Cheng.

After saying this, she clenched her teeth tightly as her baby seed to kick her to show discontent, as if it didn’t think she was in enough pain.
She forced herself to calm down, glanced at her watch, and stood up holding onto the arms of Zhou Jiaojiao and Shen ng.
Shen ng brought over the bicycle, urging Li Qianqian to sit on it.
"Comrade, you’re about to beco a mother. For your child, and also to endure this, once you get to the hospital, you’ll soon see your child. He will be very sweet and understanding; in a year and a half, he’ll be calling you mom."
Li Qianqian, a delicate young woman, listened to Shen ng’s words, her eyes misty and her face sared with tears.
"Okay, I will endure."
Seeing the two were about to leave, Zhou Jiaojiao beca anxious, hurriedly taking a few steps forward to support the sowhat trembling Li Qianqian.

Shen ng asked Li Qianqian to hold onto the bicycle tightly; she kicked off a few tis, mounted the bicycle and quickly sped away. Zhou Jiaojiao couldn’t catch up, and since she was pregnant herself, she could only stomp her foot in frustration and give up chasing.
Turned my head to look back, thought about it, and decided to wait here.
Shen ng was vigorously pedaling her bicycle, shouting to the crowd as she rode.
"Make way, make way, I’m rushing to the hospital, please make way, thank you everyone."
People on the street, seeing a slender woman soaked in sweat riding a bicycle with a wailing pregnant woman on the backseat, imdiately cleared the way.
When they reached a slightly more open area, Shen ng got off her bicycle, and just as Li Qianqian looked at her suspiciously, Shen ng took out a ginseng from her pocket, actually from her storage space, and plucked a few roots off it.

Li Qianqian was incredibly touched, took it and stuffed it in her mouth while also glancing at her watch.

Shen ng trailed off at the end, helpless yet hesitating to say more, but she believed Li Qianqian could understand the words she hadn’t finished.
After fooling her, Shen ng rode her bicycle towards the hospital, and finally reached the hospital in about ten minutes. With a loud shout, she startled both doctors and nurses.
Dr. Cheng was doing rounds, and on seeing Shen ng hurrying in with a pregnant woman, quickly went up to them.
"Mr. Shen, what’s happened?"
"Dr. Cheng, I ca to the county to shop and ran into her. She’s bleeding and about to deliver."
"Nurse, get the stretcher, take her to get checked imdiately. Is the attending physician present? If not, arrange surgery for , as soon as possible."
"Yes!"
The nurse hurriedly brought the stretcher, and Li Qianqian told Dr. Cheng everything Shen ng had asked her to rember. When being wheeled for examination, she looked deeply at the sweaty Shen ng.
Dr. Cheng, seeing Shen ng wiping sweat, smiled helplessly and said, "Mr. Shen, you truly live up to being from a military family. Every ti I see you, you’re doing good deeds."
Shen ng chuckled softly, she was nearly exhausted to death.

Cheng Yufen was startled for a mont, "Aren’t you waiting for her family?"

Shen ng didn’t wait for Cheng Yufen to respond and turned to leave. She thought for a mont and paid seven yuan at the paynt counter.
Not too much, nor too little.
She didn’t care whether Zhou Jiaojiao would badmouth her, preferably harshly.
After paying the fees and taking the receipt, Shen ng turned and walked away, changing to a different bicycle in the alley and soon saw Zhou Jiaojiao and a group of people hastily entering the hospital.
