=============================== DMCA NOTICE ================================

Heya guys!

We've received a double dmca (Novelpia Kakao) and as a result, I'll be taking down all korean novels from the site and possibly the site as well.

I Beca a 6★ Gacha Character was my 3rd ever novel translation and is my most hated. This novel was horrible to tl in the beginning, incredibly hard, pulled so late nights to be on ti. Good tis.

Fun fact, I only realized 200 chapters later that receptionist Ellis was probably ant to be 'Elise.' Uh whoopsy was too late at that point.

This week's chapters have been posted, so you all have 5 final chapters to read. I've compiled the posted chapters into a .txt file and a .epub file available in the discord. These files and all the novels on the site will be taken down on Thursday.

So what's next? I'll be looking at CN and JP novels this week. I haven't read one in almost a decade at this point but hopefully they've improved since then. If I find publishers/novels I like, that'll be the next step. If not, then that might be it.

I'm feeling pretty motivated, thinking I'll use this as an opportunity to make a brand new site with proper systems in place (assuming I find things I like in the CN/JP section). I made this site 2 years ago from youtube tutorials when I was learning how to code and while I've made adjustnts here and there, the foundation is still from back then. I love it but it's ass.

8589 chapters. 43 novels. Thank you everyone for being part of the community. It was a lot of fun and I hope to see so of you in the discord or maybe on the new site if I decide to do it.

See ya, enjoy the chappies! Oh and so have talked to about not being able to find the discord link. Never made it more visible till the end... It is just above this ssage and is part of the text. You'll see a nice orange 'Here,' blue if you use light mode(bleh).

==========================================================================

A dragon's fury rained down from high in the sky.

As if proving itself to be the mother of the baby jewel dragon, a beautiful crystal-scaled dragon with glittering scales descended from above the clouds, spewing thick flas from its mouth.

If hellfire rained down from the heavens, it might look sothing like this—terrifying firepower that could sear even high-ranking monsters escorting the 70th floor boss with a single spark. Everyone froze in shock at this overwhelming sight, and the chat erupted into chaos.

Only Grace maintained her composure.

"Roland, that crystal dragon... it's dying."

"What?"

Amid the beast-kin warriors dropping their weapons in alarm, Grace—surprised but still focused on her duty—carefully observed the dragon as it breathed fire like a bomber before disappearing.

Though the dragon had risen again imdiately after breathing fire, Han Se-ah's cara had captured it clearly. At Grace's words, Han Se-ah hurriedly checked the briefly fild dragon using her broadcast replay function.

What they saw revealed the crystal dragon's true condition. While its ability to rain fire from above the clouds and incinerate dozens of orcs with a single breath was impressive, closer inspection confird Grace's assessnt.

The crystal scales that sparkled in the sunlight appeared cloudy and dull when not catching the light, and the breath that effortlessly burned orcs to death lasted only a few seconds. After its dive, it hastily ascended to avoid the Orc Champion's thrown axe—less a display of power than a desperate escape.

Rather than an overwhelming force thodically slaughtering orcs, it seed to be a dying creature drawing the orcs' aggro with its failing body.

'...A dying dragon and a baby dragon. Could this be connected to the 65th floor event?'

Add to this the baby jewel dragon that the mages had been carefully tending, and a familiar story took shape in my mind.

Don't so animals sacrifice themselves to lure predators away from their nests?

A dragon suddenly pulled into the Tower, a missing nest, an abandoned baby, the approaching Orc Champion, an old and feeble parent... it was clearly a case of an aged mother dragon desperately throwing herself into danger to save her offspring.

"Is it trying to lure them away?"

"Seems like it. Birds do that when protecting their nests from snakes."

"Could this be why the Orc Champion kept moving forward without thinking?"

While Han Se-ah examined the dragon through her broadcast and I observed through her cara, the mother crystal dragon descended again. This ti, everyone noticed the flas she breathed were significantly weaker than before, including Katie, Irene, and the beast-kin.

The fire could still incinerate instantly anyone caught in its embers, but what had been a rain of fire capable of burning dozens was now barely strong enough to take out five or six orcs.

What had first appeared as the righteous wrath of a majestic dragon now looked to the beast-kin like the final struggle of an old, tired beast. The orcs had annihilated an entire beast-kin village, and the crystal dragon was clearly beautiful.

"Human child, I don't think we have ti to hesitate, do we?"

"You're right about that."

The bull beast-kin snorted, suggesting we deal with the orcs now and worry about questions of good and evil later. Though it was the typical brute-force approach of the Stone Hoof tribe, I couldn't dismiss it.

I might criticize his simplicity, but our thinking was similar.

Whether the dragon was on our side or not, it was currently fighting the orcs—just as the Harpy Empress had fought the underground monster. So even if we decided how to deal with the dragon later, wasn't it right to smash the orcs from behind now?

