The Fire Dragon took out his phone and contacted Ahn Qi, who, filled with surprise, promptly arrived and asked the impatient Fire Dragon, "Are you sure you want to leave now?"
She didn’t mind the Fire Dragon leaving; he had already provided plenty of materials. If necessary, Ahn Ke’s side could cultivate many dragons with low IQ for use, with resources like scales being basically sufficient. Moreover, the Fire Dragon had promised that, as long as he could return, he would provide a fairly complete body of magic and warrior knowledge.
Those things were more valuable, and researching the Fire Dragon was just a target; such knowledge could give the Ahn family a complete and comprehensive power system.
"Better early than late, the sooner we start, the sooner we get results," declared the Fire Dragon Klakauska decisively, "I can leave imdiately if there’s no problem."
"...I think you have a problem," Ahn Qi said, examining Klakauska’s current state, with a body over two ters tall, red skin, and so areas covered with snake-like scales. Showing up on the street looking like this, he was bound to be mistaken for so kind of bio-engineered creature.
"Just throw on a robe, and it’ll be fine, no big deal," Klakauska said, rubbing his hands together with his grating voice, "Let’s hurry up."
Ahn Qi said nothing more; it was a promise long ago made, no need to back out at this point. She glanced at Zheng Yichen and left to make arrangents.
"I’ll be relying on you when the ti cos," Klakauska said eagerly, rubbing his hands together and completely unconcerned that his current actions amounted to being a guide... He didn’t care, for Zheng Yichen was not a Boundary Breaker; the Demigods he had to deal with deserved to die, and he would find it thrilling to kill dozens or hundreds of them.
"Alright then, I’m off to call people too; can’t miss this rare opportunity," Zheng Yichen said waving his hand as he walked away.
Normally, traveling to another world required coordinates and a ’fare’. If returning to one’s own world, there was no need for such expense. The Fire Dragon was returning to his world, similar to Zheng Yichen’s situation when he beca a Proxy Agent.
He could even bring back others directly.
By the ti he got ho, two witches had already packed their belongings, each pulling a suitcase, ready to travel. They no more carried the air of the Middle Ages; they had long adapted to modern life.
"Ready? Let’s go then."
Zheng Yichen rode his motorcycle, while Katrina and Eileena followed on another. Wise Dragon No. 9 had left a subroutine in the laboratory responsible for daily maintenance and defense. If anyone tried to invade, the protection chanism would be triggered.
This place seed important, but was not that crucial. If soone tried to take advantage during their absence, Zheng Yichen wouldn’t be polite upon his return.
Dusk Cathedral.
Eileena looked around the cathedral with curiosity; she hadn’t visited often. After observing for a while, she lost her initial curiosity. Just like her first impression, the cathedral was suitable for rest and reading extracurricular books.
Beyond that, in every aspect, the cathedral seed very ’ordinary’.
She found a seat and took out a book, reading quietly, waiting for the people Zheng Yichen was expecting.
Not even half an hour later, a tall figure arrived. Seeing the now whitened Fire Dragon, Zheng Yichen’s eyes twitched, "Nice job there."
"...I feel uncomfortable," the Fire Dragon said uneasily. He hadn’t used a cloak but instead applied a bionic paint to his skin to cover up the color. Although it didn’t affect physical sensation, he was sowhat unaccustod to it after the color change.
"You won’t be uncomfortable soon. The others... Oh? Just her alone?" Zheng Yichen looked at Ahn Ke who followed.
"I alone am enough," said Ahn Ke with a composed expression, "Ahn Qi is tied up with other things, and Ahn Long... My fourth sister cannot leave for long periods either, but I can."
"I thought you were more important."
"Indeed, I am. But considering the tasks at hand, so things that need to be done here can be put on hold."
The Life Preservation Technology made the Ahn family take great interest, but the Ahn family had many researchers. Without her, they could still continue following the plans she had set out, and she could adjust any flaws upon her return.
Slower progress is acceptable; it won’t co to a standstill without her.
The key was this mission to another world with magic and gods. Ahn Qi’s combat ability was diocre, and even with a stronger arm and significantly improved strength, she wouldn’t be enough for that world.
Ahn Longling was even less worth ntioning; sending Ahn family fighters was hardly significant. Ahn Ke’s initial request was going to be rejected.
If not considering fighters, there were too many attractive and capable individuals in the Ahn family, easy to pick and send to Zheng Yichen’s side.
Therefore, the Ahn family initially did not plan to let Ahn Ke join, but with her insistence on this matter, the Ahn family agreed. She stated that once she followed, certain research aspects would proceed more smoothly, and she could also monitor Zheng Yichen’s power limit more directly.
