Life Preservation Technology was indeed unnecessary for Zheng Yichen, as his innate serpent’s exuvia was similar to this technology but more effective. If the enemies he encountered were too strong to overco, Life Preservation Technology would hardly offer him an extra chance at life.
"What I don’t need, others may find useful."
Ahn Ke thought for a mont, then shook his head, "This will take a not insignificant amount of ti."
While they had enough technology frawork and components, and the crucial ’Ark of Life’ fragnt, coming up with the corresponding design was not so simple, "But this technology could gain more support."
Life Preservation Technology is not rely a form of refrigeration; it’s a more permanent form of preservation. Concerns about whether the preserved life would run into issues were relatively easy to resolve; it was sufficient to ensure that the soul was well preserved.
As for other aspects that needed adjusting, Ahn Ke planned to start with the ’Ark of Life’. Chiang Wei’s world had provided the frawork for this technology, but to reactivate the preserved life, recovery of the preserved material was necessary.
Her concept was far more ’convenient’, though it also required recovery, after which the recovered life disks could easily be put to use by inserting them into beings with similar life forms, thus affecting everything about them and turning them into vessels for resurrection.
Normally, this would be challenging, but it was feasible to just further harness the ’Ark of Life’ properties inherent in the Great Evil God fragnt.
Even if the new body was not a perfect match for the individual, once the mission was complete and they returned, the life disk could be extracted for a complete human reconstruction.
Taking this further ant that Zheng Yichen’s serpent’s exuvia could be manipulated, allowing the life disks cultivated within individuals to store additional Life Force, then trigger upon death to use the life disk as a basis for a ’rebirth’.
Ahn Ke had nurous ideas. Hazy City had such a wide range of technologies to draw from, giving ample room for manipulation, unlike Chiang Wei’s world, which lacked high-end technology due to a late start and thus focused mainly on their own world’s core tech tree for research.
Although there were more advanced technologies in that world than in Hazy City, they weren’t as comprehensive.
"If you want to prepare this for the witches of your house, you can have them co over to coordinate."
"...It’s not just them."
Ho’s two witches were manageable, basically providing tool support, but he was thinking about Liu Hongzhao and the others; being Dusk rcenaries was a high-risk profession, and having extra ans to preserve their lives was important.
In other respects, in Chiang Wei’s world, ho to the Firmant Wheel, it was possible to trade this complete technology. He didn’t an to let the people of that world use it, but at the very least, it was crucial that the Dusk rcenaries there utilized the technology.
The more Dusk rcenaries there were, the greater the impact on the expansion of the Great World.
"There’s no rush; we must wait patiently," Ahn Ke shook his head. Even if the Ahn family realized the importance of this technology and increased resource allocation, it was not like playing a ga where spending more could speed up production.
"Being anxious about sothing that can’t be rushed is futile; better to pay more attention to your body."
"Ah, that really requires rest and recuperation." Zheng Yichen waved his sore right hand, which had been disguised by Lilith’s illusion when he was outside. Back here, he had no such disguise.
"I’m just very curious why this injury can’t heal. Since you’re here, there’s no rush to leave. Let have a look, shall I?" Ahn Ke’s gaze was intent as he eyed Zheng Yichen’s right arm, "You can stay the night if you don’t want to go back."
"Forget it, I just got back ho not long ago; I can’t stay out all night." Zheng Yichen extended his right hand, "What do you plan to do?"
"Let’s start by examining the lifeform level of your arm." Ahn Ke, already having a plan, provided an imdiate answer.
It was very rare for a being with superhuman recovery to sustain injuries that are difficult to self-heal, and cases like Zheng Yichen’s, unafflicted by viruses or curses, are even rarer.
Encountering this and not thoroughly researching and collecting data would be, in Ahn Ke’s opinion, a disservice to himself.
...
"The sll of disinfectant on you is so strong." At night, Katrina sniffed the odor on Zheng Yichen, "Hurry up, let’s take a bath together."
After nearly two hours of bathing, Zheng Yichen, with one arm wrapped around the girl perched on his left shoulder in the bedroom, said, "I plan to go to the fire dragon’s side. How about you guys get ready and co along? That world has a complete magic system."
Katrina’s eyes lit up, "Can that be done?"
"Of course it can. Let’s go together," Zheng Yichen said with a smile. As for the issue of the ticket expenses, he could now afford it, and the environnt in the Fire Dragon’s world would benefit Katrina and Eileena even more. As for the issue of overstaying, that was even easier to solve. He could open a storage facility there and pick them up later.
The most crucial part was their magic advancent in that world. The Fire Dragon could provide a wealth of magic knowledge, but its learning system differed from humans. The two witches at ho were self-taught in these magical knowledges.
