Regarding the manifestation of spatial distortion, Zheng Yichen’s evaluation was quite good.
The motorcycle’s enhanced features were primarily supportive, so strongly supportive that, just thinking about his own fishing rod, cat spirit cloak, and noise pistol, it was very stable. Moreover, this round of enhancents could even activate previously underused functions within the motorcycle.
The weapon’s temporary enhancent feature was of little significance to Zheng Yichen, unless he was using it in a low-level environnt. Now, that function could also play a role in a high-level environnt and could specifically target so enemies.
Firearms capable of causing spatial distortion, just the thought of it was impressive.
"My curse can be absorbed too, right?"
"Yes, boss," Lilith gave a precise answer, "I started absorbing the power of the curse while you were sitting on the bike. That cursed power can be stored inside the temporarily enhanced weapon."
"That will do," Zheng Yichen was even more satisfied with the motorcycle that had essentially beco divine. He had been burdened by those curses for a while now and knew how disgusting they could be. Now, these disgusting things could be turned into effective weapons... If he had known earlier, he would have removed fewer curses from himself.
Just as he was about to leave the garage, Zheng Yichen asked Lilith to scan the external environnt. An extra scanning map appeared on the projection screen beside him. There were no anomalies within Lilith’s scanning range, and she could also capture electronic signals.
However, there was an issue with the frequency of these electronic signals. It took Zheng Yichen a while to decipher them. There was a network in this world, which wasn’t surprising to him.
When he had chatted with the fire dragon back in Hazy City, the fire dragon had shared so details about his world. Although magic was the mainstream force there with no rich network gas or a wealth of online information, it didn’t an that the scientific developnt in that world was lacking.
Rather, the science there was not technology but magic, and there were things similar to networks, like so products of magic-guided technology that were also accessible to ordinary people, with many magical items in daily use.
There were various transportation tools as well, and when it ca to farming and cultivating the land, it wasn’t just hard labor—there was corresponding magic-guided technology to assist. There were also equivalents to computers in that world, the most common being the tower spirits that ca standard with the mages’ magic towers.
Though the fire dragon’s world was not modern in the way a technological world is, its productivity and technical performance were by no ans inferior to those in Hazy City when compared. The difference was that it was focused on the ordinary; ordinary people couldn’t indulge in the plethora of network gas or easily engage in online social interactions.
In this respect, the fire dragon’s world seed weaker, but it was stronger in other areas.
So in worlds with high-end, special powers, as long as the world wasn’t severely ill, the developnt of civilian aspects generally wouldn’t be too poor.
It seed ancient or dieval only in those worlds where the special forces were relatively low-level; Ahn Qi’s hunters group had plenty of data on this as well.
As for the world Liu Hongzhao ca from, just looking at the chanical Techniques there, it was clear that they could also pursue technology if they chose to; however, that world had a group of Supre Demons who didn’t regard humans as equals, and the human race lacked a supre being that could clearly resist or counter the Supre Demons.
To the Supre Demons, it seed the humans in that world were re toys and pawns on a chessboard. The developnt of the humans wasn’t important to them, and if it escalated too dramatically, the Supre Demons would even actively intervene to undermine it. Although the fire dragon’s world also had gods, the gods there valued people... or rather, the faith brought by all living beings more.
With the technological developnt of living beings improving, the rise in productivity ans that there will be even more intelligent life forms appearing. Not only that, within the human race or other major races of that world, there are existences that are sowhat equivalent to gods, so it isn’t completely imbalanced.
Zheng Yichen is now facing a world of high intelligence and high productivity, where as long as there is no existence like a Supre Demon, or factors that intentionally suppress the era’s developnt, and discounting the fact that the civilization here has not been developing for very long, the level of developnt here should not be too bad, even if there are cultivators.
Cultivators also need resources, and as productivity rises, they can naturally gain access to more resources... putting it negatively, those existences might beco like capitalists, but if they want more, then they must improve the foundations, perhaps exerting greater range of exploitation?
But that would only work if there were no other competitors.
Lilith obtained the basic information through the network, and Zheng Yichen leisurely flipped through these materials she had gotten first-hand, while also having Lilith activate a projection disguise to leave the garage in Dusk Territory.
The mont he left the garage, Lilith’s warning sounded, detecting more than twelve different kinds of abnormal energy that were outside the range of the interference device. Zheng Yichen clicked his tongue; it seed that a major upgrade for the interference device’s hardware was indeed necessary.
Otherwise, facing such a situation would be quite annoying. If he could interfere with this part of the force, he could leave this place silently using the projection disguise, avoiding becoming the target of everyone’s attention from the start. Now that he had been exposed so directly, even if the motorcycle’s projection function had been enhanced with the Snake God’s exuvia material, this enhancent did not include anti-espionage capabilities.
This kind of enhancent definitely wasn’t as versatile as the Snake God, and could only be shown in specific aspects.
"After we return this ti, make a copy of the recorded energy fluctuation data, and later send it to Chiang Wei to see if it’s possible to produce an upgraded version of the interference device."
The Lilith projection sitting on Zheng Yichen’s shoulder nodded her small head: "mo created, BOSS, should we speed up now?"
"Let’s go! And extend the projection disguise over ."
"Coverage complete."
Zheng Yichen looked at his palm, noticing a layer of gloves covered his hands, and his clothes had also changed. When he touched them, there was a faint sense of texture.
Lilith explained, "After the projection function was enhanced, besides the original default mode, the projection can also co with energy enhancents to provide a certain degree of texture and authenticity to the disguise."
"That’s quite good, but against so special visions, the default mode is actually better." Zheng Yichen blinked, and the glove on the back of his hand faded slightly, but did not disappear completely.
His eyes had a certain degree of Illusion-Breaking effect, which was extrely effective against illusions ford by special powers, but it would diminish against refractions or projections of light that did not involve special powers.
It seed as if magic couldn’t handle what science fiction could, but Zheng Yichen personally felt that the traits of this Illusion-Breaking effect were still not strong enough. If it was strong enough to see the true nature of all things, then what would external factors matter? Once he could see the true essence, any refracted light would be clearly visible in his eyes, thus detecting the problem.
