Or perhaps they were directly arranged by Dusk.
Hunting those God Descenders—
"Retreat," Hong Yuan communicated with other God Descenders through Secret Techniques, "Zheng Yichen’s condition is extrely abnormal. God Descenders are not cannon fodder to fill gaps. Several God Descenders have perished here already. Even for the Great World’s Boundary Breaking Organization with its vast enterprises, this is a considerable loss."
The loss of several God Descenders ant that there would be a minor support rupture in other worlds on the part of the Great World.
"I will use the God Simulation Engine to cover our retreat."
"Then hurry up!!" A God Descender yelled out. He had been numbed by the Oblivion carried by Zheng Yichen’s attack, his vitality ebbed away under the influence of Oblivion until he dispelled the Inner Strength carrying Oblivion, feeling sowhat better.
But the lost vitality was difficult to recover. To be more precise, a portion of his lifespan had been erased, which ant that no matter how much he extended his lifespan in the future, he could no longer return to the youthfulness of being eighteen years old.
Because a part of his lifespan had been erased by Oblivion, his best state after extending his lifespan would appear to be in his twenties for others, for him it would only be in his forties, and costic procedures belonged to the Evil Path.
They could fool others, but not change what’s inside.
This erasure of lifespan was even crueler than directly eliminating lifespan, at least lifespan could be extended by various ans.
Once the lifespan is gone, it is truly gone.
This was because he reacted quickly. Had he reacted slower, more of his lifespan would have been erased, and the peak of his physical appearance might start from the age of fifty or sixty. The erosion of lifespan had a severe impact on appearance.
So other powerful beings could use their Life Power to modify their appearance to look like old n in their seventies or eighties, but the health of their interior was the sa as that of a young person at their peak.
His case, however, was consistent inside and out: a "peak" in his forties, internally as well. One can imagine that if his lifespan was more severely reduced, starting his peak appearance at eighty, his interior would match an eighty-year-old as well.
Maintaining one’s strength with powerful force was possible, but that was just maintenance; it would never compare to soone who truly stayed in their peak state.
"It’s ready now, retreat!"
Hong Yuan left these words and departed directly. The God Simulation Engine, missing an arm and covered in scars, turned a deep red as it augnted the reality-distorting power, enveloping the entire battlefield, leaving so Oath Keepers red-faced.
Under this distortion, the powers they could normally unleash beca inhibited. So Oath Keepers could release flas or strong winds, but the unleashed flas turned into re sparks, and the winds beca an intensely hot fla current instead.
This fla current could even harm the casters, twisting and distorting various aspects of strength into chaos. However, the Oath Keepers who fought with their physical bodies were less affected.
The Dusk rcenaries were similarly affected, but this ti the effect didn’t lead to any significant casualties.
Firstly, the reality distortion was aid at Zheng Yichen; the spread of its effects that reached the others did not include the main battlefield.
When the domain of reality distortion encountered the mist of the Oath Beast, it was partially neutralized. The Oath Keepers fighting inside were mostly unaffected, and the God Descenders took this opportunity to choose retreat, with no intention to take advantage of the situation to attack the Dusk rcenaries or Oath Keepers.
If you dared to be slow this ti, you would be directly slaughtered by Zheng Yichen. Even so, there were still those who were slow to escape and were overrun by Zheng Yichen, whose attacks, carrying Oblivion, powerfully shattered the God Descenders’ counterattacks, turning them into dust on the spot.
Within two fleeing rays of light, one contained an empty shell with nothing inside, while the other showed a faint presence of a soul, but it was virtually useless.
Afterward, Zheng Yichen was intercepted by the overloaded God Simulation Engine.
The sturdy exterior of the God Simulation Engine was rapidly torn apart under his attack, and the massive machine disintegrated in a very short ti, the areas where the God Simulation Engine was cut appearing severely necrotic, like they had sat for ten thousand years.
Zheng Yichen took a breath and set his sights on the Oath Beast below. Because of the interference of those previous God Descenders, the Oath Beast had started to grow again. Although it was not as large as initially, it had begun to display its "world-ending" might again.
Without hesitation, Zheng Yichen imdiately charged over, swiftly shattering the Chains of Oath. The mist emitted by the Oath Beast now had a negligible effect on him; on the contrary, each of his strikes easily cut through the mist.
He caused the attacked areas to remain unoccupied by the mist for a long ti, but no one else could approach the area as the remaining Oblivion itself was more deadly than the mist.
Brainless Oath monsters that approached quickly perished, corroding away under the astonished gaze of so Oath Keepers, who imdiately stopped their advance toward that area. Compared to the eerie conditions there, they felt quite comfortable in the mist emitted by the Oath Beast. With the support of their Fervent Blood Life and the freezing effect of the ice crystals, their Fervent Blood Life was almost unlimited, capable of withstanding the corrosive impact of the mist.
As for the pain... it didn’t matter anymore.
As Zheng Yichen severed one trendous Oath chain after another, all of the Oath Keepers watching the battlefield heaved a sigh of relief. The massive chanical monster had been annihilated, those enemies which had co through the cracks had been driven away, and now the Oath Beast was also being suppressed. As long as there were no further complications, the situation should be able to end like this, right?
Thinking this way, the remaining Oath Keepers beca more proactive. Unable to approach the place where Zheng Yichen fought, they could start elsewhere, shattering several large Chains of Oath could help resolve the issue even sooner.