The next morning, during breakfast, Zheng Yichen ntioned this matter to Eileena, who happily agreed. However, she proposed bringing Wise Dragon No. 9. Her research on necromantic skills was ongoing, and bringing Wise Dragon No. 9 would increase efficiency in learning, ensuring that she could acquire knowledge in a short period of ti that would have taken others several years, or even longer, to learn.
"This thod of learning has its downsides. One can quickly master a large amount of new knowledge, but applying it requires practice," Eileena ntioned the issue with this unique learning thod. Knowledge learned in ten minutes, but to apply it proficiently, that would take ten days or even longer to practice.
That was inevitable. Using Wise Dragon No. 9 to accelerate learning was akin to compressing the knowledge from books into one’s brain. After cramming a massive amount of knowledge, to better utilize it would require ti to fully decompress that knowledge and release it.
"Great, this way it seems you won’t need to waste years like students going back to school again." Zheng Yichen snapped his fingers and quickly finished breakfast, then said, "Get ready first, I’ll go find the Fire Dragon."
The Fire Dragon that Zheng Yichen found was a bit perplexed as he looked at him, struggling for a while before saying, "You’re not exactly crippled now, but I’d really prefer you to help in your peak condition."
What the Fire Dragon said was straightforward: heal your injuries and stop ssing around with so many things.
"Cut it out, the problems I encounter next ti might be even bigger," Zheng Yichen interrupted the Fire Dragon’s hesitation. He couldn’t resist upgrading his equipnt again. According to the characteristics of Dusk, who knew what difficult situations it would arrange for him.
The doomsday world he might have to face was not necessarily one with extrely high combat values, but its complexity wouldn’t be low either.
Of course, as long as he was well-rounded, those many complex factors would be simple for him, similar to the last world. Dusk rcenaries, who were unable to beco immune to environntal anomalies, could easily create ntal Aberration creatures with just a bit of carelessness.
Zheng Yichen could disregard such problems.
"...Well, okay then, but can’t you think of a way to recover faster?" The Fire Dragon was clearly torn.
"I’ll go to your side and kill a few weak Demigods to see," Zheng Yichen suggested.
The Fire Dragon instantly perked up and nodded rapidly, "Of course. I haven’t been here long, those Demigods should be doing fine. I hope your abilities are reliable, and best case, they truly allow for your rapid recovery."
As for the Demigods whose fate they had decided, the Fire Dragon did not care in the slightest. In his world, there was no shortage of Demigods who deserved death. More people would clap their hands in the event a few of them died, and the gods behind those Demigods might not even react. Demigods were plentiful, but not that many gods necessarily paid attention to them.
Or rather, the abundance of Demigods caused so gods to not want to pay close attention, unless a Demigod was very capable. As long as you didn’t target that kind of Demigod, it was fine to treat the others as if they were Saudi princes—you know, there are plenty of those princes.
The offspring of gods with humans or other creatures were Demigods. Even the offspring of such Demigod creatures could be considered Demigods. The bloodline of the gods was potent, and so elders of the Dragon Tribe had told him that as long as the divine bloodline was no less than 10%, it could generally be considered a Demigod.
If the concentration was below that level, they would be considered Divinity creatures. The progeny of gods and non-divine creatures, as long as it’s within three generations, were generally seen as Demigods. Offspring between Demigods maintained a bloodline concentration not too dissimilar from their parents.
If there was a significant difference between the mother’s and father’s bloodline concentration, the offspring’s concentration would fall sowhere between them, closer to the parent with the weaker concentration.
Of course, the progeny of Demigods occasionally produced a ’throwback,’ but such cases were extrely rare. The real instance Fire Dragon Klakauska saw was the dragon egg he initially wanted to steal.
In short, in his world, killing a few Demigods with low concentrations of blood who deserved death really had no impact. There were not that many gods that were protective of their offspring, much less for Demigods several generations removed.
Demigods were still divine, though. If Zheng Yichen truly managed to kill them and then accelerated the healing of his injuries, that would be the best outco. Even if he couldn’t speed up the healing, if it enhanced his power, allowing him to kill his desired targets while in a semi-crippled state, that would be good too.
Thinking this, the Fire Dragon looked at Zheng Yichen sowhat differently. He rembered a breeding ga he played not long ago—uh, it wasn’t about raising girls, aesthetic tastes differ and there’s nothing to say about that. He played those monster-breeding gas.
Upon returning to his own world, he would carefully select so easy targets among the Demigods for Zheng Yichen to level up on and then kill that Demigod; anwhile, he’d figure out a way to secretly take the dragon egg he’d had his eye on before.
Thinking of the speed at which Zheng Yichen grew stronger, this whole process seed workable. The Fire Dragon took out his phone, ready to get started—he had waited for too long!
