Diviners, drained to the point of risking their lives, looked exhausted, and what they finally achieved was a compass. Yi Nan, trembling in his arms, handed this compass to Zheng Yichen; the middle-aged man now looked as old as one crossing the threshold of seventy.
The rapid depletion over a short period took an even heavier toll on the diviners’ appearances.
"Boss, no issues detected so far," Lilith’s projection appeared on Zheng Yichen’s shoulder, looking at the compass in Yi Nan’s hand. Through energy monitoring, it had been confird that the compass now contained so kind of power, and traces of Supre Demon energy were also discovered in the monitoring.
However, that energy wasn’t aggressive; it was rather constrained by so force within the compass. This object was now akin to a fantasy version of a location tracker. She wasn’t a rigid computer system and could easily classify such things after encountering corresponding examples.
While a location tracker can pinpoint locations, correspondingly if the person being tracked possesses the relevant equipnt, they can also attempt to reverse track the approximate or exact location of the tracker. Generally, however, the person being tracked doesn’t hold such devices.
"Are you all okay?" Zheng Yichen was the first to ask, a bit worried that the four diviners might suddenly drop dead on the road.

After eating this item, the complexions of the four diviners improved slightly; at least they no longer seed to be trembling and on the verge of dropping into their graves. Could this actually work?
"This is a little trick of ours, Diviners, to distribute so of the backlash when using the Divination Art," Yi Nan explained about the item they just ate, "It’s just that this distribution can only take effect after the fact."
"Got it," Zheng Yichen understood it as a special health points regeneration drug. The energy drained by the backlash was partially stored by this substance, and once the diviners completed the divination, eating it allowed them to recover a portion of the energy consud.
It’s a distribution, but it’s a lonely one; it effectively reduces energy drain but is useless during the divination process. If they couldn’t withstand it and perished, the item would be of no use.
After employing universal asures, Yi Nan and the others began to display their own unique tricks. After a flurry of activity, Zheng Yichen, through thermal vision, saw that their lifeforce ’heat sources’ were successfully pulled back to nearly half the level—a huge improvent from having spent over half their lives earlier.

"Of course, we do. Our previous preparations could reduce the consumption during divination to less than a tenth," Wei Xue spoke up. Specifically, about 5%—a small amount, yes, but for Diviners, this was an extrely potent thod.
Any reduction in exhaustion was a cause for quiet celebration; it’s always better than nothing. Once the diviners had recovered sowhat, Zheng Yichen began to use the compass, which had already successfully located the trace of the Supre Demon. The final results would not be much affected by who used it next.
Observing the changes in the device, Zheng Yichen pondered how to proceed with the next actions. It wasn’t that he hadn’t planned ahead, but the direction that the compass was pointing to was rather troubleso—the compass had many symbols resembling hexagrams, which Zheng Yichen did not understand, but the Diviners beside him could interpret.
There was good reason for Zheng Yichen to hold on to the compass.

According to the Diviners’ explanation, the device first pointed towards the Gate of Hell, located in the Land of Calamities—that is to say, one shouldn’t even dream of finding the Supre Demon within the Mortal Realm. As for which Supre Demon was being pointed to, that couldn’t be determined; not many were pinpointed.
Currently, only two had been located, which amounted to randomly selecting two unfortunate Supre Demons. To locate all their positions in one go?
Forget it. Being able to pinpoint two was already fortunate; they initially only hoped to locate one. The second one ca as a bonus.