This reason was enough for the Ahn family to agree.
As for others, Ahn Ke did not ask anyone to follow, and there was no need for them to do so. In fact, bringing more people would only add an unnecessary burden due to the large number.
Zheng Yichen was already accompanied by two witches, so any additional people really seed superfluous.
"Shall we set off now?" Zheng Yichen glanced at the suitcase Ahn Ke was carrying, which appeared to be the sa type as those carried by Katrina and the others.
But given Ahn Ke’s profession, the contents of the suitcase were certainly not ordinary everyday items like clothing that a girl might carry when she’s out.
"Set off, set off! Hahaha, I’ve been waiting for this day for a long ti," the voice of Klakauska bood, the fire dragon having eagerly sought out the Dusk nun as soon as he arrived at Dusk Cathedral, directly declaring his intention to beco a Dusk rcenary.
To a dragon like him, the Dusk nun agreed imdiately. As long as there was adaptability, Dusk would not refuse an existence that wished to beco a Dusk rcenary, even if the strong man in question turned out to be a dragon.
The fire dragon had brought up going back to his ho with the Dusk nun, who was not Tia, and then they were taken to that room which Zheng Yichen had used many tis.
This was the first ti Ahn Ke had seen this place. She glanced at the empty room before drawing her gaze back and asked, "What do we need to do next?"
The fire dragon was also curious.
"We don’t have to do anything, just close and open the door and we’ll be there," Zheng Yichen said, and as he spoke, the sound of a door closing ca from behind him. Then, without waiting for the Dusk nun outside to open the door, he moved to the doorway first and opened the door.
Klakauska twitched his nose, his eyes wide open: "That’s right, this is the feeling, the air I’m familiar with, this is too amazing!"
His world had teleportation magic, which was of a high order. The dragon had experienced the effects of that magic, which were completely different from what he was experiencing now. Teleportation magic created a big disturbance, as it involved space; even if ordinary people couldn’t feel the fluctuations caused by the disturbance of space, magic users with Magic Power could sense it to so extent.
Even spellcasters who had not touched spatial power could not avoid it; the disturbance in space would cause the Elents power to beco agitated as well.
To teleport without any disturbance... it was virtually unheard of. Klakauska could at least be certain there was nothing like that in his own world, let alone cross-world teleportation without disturbance, rely through opening and closing a door? That was even more convenient than taking an elevator.
He was sure this was his world by the air that rushed in the mont the door was opened, instantly feeling the familiar environnt.
It wasn’t a familiar feeling brought by the air, but rather by the familiar sensation produced by the elental environnt.
To describe it, it was like suddenly moving from a winter setting to the height of sumr; with just a slight sensation, one could tell which season the environnt belonged to.
The fire dragon couldn’t wait to dash out of the room, he just wanted to burst into song.
"Let’s go out and have a look as well." Watching the fire dragon’s excited figure, Zheng Yichen said to the won by his side, "We might be a bit rushed for ti, so it’s better to arrange so things earlier."
He hadn’t stayed in Hazy City for many days on this return trip, but because of his ntal state, he had to stay an extra week in the world where the Great Evil God reigned.
He guessed he had at most about a month of free ti left in this world? During this period, he needed to improve himself as much as possible, to heal his injuries completely and incidentally kill that Demigod that Klakauska was so fixated on.
Well, first let’s see the level of the Demigods in this world.
"Of course, I didn’t co here for a vacation, and this environnt makes feel a bit... uncomfortable?" Ahn Ke looked at her hands, feeling an oppressive discomfort like that of water pressure while diving.
"It’s probably the influence of the Elents power in the environnt," Zheng Yichen raised his hand, and a ball of fire elent gathered in his palm. The elental power in this world was very abundant; he could see the rich colors in the surrounding environnt even with his eyes closed. The energy level of this world was definitely the highest of all the worlds he had encountered.
The intensity level wasn’t low either, but it was a bit less than the energy level, which confird that this world was currently in a mage-oriented phase.
Warriors weren’t necessarily inferior, but there would be so gaps in comparison to the noble mages.
"What about you?" Ahn Ke asked the two witches.
The two witches shook their heads, they could also feel the rich elental power in the surrounding environnt but didn’t experience the sa pressure as Ahn Qi.
"... Alright, I need to find a way to deal with this problem first, otherwise I can’t concentrate," Ahn Ke said sowhat helplessly; the pressure was indeed having a significant impact on her.
"Let’s ask Klakauska first, he should understand this issue," Zheng Yichen was the second to leave the room, observing the state of Dusk Cathedral in this world...
