The Federation would no longer stand idly by after this incident, and would inevitably take control of the managent rights of the Ancient Humans in their hands, and at that ti, would she face the situation of losing her freedom again? Everything was unknown.

Qiao Suisui hung her eyelids, leaving the n present clueless about what she was thinking.

Carl couldn't stand it anymore and frowned at the n, "Why are you only stressing her out? If you're n, find a solution!"

Leberli shot back with a glare, "Then why don't you just break into the prison yourself, use your so-called Talent, and directly take her out? Think you're so great?"

Carl smirked with disdain, "Break in? You think I wouldn't dare?"

Qiao Suisui had a headache from their bickering, and as she was at a loss, Sang Yan spoke up.

"If you trust , you can let Suisui join the Freedom Alliance."

As soon as these words ca out, the whole living room fell silent.

Both Ruka and Leberli turned to look at him as Sang Yan's eyes held sincerity, continuing, "If she stays in Auslan, are you confident you can keep protecting her forever? You must understand the negotiations and balances involved better than anyone. But the reach of the Federation's hand only extends to its mber states."

Qiao Suisui's mind stirred, but she kept her composure and looked towards Sang Yan, "But how do I know that the Freedom Alliance won't just be another 'Federation'? Knowing my identity, won't they restrict my freedom under the guise of protection?"

Sang Yan shook his head, his gaze firm, and said to her, "I swear in the na of the Beast God, there, no one will force you to do anything you're unwilling to do. Should anyone harm you, I would not let them off easily. If I break this oath, I am willing to pledge my soul to you and be forever spurned by the gods."

The n present were silenced by the weight of the oath. Although they had not grown up within the Freedom Alliance, the status of the Beast God in their hearts was sacrosanct. However, Qiao Suisui, a modern materialist, wasn't much touched. Instead of Sang Yan's oath, she trusted his character more.

"I trust you," Qiao Suisui said.

"Suisui!" Leberli squatted in front of her, no longer assertive as before. His eyes reddened as he grasped her wrist, "Are you really going to leave ? What about our child? Don't you want us anymore?"

Qiao Suisui, weary, closed her eyes and said only one sentence, "Let think about it," and then went straight upstairs.

In the living room, the n remained seated in silence.

Ruka said nothing, his shoulders as if covered in frost, even indoors. Besides sorrow, nothing else remained on his face at that mont.

He wondered absentmindedly if the reason he hadn't been able to speak up and tell her... was the fear of facing this situation, the fear of knowing she could abandon herself for soone else... He hadn't contested it because he was afraid of the answer... When he and another were placed on the scales of her heart, which side would weigh more?

Carl, agitated, scratched his head and clicked his tongue, his red hair tousled like a bird's nest. How he wished he weren't bound by the obligations of the Federation. To entangle with her and go anywhere, doing anything would be good.

Leberli pushed Ruka's shoulder, the rage in his eyes unmistakable, "She always listens to you the most. Why didn't you stop her? If you had spoken up, she certainly wouldn't have had the heart to refuse."

Ruka's face was etched with desolation as he gave a bitter smile, "Since we all know she would have the heart to refuse, why should we emotionally blackmail her? Ash, don't be foolish. Whatever she truly wants to do in her heart, no one can stop her."

Leberli stood stunned, fists clenched, a surge of unwillingness raced to his heart.

He turned to leave, but Ruka grabbed him firmly.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm going to ask her clear up, what's so good about that madman that she'd do this!"

"Enough!"

Ruka couldn't hold him back, Leberli stord upstairs, ignoring others' feelings, Carl rolled his eyes while sitting on the couch and stood up with an impatient look to intervene. Sang Yan stepped forward to diate, only to be shoved aside by Leberli.

"It's all your fault! What kind of crappy proposal is that? You're just after your own selfish desires, right? Dreaming of coaxing her over to your territory?"

Leberli and Sang Yan got into a fight, Carl clicked his tongue and stood up with an irritated face to pull them apart.

Chaos erupted on the first floor.

Upstairs.

Qiao Suisui's back pressed against the chilly wall surface, faintly hearing the argunts rising from below, a sense of helplessness enveloped her, the kind that no one seed able to express.

She slowly crouched down, hugging herself, resting her head on knees. Suddenly, the Light Computer's notification tone sounded, its screen illuminating her face in the dark room.

[Celebrating Zhang Fei's Discharge!]

The attached image was a selfie that Li Yi took with Anubis. It was clearly sent from Anubis's Light Computer by Li Yi.

Qiao Suisui wondered for a mont who Zhang Fei was before realizing that she had smiled.

She clicked on the photo, and as she looked at the restrained young man in the photo, Lanze's words ca to mind, especially 'stripped flesh and flayed bones', and suddenly her heart ached.

She buried her head in her knees, taking a long sigh, as if trying to expel the day's weight through this gesture. After a short while, Anubis's voice unexpectedly filled the room.

"Hello?"

Qiao Suisui then realized that she had accidentally touched the Light Computer, making a direct call.

"Qiao?"

"Ah... yeah..." Qiao Suisui quickly turned on the Voice Changing Pills before saying, "I, I... just wanted to congratulate you on your discharge."

The other side was quiet for a few seconds, and then a deep, magnetic voice spoke up, "What happened?"

"Nothing... just, a bit tired today..."

Anubis pushed Li Yi, who was eavesdropping on the side, walked farther away, gripped the Light Computer in his hand, and said, "Tell if there's anything you can't solve."

After he finished speaking, he didn't hear any response. Anubis quietly listened to her breathing, not rushing her, as if accompanying her in his own unique way.

After a long while, her voice finally ca through the Light Computer, "If, I an if... soone is really good to you, but often puts a lot of pressure on you, and now they are in trouble, you really want to help them, but you have to give sothing else up, would you choose to help?"

"That would depend on what I have to give up."

"What if it's soone equally important to you that you have to give up?"

Anubis was silent for a while, looking up at the moon in the sky, and said, "If it's a very important person, then I wouldn't even consider that option."

At that mont, Qiao Suisui also walked to the windowsill, pushed open the window to let air in, the moonlight spilling over her, her eyes filled with confusion.

The two holding the Light Computers were, without prior agreent, both looking at the sa moon.

"What if.... we simply go back to the original world...." She realized what she said and thought that Anubis probably didn't understand a word, letting out a self-mocking, wry smile, sighed, "Never mind, I don't even know what I'm talking about...."

"Qiao."

His voice was firm and strong, calling her na with an imperceptible tenderness.

"Rember, no matter what decision you end up making, I am unconditionally on your side."

Qiao Suisui froze; the clear moonlight gently sprinkled on her, enveloping her tenderly, and the warmth infused not just her exterior but also her confused heart.

That night, she made a decision.
