The prisoners looked at each other and then, after a second, all of them began crying.

I opened my mouth to ask them what was wrong but they told that themselves.
"All of us were captured by Malthus' soldiers. We never accepted his rule and therefore, we were thrown into prison. The guards had taken our wives and daughters. We had no one to call too and we were too weak to help ourselves. Knowing you are alive now, fills our heart with utmost pleasure. Thank you for being alive, my lord."
One man spoke on behalf of all the prisoners as all of them cried more like girls after seeing their hero die in a k-drama.
I had no idea I was being missed this much.
I was glad to hear their words but they should know that it will take so ti to defeat Malthus. I wasn't overpowered anymore. And even when I was overpowered, I had lost against that red monster.
