Siderius collected a total of six plants.
The first was the plant with orange-yellow flowers near the river bank. The flowers looked like mini fla sparks so Sideirus called this Spark Blossom, a temporary na that might be changed later.
The second was a type of lily pad floating on the river surface. Its root had a blueish color so Siderius called this Blue Lily.
The third was a type of vine with yellow streaks on its body thar Siderius found in the high grass. He nad this Yellow Streak for distinction.
The fourth was the short shrub with gray bark in the sa area. Siderius nad this Gray Shrub.
The fifth was the plant with bright orange-red veins leaves. Siderius nad this species Fire Vein.
The last was the thin clover that lived between rock crevices. Siderius found it around the hills near his shelter. He nad this Paper Clover due to its thin leaves.
Now that the six plants were gathered, he spread them out on an even surface and began his experint.
The testing of one plant elent was simple and the only additional material needed was Salt.
Salt was the Body in alchemical principle. Naturally, it also revealed the truth of one’s body.
To draw out the elent of the plant, one would need to draw a specific Alchemy Seal with pure salt and watch it react.
Siderius constructed the testing Seal and put the first plant, the Spark Blossom on it.
The sign sequence to initiate the testing was very simple and consisted of only one sign.
The sign involved both hands of an alchemist. The left hand ford a fist while the right hand stretched out and placed on top of the left fist. Then the right hand slowly moved away while the left fist opened up slowly.
This was to recreate the process of opening up the Body of a plant, revealing its true nature.
Once the sign was complete, the Spark Blossom ignited imdiately. The longer it burned the higher its Fire elent would be.
It burned for around three seconds and then let out a huge puff of white smoke. Its leftover body dissolved into a clear liquid.
The Spark Blossom wasn’t pure and it contained not one but three elents. The fla was fire. The smoke was air. And the remaining liquid was water.
These types of multi elent plants were very common. However because of its mixture of elents, it was mostly unusable in concoction except for very specific formulas.

Siderius wrote the properties and description of the renad Riverspark onto the black mirror of his bracer. These contents were then stored inside the system, alongside the original library.

It was the job of an alchemist to experint with new plants and register them. Siderius was the only alchemist here but old habits died hard. And writing down your knowledge was a great way to not forget it.
Maybe the plant would be useful in the future, you’d never know.
The alchemical na was a more delicate way to indicate a plant’s nature. The first part was simply its genus, an alternative na that was the equivalent of Riverspark. The second part was its Elental Root.
Trysalith indicated that the plant had at least three out of four elents.
Siderius moved on to the second plant, the Blue Lily. Siderius put so of the plant on the Alchemy Seal and tested its property.
This ti the plant completely dissolved into a liquid, showing that it had a pure water elent.
"Oh? This plant may co in useful later."
Fire and water never went well together. That was why the original Formula for Blightburn didn’t use a Water elent plant but used Earth and Air instead. Earth and Air may not be too great against Fire but that was the point.
Ironmint and Smokevine were only there to make sure the Tonic did its job, not fighting against it.
Using direct Water elent was a stupid idea. But Siderius could still use it for future formulas. A pure Water elent plant always had its usefulness.
"Let’s give this plant an official na. Blueroot Lily may be sufficient."
Siderius wrote on the black mirror to register the new plant.

While Trysalith indicated three elents inside the plant, Aquisonir ant that the plant only had pure Water elent. This was similar to Cindra Ignisonir, where the Ignisonir indicated a pure Fire elent.
Siderius moved on to the Yellow Streak Vine.
This ti the vine hardened itself and let out a small puff of smoke. Contrary to its appearance, it didn’t have any Fire elent at all and consisted of very little Earth and Air elents.
Siderius changed this plant na to Yellowstone Vine to showcase its Earth elent.

Aequorix indicated a balance between Earth and Air elents, a suitable elental root for yellowstone.
Next Siderius tested the Gray Shrub.
The bark hardened itself on the Alchemy Seal, showing its pure Earth Elent. This could be a great replacent for Ironmint in the Blightburn formula.

Similar to Ignisonir and Aquisonir, Terranonir indicated a pure Earth elental plant.
The last two were the Fire Vein plant and the Paper Clover.
Siderius started with the Fire Vein first. He had high hopes for this plant based on its appearance alone.
He was not disappointed. The Fire Vein burned for a long amount of ti and did not show any other elents at all. Just a pure Fire elent plant.
He found his main ingredient for the Blightburn Tonic. More experints would be needed to test its actual compatibility.
Siderius kept this plant na the sa. He added an alchemical na for it, Arvena Ignisonir, copying the way Cindra was nad.

Then he moved on to the Paper Clover. The plant exhibited a great amount of Air elent with a huge puff of white smoke. Its body was also hardened into a rock-like surface.
The Paper Clover was much more resilient than Siderius thought, showing high concentration of both Air and Earth elents. This plant alone may be used as a replacent for both Ironmint and Smokevine.
Siderius changed the na of this plant to Rockslit Clover, and added an alchemical na for it.

Rockslit had a good balance between Earth and Air elent so its na also contained Aequorix to show this trait.
Blightburn consisted of one Fire elent plant, one Earth elent plant, one Air elent plant.
The new Firevein could replace the Fire elent plant.
The Earth and Air elent plants needed careful asuring to make sure it could mix well with the Tonic. Siderius added Grayground and Rockslit as potential replacents. Yellowstone also had Earth and Air elents but its concentration was very little. If the formula needed a little bit more of Earth and Air to balance the reaction, Yellowstone could be added as well.
Siderius made the new temporary formula for Blightburn.
