Hikari looked around the strange world. The sky was dark, and they all stood on nothingness. In the dark sky, there were lights whizzing around. They zood to and fro, and elents wreaked havoc in the distance. In the more imdiate vicinity, Hikari could sense the presence of dark matter fairies. They were unable to be glimpsed at with the eye, but each of them were there, playing with the fabric of the universe.
Where they stood in the nothingness, there was a long table with several seats. Mortia gestured to the largest seat, one forged and woven with the essence of a tree of life. "This is where you will sit."
The elf nodded and took her seat, allowing her group of friends to stand behind her. It was only Kurayami who was allowed to take a seat next to her. For Hikari, this served as a form of protection. If they stood behind her, it would show that she was backing up all of them. I hope these gods aren't stupid.
Mortia looked up towards the sky of swirling colors. "It looks like the first arrival is here."
A white stream of light appeared, and from that beam, Alia materialized. She grinned towards Hikari and took her seat next to her. "I guess this ans that you've figured so stuff out. I honestly had no idea until recently."
The elf tilted her head at the pink-haired goddess. "How did you figure out?"
"I always knew there was soone ruling over the council. Figures would get really quiet when talking about it, but the fact that none of them acted when you descended into the world is what made aware that you're the existence. Now that the council has you, everything should proceed more smoothly."
"Were there problems in the past?"
Alia sighed. "You have no idea. It's supposed to be a council of gods, but they bicker endlessly. The side of chaos and order just can't seem to get along no matter what." Alia gritted her teeth before continuing. "I don't bla them. I still want to get a hold of whoever corrupted my sister."
Noticing Hikari's worried expression, Alia shook her head. "You don't need to worry about . I'm much better since that incident, but I can't help but miss the tis we shared together. She was still my beloved sister, after all."
Hikari clasped a hand around her staff tightly. She knew that within her, she had the power to restore her sister to life, but would such a thing even be good? She was faced with the sa problem she had before with using resurrection magic. Bringing people back to life is a healer's duty in a video ga, but it's completely different in reality. It quickly becos a curse. If Hikari brought back one person, how many would she end up bringing back for the sake of others? How many people would rush to her and beg for the revival of their loved ones?
Alia clasped Hikari's hand. "I already know what you're thinking. There's no need for you to do anything. I love my sister, but she made her choice. Even if she was influenced by soone else, she still ultimately had her will. I choose not to forsake her resolve. She wanted to die like that and be with her beloved."
The elf nodded. She searched inside of her mind inventory, finding the Edith's [Seed of Hope]. She would not bring her back, but she would check on her condition. Hikari smiled and spoke softly to Alia. "Your sister is very happy now, and it's not like she will never see life again. Hope has a way of bringing about changes that most would not understand."
Before Alia could answer, it was Mortia to speak. "Another one cos."
This ti the one that appeared caused Hikari to raise an eyebrow. She stared at an elegant demon who wore a fashionable black suit. The man had a faint red tint to him, but he was otherwise handso. Pristine black horns adorned the top of his head.
Na: Lord Dominix
Level: 1,030
Age: 21,349
Race: God (Demon Lord)
Title: [Sovereign of Pride]
Strength: 13,000,000
Agility: 16,000,000
Intelligence: 1,200,000
Wisdom: 6,300,000
Faith: 50,000
Health: 10,500,000
Mana: 6,666,666
Stamina: 20,000,000
Hikari's eye twitched in disbelief. Lord Dominix was the strongest being she'd ever inspected in terms of strength and agility. He was even higher than Kurayami in that departnt. Furthermore, he'd already reached the pinnacle of leveling that the elf herself did in the ga. Though, saying 'already' seed odd, considering his age.
The demon bowed to her like a dutiful butler and spoke in a deep voice. "It has indeed been such a long ti since I was able to gaze upon your visage. I'm pleased and overly thrilled to be in your company once more."
Hikari could feel tension in the air. She looked to her dragon. Kurayami's fists opened and closed as she looked at the demon. A smile showed off her sharp teeth, and her eyes narrowed. Her legs looked like they could spring the girl forward at any ti.
The elf looked back at her companion and tilted her head. "What's gotten into you?"
"Hmph, this guy still owes a fight from last ti."
The demon laughed and took his seat at one of the chairs towards the other end of the table. "I'd prefer if we didn't start such matters here. Resorting to such things in front of the primordial is...let's say, tasteless."
Kurayami clenched her teeth, growling at the man. "This is exactly why I want to kick your ass, old man! If you're so proud of yourself, then why don't we put on a show in front of Master?"
Lord Dominix waved her off. "Need I remind you of what happened last ti we clashed?"
The dragon's eyes widened, and her cheeks inflated. She crossed her arms and shook her head. "It's not our fault that the demon plane you reside in is so weak. They couldn't even handle being spectators."
Mortia's mouth twitched, and she grabbed the dragon by the horn. "You will uphold order while you're here. If and my fairies are forced to clean up another one of your sses, then I will personally ban you from the court."
The dragon looked at Mortia in horror. She fled from her grasp and jumped onto Hikari's lap, wrapping her arms around the elf. "Master, you can't let them do this to !"
Before Hikari could even answer the girl, another person appeared. Though, calling them a person seed to be a stretch. It was a long being made entirely of flas. It had black orbs for eyes and didn't look humanoid at all. It took a seat on the opposite side of Lord Dominix and didn't say anything.
Na: Blazir

Mortia addressed the new arrival. "Tily as always and quiet as always, too."
Blazir's voice seed to echo into the abyss as he spoke. "Words not needed. Here to make observations."
Lord Dominix sighed. "You'd not fit in very well in the demonic world. Don't you know words are power, young one?"
Hikari was trying to wrap her head around how Blazir was so young. If he was the king of suns, she figured he'd be in the millions of years, not the thousands. Her train of thought was cut off as more seed to start appearing.
"My, my, I'm surprised that the council has it's ruler this ti. Seems like it wasn't simply a joke." The small creature chuckled and hopped onto her seat.
Hikari didn't miss how Alia glared at the being. It was about the size of a dwarf, yet most of its body was like that of a rat, except for its tail. The tail was a hissing snake that snapped at the air around it.
Once again, the snake rat spoke to Alia in her dry, aged voice. "Now, don't look at like that. Glaring at people rely because they disagree with you isn't a polite thing to do."
The one who answered was not Alia, but it was yet another newcor. This one was in the form of a radiant golden lion, and he had a large war hamr strapped to his back. "Watch your tongue, rat. This place is sacred. Even if we are part of opposite sides, the order of the council should be respected."
"Order? Respect? Since when did you deserve such a thing?" The rat snake scoffed and crossed her arms. "I'm only here to stir up trouble, as is natural. I prefer...A more chaotic court."
Another masked god couldn't stop laughing next to the rat. She wore a black mask that covered her face with a pink teardrop right below one of the eyes.
The radiant lion looked at her in agitation. "What are you laughing about, you little vermin?"
Nothing answered him, except for a continued insane laugh. It grew high pitched and continued, until the laugh beca cries. Red teardrops flooded down the mask and dripped onto the invisible floor.
