In the Hall of the Gods, within the Asgard, a dark blue mist of space opened up. Thor erged first, followed closely by Kyle, Banner, and Valkyrie.

Inside the hall, an eerie silence hung in the air, devoid of even a single palace guard. As Kyle and the others looked up, they saw a woman with long black hair sitting high on a golden throne at the end of the hall.

This cold and beautiful figure wore a dark golden crown and a flowing black robe. Her pale hands rested on the armrests of the throne, exuding an air of dignified elegance and cold authority.

She sat there, her eyeliner-lined eyes quietly gazing down at the group that had entered, showing no surprise, as if she had been waiting for them.

She was Odin's first child, the Goddess of Death, Hela.

Thor glared at Hela and shouted, "What did you do to Heimdall, the palace guards, and the Asgardian army?"

"Nothing much. They wouldn't accept , the rightful ruler of Asgard, so I had no choice but to… kill them all," Hela replied casually as if she had crushed a group of ants without a second thought.

"You monster!" Thor yelled in fury, his eyes flashing with intense lightning, though his short hair prevented it from flying wildly like before.

"I've been waiting for you," Hela said, her gaze not fixed on Thor, but rather behind him.

"I've been looking for you, you—" Thor began, but Hela gently shook her head, not even sparing him a glance. "I'm not talking about you. Thor, in my eyes, you hold no weight or threat."

Thor frowned deeply and followed Hela's gaze, turning to look at Kyle, who stood behind him.

"You were waiting for ?" Kyle asked, pointing at himself, unable to grasp Hela's true intentions.

"Of course. No one else could make wait," Hela replied like a noble queen, sliding to the side of the throne. She gracefully gestured to the empty seat beside her, saying, "Sit. This throne was ant for you."

Thor, Banner, and Valkyrie exchanged confused glances, unable to comprehend what was happening.

Even Kyle felt baffled. 'Was this so kind of trick by Hela? Was she trying to sow discord between him and Thor?'

But given Hela's power and strength, and her return to the Asgard, there seed to be no reason for her to do sothing like that.

"You're mistaken," Kyle replied calmly.

"How could I be mistaken? How could I ever mistake soone…" Hela's emotions flared up briefly, but she quickly regained her composure and said with calm certainty, "The Eternal Fla is on you, right?"

"Yes," Kyle nodded, not denying it. After all, it was well known that the Eternal Fla was with him. However, when he took it, Hela was no longer in the Asgard; she had been exiled to the world of death.

He added, "It was given to by Odin."

"Wrong," Hela shook her head, then asked pointedly, "Do you think just anyone could possess the Eternal Fla, given its importance? The Eternal Fla is the key item that controls the very existence of the Asgard!"

Thor was stunned, realizing he hadn't considered this before. Now, upon reflection, the Eternal Fla was indeed powerful enough to trigger Ragnarök, the Twilight of the Gods. He began to wonder why his father, Odin, had allowed Kyle to take the Eternal Fla from the Odin vault when they first t.

Valkyrie lowered her voice and spoke, "The Eternal Fla is the very essence of life for the Asgard, and it's strongly tied to the Undead Legion of the Goddess of Death."

At this point, even Banner, who had been oblivious to the situation, began to understand.

To sum it up: the Eternal Fla was ten to a hundred tis more important than the sword wielded by Heimdall, the Gatekeeper, or even Thor's Mjolnir! Odin would never have casually given it to anyone!

"Do you understand now?" Hela said with certainty. "The Eternal Fla was always ant to be yours! You must be the one!"

"The Eternal Fla… was always mine?" Kyle was confused, while Thor and the others looked at him in surprise.

Seeing the confusion and doubt on Kyle's face, Hela stared at him deeply, took a deep breath, and with a hint of sadness asked, "You really don't recognize anymore?"

This ti, even Valkyrie was taken aback. She had never seen the ruthless and cold Goddess of Death, who had destroyed their Valkyrie army, show such an expression— a look that only a woman could have.

Kyle didn't speak but t her gaze with a calm stare.

After a mont, Hela seed to understand sothing, murmuring to herself, "So that's why... so that's why you…"

"What do you know?" Kyle's mind stirred, and suddenly he recalled a match he had fought with Vision during the superpower competition on Earth.

In the virtual constructed Odin vault, the strange built-in mural, the unusual behavior of Hela, and the Eternal Fla granted by Odin— all these seed to be subtly connected.

"The real answer, you will have to find for yourself. If I tell you, it would be aningless," Hela said, sitting back on the throne, clearing a space beside her, and softly speaking. "But I still stand by what I said: this throne was always ant for you. You can sit here whenever you wish."

Kyle asked, "If that throne is mine, does that an my words can be commands?"

"Yes," Hela nodded without hesitation. "You can do whatever you want. Your words will be the law of the Asgard."

"Can I order you to die?" Kyle's words made Thor and the others exchange worried glances, but Hela remained unfazed, calmly responding, "Yes. But I don't want to die just yet. I need to wait for the person I am waiting for."

Kyle didn't respond imdiately, understanding that Hela was serious.

If he insisted, the Goddess of Death would indeed die. But deep inside, why didn't he want this woman to die right now?

Under the gaze of Thor and the others, Kyle spoke calmly, "Then release everyone in the Asgard, and let us leave."

Hela nodded decisively, "No problem. They're imprisoned behind a cliff outside the Hall of the Gods. You can take them anyti."

"They?" Thor widened his eyes in surprise.

Kyle nodded slightly, "Yes, I sensed it as soon as we arrived in the Asgard. Outside the Hall of the Gods, I could feel the energy signatures of many people, including Heimdall."

"You didn't kill them?" Valkyrie looked at Hela incredulously, as this was completely different from her impression of the Goddess of Death's usual thods.

Hela propped her chin with one hand and, sowhat resigned, said, "That person… doesn't like killing his own kind."

"Let's go," Kyle said to Thor, then turned and walked toward the main door of the Hall of the Gods.

"Wait! I haven't avenged my hamr yet, and the Asgard was left by my father," Thor said, still a little unwilling, his eyes flashing with electric light as he stared at Hela.

"Don't you understand?" Hela smiled, "Your hamr, the Asgard, I created them. Otherwise, how could Mjolnir be so easily shattered? And why does the Asgard recognize as its master?"

"That…" Thor was speechless.

"Let's go, Thor," Kyle patted him on the shoulder, glanced at Hela, and said, "I think she's right. And here, you can't defeat her— unless you want to destroy the entire Asgard."

In the end, the battle hadn't even started, yet it was already over.

Kyle led Thor and the others out of the Hall of the Gods, leaving Hela alone on her solitary throne.

Her beautiful eyes narrowed slightly as if she was truly tired. Her head tilted gently, and her black hair cascaded down like a waterfall as she began to doze off on the throne of the Asgard.

She would stay here, waiting until that person returned.