With that thought, I reached out to Han Se-ah, who perceptively pulled my weapons from her inventory. As I gripped my warhamr and shield, channeling mana into them, a small crackling sound reached my ears.

"Hehe, excellent. This is how a warrior should be."

"Looks like you had so hidden tricks too."

"I have moves I can't use in duels."

While I gathered lightning in my shield and warhamr, Katie naturally summoned her ancestor through a frosty wind. Just as lightning bomb and ice giant were about to ambush the enemy from the dense forest, the bull beast-kin thumped his chest and stepped in front of us, declaring he would open the way.

More gorilla than bull, he pounded his chest rhythmically. Looking around in confusion at this sudden drumming, I realized the sa beat was being pounded behind us as well.

Like bulls charging a matador, the Stone Hoof tribe warriors lowered their heads, stamped their hooves, and matched the rhythm set by their champion. With each thump on his chest, their hooves stomped the ground, and their bodies swelled slightly.

'So these brute berserkers have an AOE buff as their special move?'

Like a kingdom's knight commander spreading aura to his subordinates, the bull beast-kin was granting a wide-area buff to his tribe through chest-drumming. When the sound of dozens of stomping feet united like a heartbeat:

"We will open the path, human child. The Stone Hoof have always done so!"

"Alright, let's run."

A herd of muscled bovines, pumped up from an average of 2 ters to about 2.5 ters, began charging forward, smashing any trees that blocked their way.

An enraged bull is more dangerous than most predators. Its horns can easily puncture human skin, and even being struck by its body can break bones and rupture internal organs.

And when that bull stands 2.5 ters tall, is surrounded by aura, and moves in a herd, the destructive power requires no explanation. The scene captured by Han Se-ah's cara told the whole story.

Squeeeak? Squeeeeak-!!!

Gaaack! Ch-chief! Behind!

The screams of common orcs who couldn't speak human language and the cries of nad-rank orcs with so intelligence. The vicious charge ground up both regular and nad monsters equally.

"Groaaaaargh, what, what the hell is thiiiis―!!!"

From above ca the feeble harassnt attacks of the old, tired crystal dragon, and from behind, the charging beast-kin who suddenly erged to widen the path they'd made.

True to their reputation for simple brutality, the Orc Champion turned to face us with a rage that could only be described as having a tantrum, apparently extrely stressed.

With a hulking fra closer to an ogre than an orc, muscles so bulging the word "pig" seed inadequate, a massive axe rivaling my warhamr, and nurous throwing axes hanging from his waist—he was a formidable enemy, flawless except for his simple, brute mindset.

"Hey there, Four Heavenly King!"

"Who the hell are you!"

An opponent like this deserved a strong greeting.

I charged down the path cleared by the Stone Hoof tribe warriors, running through broken trees, swirling dust, and orc mana stones rolling on the ground.

Shield in my left hand, warhamr in my right. I channeled not just mana but its excess, converting it to lightning as I moved forward. The destructive power of lightning, unlike mana, created an increasingly strong repulsive force in my weapon-wielding hands.

Nevertheless, I maintained my stance. Left arm horizontal, right arm above my shoulder. A clear charging posture, with my shield perfectly covering below my nose while my warhamr was poised to smash downward.

The Orc Champion seed almost pleased by my straightforward charge, apparently quite angered by the crystal dragon that flew overhead refusing to engage directly. He raised his massive axe, as if welcoming a head-on confrontation with a head-on response.

"Ever been hit by a bolt from the blue?!"

"So you're the hero?! Co on then!!!"

Our exchange—my warhamr swung 180 degrees with full force and his axe coming down. Though the beast-kin warriors and orcs around us cowered at the impending impact, the powerful shockwave they expected didn't co.

Because I took his axe blow directly.

"...What are you?"

"Heh, I asked you first. Ever been hit by lightning?"

My goal was to the practical application of the newly acquired Lightning Spearhead.

The mana I'd packed not just into my shield and warhamr but also my armor and body was, at this mont with his axe lodged in my shoulder, being converted into lightning.

The axe had struck my armor, leaving a mark but not completely piercing it. As expected of soone who beca one of the Four Heavenly Kings through raw power—he'd nearly beco the first in this world to penetrate my armor. But "nearly" ant he ultimately failed—

"You're even crazier than , hero."

"Thanks for the complint."

Seeing the ominous sparks rising, he tried to retrieve his axe but found himself caught. He muttered in disbelief, letting go of the axe and hastily backing away, but it was clearly too late.

The mana I'd recklessly gathered, abandoning any attempt at control, had been struck by an external impact.

The damage from fully gathering it would be enough to drain even my health. And with the lightning attribute's unmatched speed, there was no way he could avoid it with an orc's backward steps.
