After hearing the system notification, Li De didn’t return to Earth right away. Instead, he calmly finished arranging all affairs related to the Mage Tower before announcing his retreat.

His composed attitude was a stark contrast to the early days, when he had worried constantly about the arrival of players in Glory.

People grow.

Li De had transford from a rookie Vampire into a dark overlord who spanned both light and shadow, commanding five Level 15 top-tier combatants, ruling a city, and dominating a Superior Race.

His decrees could change the fate of countless people. His will alone could make the dark overlords who intimidated half of Green City tremble in fear.

This imnse power gave him the confidence to face whatever crises the future might bring.

And the arrival of players, now that he understood how this world worked, might not be such a bad thing after all.

In the world of Glory, no one knew players better than him.

They were the kind of creatures who, when they had sothing to do, had to stir up trouble and when they had nothing to do, had to stir up trouble even more.

Dealing with these clowns wasn’t hard. A bit of temptation and reward was all it took to make them more proactive than anyone.

If even sothing as absurd as Vampires and Humans peacefully coexisting could happen, what else was impossible?

Li De’s lips curved into a smile, as if he could already see players scrambling to the ends of the world to gather magic materials for the Crimson Mage Tower, all just to learn Small Fireball.

After the beta, it would be nearly impossible for the Crimson Mage Tower to avoid contact with players.

But now that he stood higher and saw further, Li De felt increasingly confident.

In the future, there was a real possibility of turning players into a subordinate faction of the Crimson Mage Tower. As long as you dared to dream big enough, even goddesses would take maternity leave.

As for Dawn City, his true foundation, he had no intention of opening it to players in the short term. In fact, for a long ti to co, he had no plans to let players set foot in that completely private city of his.

After giving Emi and Harrison a few key instructions, Li De returned to Earth.

When the handso, elegant young man exuding the refined aura of a classical noble opened his eyes in bed, the Earth finally had it’s super-stud back.

He stood up, and his deep, dark eyes shimred like stars in the night sky. The commanding presence he had cultivated for months radiated a charm that made hearts race.

At that mont, anyone who saw him would have been stunned by his charisma.

Unfortunately, no one was around to appreciate the scene.

Li De sat down at his computer desk and opened the Glory official forum, only to find it in an uproar.

The forums were practically boiling over. Since the beta launched, players had been spamming posts like crazy.

Dozens of new threads were popping up every second. Such frenzy was unheard of for a ga that had just started beta testing.

But that was the reality. After months of offline hype, the online beta had created an explosion.

And most importantly, Glory had taken everyone by surprise. Many players were instantly captivated by this vast and vibrant world.

No one expected the ga to be this realistic, every flower and blade of grass, every brick and beam.

The fragrance in the air, the stench from the sewers, the expressions and reactions of every NPC, it all felt like a real world.

Almost no player could resist the allure of such an authentic otherworldly adventure.

Of course, the praise ca hand-in-hand with a tidal wave of complaints, because Glory’s hardcore nature had also exceeded everyone’s expectations.

During offline trials, players had only tasted the fun. But now? Now they were taking massive psychological damage.

On the official forum, the top sticky post with over 100,000 replies read:

“Beat the damn devs, everyone’s duty!”

Li De clicked it out of curiosity, only to nearly spit out his drink laughing.

‘What the hell is this garbage ga? I demand a protest! I’m filing a report! How did sothing like this even go live???

First, let share my experience. I was born in so place called Storm Cape in the Storm Sea, and get this. I couldn’t understand a single word NPCs were saying??

What the actual hell? I’m a player and I can’t understand the NPCs in a ga??

At first, I thought there must be so kind of fix. But nope, there really wasn’t.

One priest NPC managed to communicate to that I’d need a magic spell called Universal Comprehension to understand them. I figured he’d cast it on but nope! He says he can’t use it!

Yes, you heard right, he doesn’t know how! He said his talent was too low and he couldn’t learn that spell!!

Are you kidding ?! That’s like my pet goldfish refusing to swim!!

So what happened next? I wandered around Storm Cape completely deaf to everything.

It’s a huge city, and I was alone, no guidance, no help, completely isolated.

I swear, this was the most helpless I’ve ever felt in my life.

No newbie guide, no quest pointers, no starter village, no familiar faces and not even the sa language.

I was standing in the middle of the street like a lost idiot, totally clueless about what to do.

I wanted to take a quest, but I couldn’t understand a word. And this wasn’t even so auto-generated gibberish, it was an actual unfamiliar language system. I couldn’t even guess what they were saying!

And that’s not the worst part, the worst ca later.

Two NPCs ca up and tried to talk to . I didn’t understand them, but they looked friendly, so I figured maybe they had a quest. So I followed them.

Turns out, they were SLAVE TRADERS! Yes, actual, honest-to-god human traffickers!!!

I, a dignified player, got kidnapped by two NPCs!!!

AAAAAAAHHHHHH, YOU DAMNED DEVS!!!’

But the story didn’t stop there. What really enraged people was what ca next: within less than an hour of being kidnapped, the player had already been sold to a fat noblewoman.

That’s right, exactly what you’re thinking. The noblewoman wanted to do things to him… right in front of the slave traders.

If he hadn’t reacted quickly and smashed his own head into a pillar to kill himself, who knows what might’ve happened.

And when he tried to log back in for revenge after dying, he found out he couldn’t re-enter the ga for another 24 hours!

Damn it all, he couldn’t contain the fury surging in his chest.

“You damned developers, do you dare show yourselves?! If I don’t beat you until you call daddy, then I’ve failed as a man.

How did a ga like this even get approved?! I demand imdiate changes! Give us back our clear skies and justice!!”

The rant was heart-wrenching and tragic, enough to bring tears to any reader.

Li De, reading it, recalled when he first beca the Vampire Progenitor. Thankfully, he had inherited the Progenitor’s mories. Otherwise, just the language barrier alone would have driven him crazy.

But what surprised him was that Glory’s ga system still hadn’t changed this feature. These players had barely taken their first step into the world and were already experiencing its brutal cruelty.

As for getting tricked by slave traders and nearly being defiled by a noblewoman… Li De nearly burst out laughing.

An absolute masterpiece of a misadventure.
